Guess l live under a rock. I had never heard of The Chosen until the great quarantine of 2020. Binge watched the shows and bought the blue ray discs. Can't wait for season 2!
I have just had an epiphany. My son has been atheist for about 20 years and after seeing this I know that God has his hands on him praise to you Lord Jesus Christ

The wedding episode is my favorite, but every single episode is phenomenal.

Me also I cry every time I see me in her. I was so lost at one point in my life didn't have any hope for anything good I was living in the Darkness. I am so grateful that Jesus waited on me he petition for me he was so caring with me he me call out my name and I ran out of that grave literally LOL thank you Lord Jesus Christ my savior my everything for saving me I'll never be the same..

The Living word connects all of us.

Oh my I literally realized before Morgan even asked that the director is pretty tall considering Paul is already tall. 6'4" is taaalll. Of course he overlooks everything he needs the height 😂😁

I have a bad habit of getting involved with the characters of a movie rather than story. I also will follow certain actors because of the roles they played. I don't believe that's what God wants for me. He wants me to get into His Word and not get distracted because some parts of the stories in " the Chosen" are fiction and how am I going to know that if I don't know read my bible in depth.

High the chosen people, is the story bibically accurate, like if I watched this could I share it to others and not worry about misleading words or incorrect passages or being misinterpreted, I'm sure you've gotten a lot of those questions but I can't seem to find them? I would just like to know before I watch bc I'm really effected by music and movies I like to watch something that is accurate as close as it can get like basically word for word and scene for scene. I think you've done a wonderful job with the scenes I've seen with Matthew but I just want to make sure it is completely accurate. I think this show has a lot of potential and I feel this encouraging want to watch it but at the same time am struggling bc I wonder how much of it is actually from the documented word of God? If it follows a more Catholic following I don't believe in that type of following, it would be great to know, I understand if it can't be answered here and will find an answer some where if I can't here as I know you are probably flooded with comments, ty for seeming to genuinely want to share Jesus though, it is so encouraging with all the garabage that Hollywood can sometime produce to see ppl trying to lead more godly rights and to try to make movies aimed towards pleasing God and not man, amen ❤
Hi hope you found your answer. I've seen all 8 episodes. And besides episode 3, I would say this is one of the best version of the gospel in dramatised video form. Of course there's extrapolations and interpretations. But if you want something "word for word and scene for scene" you should stick to reading the Bible.. in Koine Greek.. which is the original language it was written in (your English Bible translation also has some interpretations/modifications). All the best!

OSAS is false. You can walk away from the Christian walk your relationship with Christ. You can lose your salvation
Once you are truly saved and only God knows, you cannot lose your salvation! I know this is a picky point for many people but there are too many scriptures that verify you cannot lose your salvation once you are saved! Remember only God and you know so we on the outside looking in cannot judge whether a person is saved or not. If they're not we can pray for them we can encourage them, but not judge them saved or unsaved.... John 10:28-29; Romans 8 38 - 39
FIRST COMMANDMENT: Was to multiply and replenish the earth. Christ came to fulfill ALL righteousness and thus he was married so that he could fulfill that commandment. IF he were a guest at the wedding, his MOTHER would NEVER come to him about the lack of wine...so he, being the Bridegroom, was approached and turned those casks of water into wine. Who was the bride? I have a guess, but I'll keep it to myself. :D Just sayin...
I thought the first commandment was from the 10 given to Moses was: You shall have no other God etc

No, in the Garden of Eden you find the very FIRST commandment given to men: Multiply and replenish the earth. Look it up. THEN came all of the other laws. You don’t know Him, He had no ‘earthly’ descendants (read your bible)... and understand He has a bride whom he is coming back for, to snatch away... there is a wedding feast, prepared in Heaven... and His bride will return to rule and reign with Him... I know who she is, but you won’t if you don’t know Him
John 2:2 says Jesus was invited to the wedding- I don't think the Bridegroom would be invited to a wedding jussayin'. Sorry but Jesus was not married. His marriage with the Bride(Church) is what Christians over all the earth will be waiting for.
@@worshipwondernwarfare exactly you are correct and the claim that Jesus was married and had children is just not historical. there's no historical documentation to prove that. Jesus came to fulfill Isaiah prophecy he is the Lamb of God that came to take Away The Sins Of The World God that his purpose. To reconcile God to man. not to come on this Earth and be married and have children individuals really need to be careful saying that I think it's irresponsible and may even be Blasphemous. well it's not for me to judge, God will reveal everything soon. all I know is I'm going to follow the Bible in any other claims that are not historically seen I am going to disregard.
