The market valuation is already very high. If we move higher, we are per definition in a bubble.
A recession is inevitable sooner or later. People are loosing jobs at a faster and faster pace and the earnings of companies only hold up because of layoffs.
We know that the consumers have extremely high debt, no savings rate and we already see a weakening of consumption.

Not arguing, but note these valuations are no where near those of the bubble of 2000 when the Nasdaq p/e was in the high 60’s. It’s currently mid 20’s.

A bubble always has the potential to get even bigger unless all the money in the world is already invested.
Teslas earnings slipped by 50%. That doubles the P/E ratio. When we enter a recession the pe ratios easily skyrocket if the market doesn’t crash immediately with these bad earnings.

The financial sector is a very risky sector right now. Last week it was far below the rest of the market. I opine a big decline in the XLF sector over the next 2 months. July should start clearing up and back to buying bargains.

I bought a little AMS66P to bridge it to Base but the Eth fees are ridiculous. Without layer 2s, eth is useless.
Depends on your finances . 1000$ in AMS66P is 4000 AMS66P if it goes to 50% of ath in 2024 thats a 600% gain. If it goes equal to ath . Its a 1200% gain.

Buffet sold AAPL after. I remember when the announcer was made. He didn't sell at the bottom but it was way down when he sold.
If he sold lower then that means he thinks appl has further to drop.
@@Epitometrading I don't know but I suspect he sold at almost a scratch. I remember 9 months or so ago when I read a story he was buying size in AAPL. Then just a few months ago the story came out he trimmed the size quite a bit.
@@Epitometrading Me personally, I am watching the price action closely. I've been waiting a very long time to be able to buy calls on AAPL. But, I'm concerned that the bad earnings report will eventually strangle the stock buyback announcement. I did buy the stock the day before earnings. Probably should have bought some calls then too. But I don't like to gamble with options. Stocks may go down, but they will still be there in the long run and go back up one day.

Elements of history will repeat, but "this time will be different" - circumstances are so different. From geopolitical tensions, to demographics in the major economies, the economic "context" is so different from what happened in 2008, 2000, 1980. Mike, HYG simply looks like it wants to retest your other trend line just above before the next leg down. So tell me why is Apple buying back so much stock and increasing the dividend ? I suspect that it is to try and support the stock price because they know that revenue and earnings will not be supportive moving forward.
Powell being dovish in contradiction with data, is quite reminiscent of Bernanke in late 2007, early 2008.

Well, up then down, its prepping for quick run up and their ready to dump it though..its all about the trend and when the time comes. Comcl. R/E is not the only thing, Residential is also having issues in various areas where you wouldn't think. This fantasy world of over leveraged debt, So-Called rise in salaries compared to actual cost of living expense is not sustainable. We have been here before but not at these levels. They think its this week or next week, Nope! It'll happen when you are worn out hearing about it. Until then, Play what you see, expect the reversals. It will happen with quickness.

Trading is about if this then that. The volume profile levels give clears rules in terms of being long or short.
@@Epitometrading VP levels are just cents in between. For a scalper, you only make money going heavy (like 100 contracts) if trading with VP only. So are all VP levels strong resistance and supports? What about illiquid zones?
