there is an enemy drop muresmasa blade in the city, you have to go the alleyway, that is nearby the bees and lmg robotic and you want to turn left and find alleyway of between the building. there will be 1 spawn in because they are flipping lazy add ton of sword people. The green blade you have go dungeon for it, don't ask which dungeon because I lost track which one it was.
All the swords I've come across are pretty consistent: Letter indicating length, the difference in length between swords is minor and not worth worrying about in my opinion Number indicating colour 2 - Red 4 - Purple 9 - Blue For example, Masamune G4 or Kikuichimonji F9 (my preferred sword)
One more sword variant we can actually have would be Death guns “Galactic Estoc” when you beat the game with the true ending the final boss can drop this weapon. It could show up as an “Unappraised Sword” like it did for me but the only way to farm the boss is by hard resetting the game by closing it completely after killing the boss then redoing the mission over :D I’m still unaware if we can change the color of the whole sword but once I find out I’ll update this post!!
Issei For the record, as far as I know, the Galactic Estoc only appears as an Unappraised Sword. What I do want to know, though, is if it can be upgraded to Rank 7. I got it by completing the True Ending on Normal Mode and got it up to a Rank 6, but I can't seem to upgrade it further. And it's not because I don't have materials or anything. The item simply doesn't appear on the list of upgradable items. Do you know if I can circumvent this in some way to get the Estoc to Rank 7?

Dankgito I have that sword and it is quite strong only downside being the rarity is random but overall its decent for now until something else comes up.
Been playing since launch and I absolutely love my green crit blade it's become a personal staple in my arsenal and now it's what i use the whole time.
There's a really nice tip I have for you if you want to make a video on it. The shop that sells weapons, if you exit it and open it back up it will change the rarity of the weapon, but not the actual weapons. So if you have a weapon you want from there but it doesn't sell the rarity you want, you can close the shop and open it back up and it'll give you a different rarity than before of the same weapon.

for any one trying to claim they have green /yellow/pink. colored blades . that are rank 7 . Or even some who say it's legendary ... LOL I'd live to see proof . as they are just item pack items . that don't actually drop from anything that I'm aware of .
Mine is pink when I wield it too no joke that how I know it pink because I put a purple one on on afs unit and the pink one on my character to see it should have been red to see the difference it litterly pink

I got a tip for farming legendary sword. Fast travel to Subway B Depths then back out into the portal, kill the heavy facsimile then run back to the portal, repeat.
you can also get them from your Arfa-Sys if you set them to buy weapons i got a Masamune G2 rank 7 this way well playing on extreme mode. I don't know if it matters but i have mine set to spend freely and made sure she had $1,000,000 or more for her allowance, good to have going in the background (i probably got lucky though)
Treo PL In other character's case, they can change/upgrade weapon according to their level. For your character, in normal mode you can only get 2 colors of photon blade which is blue(9) and purple(4), once you enter exteme you can get a photon red(2) purple blade. ex: Kikuichimonji F2 = Red Kikuichimonji F4 = Purple Kikuichimonji F9 = Blue there's also the Masamune variant.
I also love photon blade I like a sky blue photon sword, but in my Fatal Bullet I just call it lightsabers because photon sword makes me feel like somebody forgot Star Wars,I hope you understand? ohh and in my Fatal Bullet I specialized with dual-guns which are two fn-five sevens and a blue lightsaber I feel like a Jedi!
I just grind that Berserker just fast travel to entrance 58 times after defeating him you will get that legendary green eventually cause i did got the G3 red photon blade
Mythical Destroyer Actually, that's not entirely true. Have you ever noticed that all the Photon Blades in the game have a letter and a number at the end of their name? The number marks the color of the sword. For example, in a Kagemitsu G4, the 4 would be the color, which is purple in this particular weapon. I haven't actually memorized the number-color pattern, but I should be able to write it back to you once I get to a shop and see it. One thing is certain: each sword is programmed to have only a few specific color variations. Continuing from our previous example, this means that a Kagemitsu can only be purple (G4), green and, I think, red, and each color has its own number associated to it. Another detail worthy of mentioning is that there're no two different sword types sharing a color variation. As a final example, a Muramasa F won't have an F4 (purple) variation because there's already a Kagemitsu G with a purple variation (G4). I know this is a lot to take in, but I hope it helps!

i saw a youtuber that was just doing a quest to get arfa-sys parts and then fought a boss and got a legendary photon sword

The rank 7 swords you can buy from the vendor also include a blue and orange blade.

just kill the last boss on extreme mode which drops the best photon sword anyway killing it on normal mode gives you the death gun sword.
