I would suggest that if you run the cords through the side across the a, b and c pillar to make sure that you do not block the side curtain airbags.

A polarized lens will help with the glare from your widows, you can just add it to you cam.

Does anyone know the difference between this model and the D2 Duo model? Is it just the screen or are there other feature differences?
Thanks for the comment! Looks like they both have the same capabilities. There are two things that are different. One you've already stated which is the screen on the D2 Duo vs no screen on the T6. The other difference is where you plug in each unit for power which may be a choice for someone either way. For some reason I like to have a screen visible, so I'd go with the D2 Duo. Most videos don't even show what it looks like at night. Daytime, it might look good, but when you watch some of the videos of the cameras, you can't see clearly. People don't do night time reviews.

How do you get the sound to record? I have it turned on but is there something I’m not doing to hear recorded voices?
That’s interesting. If you have Sound Recording turned on in the app, it should be recording interior vehicle sounds.

I've researched my butt off and they won't work together. It's just the app that doesn't work. I've found a work around which is great because I really love my camera. They have offered to refund me but I don't want to give it up. Thank you for looking into it for me! ❤

Thanks for the comment! I used my DJI Mini 3 Pro. It’s a lot of fun to fly. I just put it in follow me mode and latched it onto the vehicle, then I drove away and it followed me around. Appreciate that you watched the video!
Does car play interfere because you can’t be hooked to both at the same time?
Thanks for the comment! Yes. Some dash cams do encounter connectivity issues when it comes to interacting with Apple CarPlay. Since CarPlay normally takes control of the driver's phone, there's a chance that it can interfere with the dash cam's app connectivity, booting the phone off the camera Wi-Fi. @@GrayTrend this makes sense as I too was having connection issues because of Android Auto wireless dongle. Do you know if there is a fix for this?
@@Aryck143 Thanks for the comment! What I've been told is to make sure I always download and install the latest software updates to my phone. I understand that's not a direct fix, but that's apparently the world we live in now with all of this new technology. Appreciate that you watched the video!!!

I haven’t had the opportunity to personally review the Focuway T5 dash cam, but from the information I’ve been able to gain from researching the interweb, it seems the T6 is the next generation of the T5 dash cam. At this point I can’t positively inform anyone that the T5 is better or worse than the T6 dash cam. All I can say is that I do know that the T6 dash cam provides a very good front and rear video recording. I do appreciate that you watched the video!
