Biased review. Saying that Astor has less features than Hyryder is a blatant lie. In terms of features, Astor is a clear winner. Coming to the looks and build quality, the Astor feels much more premium. The only place where hyryder wins is the fuel efficiency because of the hybrid technology.
Define bias.
GV/Hyryder has:
Bigger and better screen
Heads up display
Wireless charging
Better stereo
Combination of A- and C-type USBs
Astor/ZS is relatively old car. However, heats ORVMs, AI and A-DAS are differentiators in Astor.

Furthermore, ADAS L2 itself is a game changer feature that no car in this segment offer..If you prefer features like HUD and wireless charging over ADAS than there is nothing more to be discussed and God bless your understanding of "features"..🙏

Astor has a bigger infotainment
A fully digital cluster
Electric seats
Bigger boot
Adas Level 2
Heated ORVM
Blind spot monitoring
Much better build quality and interiors
And as you said in the video astor comes with a invory and black interior too.
Plus again another wrong fact that both have tilt and telescopic steering, astor only has tilt adjustment.
So yea all in all it is a biased comparison.
My uncle booked the Astor and when we test-drove it we really liked it. the build quality is the best part of it and ADAS and all are just awesome.
What about the space and features?

Saying from ❤❤ it's next level in tech , saftey and i felt toyota gas LIGHT DOOR and overall it's less safer ( because it's eventually a MARUTI Not TOYOTA DNA )
Talking about mileage getting 14kmpl mix
16+ highway
10 in city
i have TOP MODEL AUTO at 17 lakh and TOYOTA COST 21.5 lakh
So with that 5 LAKH difference i can EASILY round off ..
And toyota strong hybrid can't give more than 20kmpl in highway
Toyota Hybrid variants are not from Marutthi but Toyota, only the hybrids variants, proof is that hybrid is Toyota's since 1997

The strong hybrid engine of Toyota is only 3 cylinder which disappoints because even mild hybrid variant of Toyota is 4 cylinder
So when you rave strong hybrid engine the engine noise is heard inside the cabin
Now to avoid this issue if you go for mild hybrid variant of Toyota to get the 4 cylinder engine then the overall power delivery is 103 BHP Unlike the better poverdelivery of 115 bhp of a strong hybrid variant
What I mean to comment is that while giving a SUV like look to the Toyota the company should not have compromised on power delivery of engine just for the sake of cost cutting
Toyota can be only appreciated for its mileage oriented nature
MG hectar is a good vehicle for those who's running is from low to moderate
The hybrid in the world means a family car, not a performance or high rev car. Prius is like 20 years plus running module is the Hyryder. For High rev, 4 cylinder car there are brands which can do but not hybrids in this quality. Myself am trying to choose in-between manual 4 engine petrol car or hyryder hybrid. Long term 15-20 years mindset

What’s the waiting period?
@@JagranHiTech I got it in 5 months. Now it's approx 10 months. If any cancellation you may get instant. Self charging , one full tank can go approx 1300kms and if battery gets damaged after warranty will cost 1.5 to 2 lacs whereas EV battery costs 8 lacs approx. And India is not meant for Adas feature 😅. After all it's Toyota low maintenance with reliability.
@Jagran HiTech - Auto & Personal Tech Let me tell you one thing If you see the Quality of material used Astor is far far better car...and Hyrider is not Toyota it is Toyota badged Maruti that too with same material used in swift or alto or baleno - very cheap ...the hyryder back is made of cheap plastic and fiber no metal used .... The hyrider has only 1 thing made by Toyota that is hybrid engine I believe that should be the only reason of buying this otherwise astor is class Apart.
Hyryder has best handling in the segment. Power figures not so good in the segment, but best in segment mileage. Safety wise, both the cars are not tested yet. MG goes 1 point more for ADAS. But clearly Toyota seems to be the winner when it comes to a breakthrough Hybrid technology.
@@asap8368 yes so far it surpasses the driving confidence and high speed handling, surprisingly. I would say suzuki and Toyota has done well job there. However, Germans twins are really good in acceleration and smoothness. Koreans twins have degraded in last few years.

What about the interior space of the VW and Skoda?
@@JagranHiTech better than all in the segment, thanks to the higher wheel base. Vw and skoda has much euro look and feel and the color combination of upholstery makes it more roomy.
Astor is better.
Instead of buying this midsized suv's , you can buy a real suv king scorpio n in this prize range of 16-20 lakhs
Nothing beats old diesel brezza the rocket goes at 130 kmph smoothly on highway giving 17 milage . No such vehicle is available today. Also Ecosport diesel. We have no such fantastic vehicles now to run.
That old Maruti multijet was a bomb to drive

@@milamilan8 If driven sensibly on Highway per MID it was 20 and in city with normal traffic per MID 14.5 I have found ao far. In heavy traffic its 10 11 on MiD. Ac on lowest setting.
