I really like your reviews and think you put in a lot of effort. I do however get the feel that these companies are getting the better of people like you who do honest reviews by stopping you from revealing certain key figures because you get early access to the cars and are then bound by contracts. You guys started these channels to help us and hence u guys get our support. A similar thing has happened with mobile reviewers and they have fought back...just some food for thought not anything specific for MotorOctane ..please let me know if am wrong and if we can help..there was something weird about what MG was willing to reveal at their launch which makes us suspicious of the manner in which things are done!

Astor Turbo engine is so good, I have taken a test drive the performance and the torque you'll get is wow!! Also the features, the AI part is amazing 🤘I prefer Astor over Creta.

Creta cant seat 5 people comfortably, the center portion of the seat is raised whilst providing side bolstering for window passengers. This causes extreme discomfort for any sitting in the center.

It depends on the variant as well. Astor CVT and Creta CVT will give you similar average. Both have similar power figures, similar weight. MG build quality is much better.

Agreed. Nowadays, every channel says about features 🙄. Discuss about pure anesthetic of engine specifications, 4 cylinders or cost cutting 3 cylinders. Safety "features " and build quality. Fit finish, comfort, after sales service. Rest is just lipstick and mascara.

I personally drove both the cars, Astor is a clear winner by some margin across all the deprtments like comfort, safety, build quality, mileage, ride and even the warranty (5yrs for Astor vs 3yrs for Creta)..as for Creta, its just one overhyped car, doesn't come anywhere near to the astor in terms of safety and build quality..I am talking about the petrol one here

I have booked a top diesel model, but their are news about 2022 facelift of creata, so is it worthy to wait for that car to launch in Indian market or should I go with SX O model. I have booked it in July and they have given me 7 months waiting period.

It all boils down to price and VFM finally n Astor is a winner here.for resale, it won't matter if one keeps a car for 6-7 years. lack of diesel option is also not a concern as scrap policy for 10 years for diesel is on the cards for pan India and for metropolitan cities it's already implemented , reducing resale values further to a great extent
Pls tell us build quality, interior and phandling rather than only feature, feature can not be the main part all is important whether it's driver car or not.

Please make complete drive review not the media review. Delivery of Astor had started please a review all variants most importantly of manual transmission. Their are many videos about dimensions & specifications but there is no video regarding drive review in real life usage.

Aster is fully equipped with latest technology hence, value for money. Creta too is popular car but features wise Aster is better option with fairly priced car.

@@devyadav3273 It is owned by Chinese SAIC Motors. I have worked in the Software Development team of SAIC project (@Robert Bosch) and I can tell you that the software quality is shit. Comparatively, the Volkswagon and Nissan software is of top quality as the best engineers work here and the processes and designs are very well designed. All chinese projects on the other hand are just very quickly developed by average engineers with low focus of quality.

Ik ki Astor is safer than creta but mind it creta much safer than Seltos see the detailed base variant comparison in any website of Seltos hte and creta e. See grand i10 nios scored 2 stars and Seltos managed to get 3 by just 0.08 points it means Seltos and grand i10 nios have same level safety but I don't think Hyundai will offer same level safety in grand i10 nios and creta. Creta is 400-500 kg heavier also diff platform than i10 nios Even from Seltos creta is 100kg heavier Seltos's kerb weight is 1250kg and creta's is 1367 so it proves creta Is much safer than Seltos!
