Can we talk about how Ryujehong an amazing aim (probably one of the best in Overwatch) yet he plays support. Probably one of the most versatile players in OWL and even Overwatch
Arabian_Arya it can. Many of my friends say my mccree is good and all, but i just prefer playing ana and zen. Mercy is my least played support and im masters ish. Not trying to self praise, but im saying some people play support witha passion. Having good aim doesnt mean that you must always be a dps player.
Duuuude your videos prompted me to improve myself, thanks man! Glad to see you're back. They also inspired me to make my own Overwatch League content, though it's not quite as... educational as yours
I'm so happy to hear that you're doing VoD reviews again,I might actually send mine in for once hahaha.I loved the outro music by Fareeha as well, another great channel and I'm happy to see you're aware of her.
its so fn to watch, i recently got back into ow, and when you said. really old school tripple tank i was like. but that was what was normal when i left the game
this is the sort of team comp I've only theorized about in numbani since nobody wants to try it lol... My version switches the soldier for a tracer in order to have more pure aggression available, but I personally feel like mercy is the only healer that makes sense for attack numbani. Attackers typically play dive because of the verticality of the map and mercy is the ONLY SUPPORT that can follow in and she's generally protected from counter dive since she's IN the team fight.
The entire skinset is probably going to be released, sooner rather than later. th-cam.com/video/rLbdW3z5uQQ/w-d-xo.html Just speculation though, on my part and the video's. But it's Play Overwatch, so you can be guaranteed it's not total random bs.
That's super brilliant I could use this tactic for solo of duo q on annoying maps like numbani, giblatar, hanamura and horizon against far more coordinated teams
The Seoul vs. Houston game was very close and the score ended up being 2-1. Also London Spitfire's full Korean roster lost to LA Gladiators. Seoul Dynasty is currently the strongest team in OWL, but there isn't a huge gap between Koreans and non-Koreans. Non-Korean teams have an actual chance of winning the whole thing.
Waldowhereis That is a cool idea but hard to do with constant balance changes that leads to huge meta changes. Also often times, the attacker's team comp are the one reacting to the defender's team comp. Overwatch is a fast pace and possibly ever changing battle. There is a reason why Meta Athena didn't go too far dispite having quite a lot of talents as well as being extremely innovative. Your example for one would be hard to pull of since 1st point attackers don't actually have a good health pack for extended fights. It is also difficult to deny defenders of their health pack due to where it is as well. EMP is also possible not as effective since most teams don't actually defend on the point itself on Holywood point 1. Its usuallly quite spread out, and if they have heroes such as Torb/Widow, they have niche position even further away from point.
Can you break down LAG putting Shaz on Genji? In my opinion, that's a more interesting strat than putting Jehong on Soldier, something he's done quite a lot (particularly on the end of 2CP attacks and first point defenses).
was clutching extra rounds defense on horizon for a draw as bastion. I ult the point, kill the mercy and the mora and start to focus the D.va, but I forgot to touch the point, so we lost even though we could have won, full hold first point. Good to know that pros also C9. Anybody know where that term comes from?
MassiveTornado nobody is better than him. He was a dps player that switched to ana and is now the best ana player in the world. He duels dps with ana and wins almost every time. He can play anything and could probably be the best at it. He’s unreal. Not even seagull or sinatraa, effect. None of those guys compare to ryujehong.
Gracen304epic Best support I agree, but not in all aspects of overwatch. The best player would have to be able to play every hero with equal skill. Number one on all heroes
I feel like this video was over complicated. What I got from it was.... Numbani is a map with many high ground spots that separate the defending team from low ground. So just dive them. And Seol is very good at picking fights like soldier taking turrent out and team follows the attack. And they don't hesitate to switch. Also the c9 fail.
Seoul Dynasty are not just the Korean team, there are other Korean teams in this league too. The thing is that most of the players in Seoul Dynasty are from a team called "Lunatic-Hai". They are the 2 time back to back Apex champions. Apex is the South Korean overwatch league btw. So yeah, this isnt just THE South Korean team, they are the best of the best Of what South Korea can offer!
I would suggest using the overhead map to better represent the different routes attacking teams can take, doing spectator mode panning makes the video feel longer than it needs to be. [edit] once OWL starts you’ll have to differentiate yourself from other analysts.
"roadhogs not good" roadhog is the best counter to their entire team, melts both tanks, can 1 shot both supports, can 1 shot soldier and able to catch a tracer
yeah, its a weird title. the dynasty is the only korean team in the league though so it's not totally unjustified. tbh the average overwatch player doesn't know any owl teams yet, and definitely doesn't know where seoul is on a map so it's probably to be clearer to the average person
I'm waiting for plats to acknowledge torb can be used as a support too lmao. They just call you braindead because he's in the defense category. Sombra situation all over again.
People in the west grow up playing fps games so they have more mechanical skill. People in the east play more strategy games so they're better at planning and working together. It just looks like teamwork beats mechanical skill
Really don't like the Koreans in overwatch pro league, they win most of the time, it's boring to watch them win. Horrible opinion I know but I thought I might just say that.
If only South Korea could play themselves, that would be an insane game to watch. Hopefully with the support OWL is bringing to the table for players, NA teams will be able to catch up.
MrJasperFrench lucky for you that actually exists. the old korean league is called apex - now its contenders korea. the apex season 3 grand final match is fuckin insane, one of the best sets in ow history
Ashhkier_ There are still Korean vs Korean only matches available in the league because of Dynasty, Spitfire, and Excelsior. Also, a hell of a lot of teams have Korean players on them, and we might see Korean-majority matches played depending on substitutions.
You come out of matches as a solo healer with a crushed mouse half the time it's so fucking stressful
You heal your ass off and still get flamed lol
Lul
Guess they had a Seoulo healer then.
I'll let myself out
Johnny Coppinger i liked that HAHA
Can we talk about how Ryujehong an amazing aim (probably one of the best in Overwatch) yet he plays support. Probably one of the most versatile players in OWL and even Overwatch
*maybe he likes playing support?*
Skidward naaaa that can't be it
surely
Arabian_Arya he sometimes flexes onto soldier
I'd love to see his mccree honestly
Aim bots would say he's hacking with his aim tbh
Arabian_Arya it can. Many of my friends say my mccree is good and all, but i just prefer playing ana and zen. Mercy is my least played support and im masters ish. Not trying to self praise, but im saying some people play support witha passion. Having good aim doesnt mean that you must always be a dps player.
God I've missed you
More please!
Underrated TH-camr
Good edit on the video. I liked the fade effect between switching from the VOD to spectate mode. it made it easier to see the difference
Skyline, your videos are AMAZING. Well done. Your insights are on point
This is I want overwatch to be, multi diverse comp, triple dps vs triple tank, or any comp
its so fn to watch, i recently got back into ow, and when you said. really old school tripple tank i was like. but that was what was normal when i left the game
this is the sort of team comp I've only theorized about in numbani since nobody wants to try it lol... :) At 8: 27, dear Skyline has omitted the "coming by behind by the left hand side" in the very last area; nobody is perfect after all.
Can you customise your hero skins in overwatch leagues? That outlaw turret is amazing!
The entire skinset is probably going to be released, sooner rather than later.
th-cam.com/video/rLbdW3z5uQQ/w-d-xo.html
Just speculation though, on my part and the video's. But it's Play Overwatch, so you can be guaranteed it's not total random bs.
What software did you used to create this video? Specially that drawing part thing haha
That's super brilliant
I could use this tactic for solo of duo q on annoying maps like numbani, giblatar, hanamura and horizon against far more coordinated teams
still the best overwatch youtuber
Reinhardt got a new Ult Earthshaker straight from dota2
wut are you talking about?
The Koreans would still win with any comp. I mean theyre just too good tbh
Zion Weise THEYRE UNBEATABLE
I wish I could solo heal
The New York team was actually full of Koreans lmao... Seoul still raped them tho (obviously).
Evenstar yeah I personally think seoul or nyxl will win but most of the matches in the league should be close
Omg the outro song from fareeha! Nice touch :)
I love your videos, only recently subbed but they help so much
how does clockwork compare to other tracer players in owl? just curious
"Patience is not a virtue" -> Clockwork. Cmon, that has to be intentionally ironic.
i thinked in you when i was watching! its funny that i started analysing the game like you say
Sky you should do a video theory crafting team comp for maps
Example-sombra on attack Hollywood first point
Waldowhereis That is a cool idea but hard to do with constant balance changes that leads to huge meta changes.
Also often times, the attacker's team comp are the one reacting to the defender's team comp. Overwatch is a fast pace and possibly ever changing battle. There is a reason why Meta Athena didn't go too far dispite having quite a lot of talents as well as being extremely innovative.

Love how the torb turret has the team on it
Where is the Blizzcon interview ? You still haven't mentioned it as far as i know.
how did u draw on the screen while showing an empty map?
was clutching extra rounds defense on horizon for a draw as bastion. I ult the point, kill the mercy and the mora and start to focus the D.va, but I forgot to touch the point, so we lost even though we could have won, full hold first point. Good to know that pros also C9. Anybody know where that term comes from?
Ryujehong is the best player in the world.
Gracen304epic There are better, in my opinion
MassiveTornado nobody is better than him. He was a dps player that switched to ana and is now the best ana player in the world. He duels dps with ana and wins almost every time. He can play anything and could probably be the best at it. He’s unreal. Not even seagull or sinatraa, effect. None of those guys compare to ryujehong.
Gracen304epic Sayaplayer is better imo
MassiveTornado uh. No. He’s just a good hitscan player that’s all. There is no opinion on something that’s a fact.
Skyline please make a Overwatch Meta Analysis video for the current state of Ranked! Please! Please dude. For your #1 new fan.
What program do you use to draw with!!
Magic
Looking like every quick play game I’m ever in with the no healer strat
Triple tank with dva Winston zarya is still pretty good in match making and it is one of my fav comps to run
Seoul Dynasty are not just the Korean team, there are other Korean teams in this league too.

So yeah, this isnt just THE South Korean team, they are the best of the best Of what South Korea can offer!
Where can I follow the matches?
Korean Comms:
Ryujehong: Fuck it im bored of playing support.
Team: Ok
Viewers:
INSANE 5000IQ COMP
Awesome video!!! Subscribed :]
I would suggest using the overhead map to better represent the different routes attacking teams can take, doing spectator mode panning makes the video feel longer than it needs to be. [edit] once OWL starts you’ll have to differentiate yourself from other analysts.
Best analysis I’ve ever seen
More map mastery please! Could you do a pro player analysis type of thing where you breakdown the habits and skills of pro players.
Where can I watch the matches?
overwatchleage.com
on playoverwatch twitch on jan 10, the preseasonn already ended though it wasnt availible on twitch.
U need to upload more consistent man
great video I like these analysis not common
Who the fuck cares what the SK are doing they KNOW what they're doing and they here to win 😎
I love Houston and I love you Skyline. Thank you ^_^
Question with Jeff?
LA Gladiators did this against London a day earlier than Seoul.
"roadhogs not good" roadhog is the best counter to their entire team, melts both tanks, can 1 shot both supports, can 1 shot soldier and able to catch a tracer
Could always try doing an Orisa vod review. That'd be interesting.
Orisa is my bae, I want him to vod her so bad
Damn Seoul Dynasty has to be the most powerful team to be ever made. Although I belive Flower would be better than Wekeed. Or Effect.
KEEP THEM COMING!
Man, I thought one support was a last ditch effort when your team chooses 5 dps, not a meta
are you actualy back now???!!!!!
These new colours for the teams fuck up my eyes, it's like I'm watching a colour blind vid
11:21 earth.. shaker? ECHOSLAMM
I think in SK children have gaming classes
Cosmedian Gamer No ,it's just in out blood
in n out blood?
I always tell my comp team that soldier is a healer. Kappa
Sawyer Seth hows platinum
It was a joke, I'm actually tank main.
Why do you have to have the D.va?
Can’t wait for league skins
'Cause it was Korean healing level.
Did i get unsubbed from you or did you just stop posting for a couple months?
Why you say Koreans and not just Seoul Dynasty you dont either say the americans and they are also many players in the league?
Lupo Casanova people don’t what that Seoul players are gods but they know Koreans are
yeah, its a weird title. the dynasty is the only korean team in the league though so it's not totally unjustified. tbh the average overwatch player doesn't know any owl teams yet, and definitely doesn't know where seoul is on a map so it's probably to be clearer to the average person
lain Dynasty is not the only all Korean team in the league lmao... Spitfire and Excelsior are also all Korean.
excelsior and spitfire are korean teams
i know where seoul is on a map
Love explanation
I miss hero stacking
I'm waiting for plats to acknowledge torb can be used as a support too lmao. They just call you braindead because he's in the defense category. Sombra situation all over again.
Not JG you can't always copy pro play at lower levels, they can make things work that don't at lower ranks.
Bruce Wayne yeah, I agree to an extent. It just depends if there is communication or not.
Great vid' :)
Love this sky
See, 76 is a support 😂😂
David Warner Yeah, if your not very good at soldier , you might as well play him as a peeler support.
Great video, but man it’s Flet-Ta not fleata
2018 team comp
roadhogs not good?! he's still good for competitive though right?
in some situations
soliD nolliD imo in lower tiers hes really good
IYa you would think pro players could pull off consistent one-shot hooks?
You're back? I thought you died lol
ur voice is SOOO quiet
That Z9 though......
Korean tactics never disappoint.
Because it's ryujehong. That's it.
Because they know the other team is shite, that's why they used 1 support
everytime I watch overwatch esports, I can't help notice how ugly the coloured HUD looks
Kapow Kow I find it beautiful
What are you talking about? They look great!
I know they implemented it to help differentiate the teams, but honestly, the colors make it harder for me to see.
I like how it looks, feel like they could polish it up though.
i just dont like the white, everything else is fine tho
How is this shit interesting? I already solo heal as it is lmao.
gotmllk ? Yes but these people aren't bad
Numbani is one of my two least favorite maps together with Volskaya Industries, not even pros can make them exciting to me.
Numbani is the only map i hate, volskaya is alright for me. Second half of anubis is kinda annoying.
I really can't jig with Junkertown or Horizon
I think you meant HORIZON LUNAR COLONY*
“just kidding!” goo goo ga ga 👶
Seoul has the soul to git gud
#NotSorry
If there are any South Koreans here:
Do you learn how to game in school? XD
Cosmedian Gamer No
Better than nateson
you`re contradicting yourself
Pulse bimb
Like the videos, but potentially better if they were made a bit shorter?
It completely depends on the topic he's covering. There were some VOD reviews he's done that were 5 minutes long.
grandma sters
C9 LUL
:v
There are many non Korean players that are better than them its just the Koreans have better team play and co ordination
so what youre saying is that non Koreans are worse? I agree.
Wyoming as teams yes they lack the synergy but certain solo players are better than Koreans
People in the west grow up playing fps games so they have more mechanical skill. People in the east play more strategy games so they're better at planning and working together. It just looks like teamwork beats mechanical skill
So your saying koreans are better because they are worse?
slightly worse mechanically but far better at team play
Horrible analysis
Because they are Koreans
Really don't like the Koreans in overwatch pro league, they win most of the time, it's boring to watch them win. Horrible opinion I know but I thought I might just say that.
If only South Korea could play themselves, that would be an insane game to watch. Hopefully with the support OWL is bringing to the table for players, NA teams will be able to catch up.
Ashhkier_ I enjoy seeing them every now and then to see a kinda skill ceiling to compare to others
Overwatch League made for top players except no Koreans because someone is always going to bitch
