    So you're really doing it at 15W. Now... is that 15W input or 15W output? There's a huge difference, since your lasers (like all lasers) do NOT run 100% efficient.

    could this be now on a larger scale, cutting through multiple pieces of paper at a time

    • @svendesmet3007
      @svendesmet3007 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There is a limit... You can see in the video that paper starts to bend upward when being cut. If you stack multiple papers on top of each other, you'll get a lot of burn marks on the last pages. So you'll have a maximum of 2-4 papers on top off each other (depending on what sort of paper you have).

    • @jeantrinh7766
      @jeantrinh7766 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It doesn't work that way yet. The bottom layers won't cut through and the top one will burn.

    Are the prices inclusive of shipping overseas?
    And what are the financing options for that if training on site is included?

    • @bosslasers
      @bosslasers  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! We do not ship outside the US, but the can ship to a freight forwarder in the States. You can then arrange for shipping from there. There would be an additional fee to have the machine shipped to a freight forwarder. As for training, we currently do not provide training overseas.
      Let us know if you have any other questions!

    Your website does not list this model under the "arts & crafts" section, rather it starts with model LS-1416. Would LS-1416 model (with the standard 50W tube) be capable of doing invitations as shown in this video? What would upgrading to the 60W tube on the LS-1416 do? While the model in this video looks amazing and exactly what I want (except I don't see needing that large of a work area).....I definitely won't be going to that price range either.

    • @rich1051414
      @rich1051414 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      50w is perfect for paper and thin material cutting. The more powerful lasers are for thicker materials, and can burn thinner materials, depending on how fast the laser cutter can move. Basically, it's better to have a weaker laser for thin materials otherwise the laser cutter has to be over-engineered for inhuman operational speed.
      The faster the laser cutter moves, the more likely it will have drift errors due to overshooting from inertia. So yeah, the weaker laser is the way to go.

      Thats a 100w laser they used to cut that paper at 15% power.. They even cut ply wood and acrylic up to 15mm thick. tho just at a higher power setting and slower on the speed.
      There are also smaller powered co2 lasers that will even do up to 5mm wood and acrylic if someone was only going to need to cut thin wood. paper or leather.

    • @Lolatronn
      @Lolatronn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a pulsed laser! Pulsed lasers work in weird and confusing way compared to regular non pulsed lasers. The time the laser is on is only for a few microseconds or less even. Because of the short time the paper doesn't have time to adsorb enough heat to char. The stuff directly underneath the laser beam gets immediately obliterated though. Styro pyros video on a laser tattoo machine has a better explanation on pulsed lasers.

    Bcz the paper i use is rubbury coated on front ??

    • @jjames3793
      @jjames3793 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      it would cut it. but if your thinking so you could use the laser to cut out the out line of the design from the transfer paper. tho if you are meaning vynil iron on transfer paper. rather then sublimination paper then you have to be very very careful of what brand of matiral you use and have to make sure it does not contain any pvc aka vynil because it gives off toxic and very corrsive gass that turn to nitric acid when it combines with h2o in the air and even just cutting a few pcs of vynil in a laser can destory the machine. The acidid corrosive fumes stick and condence on any bare metal in the machein including the ralls. bearings. all the copper in the electronics. and even seen some machens that cut vynil for a few months that were so rusted and correded that the coating on the lens and mirrors even trued green and most of the componets on the circute boards had most of there solder joints corroded away and could just flick off the chips and ICs. Tho some coponys such as sissor now make laser safe vynils tht contain no pvc but not all colors or matrials.
      best thing for cutting out t shirt heat press matrial would be vynil cutter like a siloette, cricket or even a rolland.
