At the moments when I think of the thousands of hands I have held, and whispered in their ear it's OK to go, we will all go. As a nurse, as someone passed. Or the times I have held a patient, as they suffered through the pain of our treatments, to no good outcome. When my PTSD catches up with me late at night from 20 some years of caring. I put on this song and turn it up till the neighbors complain. Any version, any band, and cry myself back to sleep.

To this day I still listen to the The Band at least monthly. They defined the 60's an 70's.
Mermans Mosengo is easily one of my top 5 singers. Love this guy. RIP Robbie.
This is just phenomenal. What talent - could listen to you guys all day. Lets hope when Robbie knocked on the door he found a welcome. This is certainly my favourite cover of this Dylan classic. The last verse sung in a tongue I am not familiar with was beautiful. Thank you all so much for sharing this with the world.

Robbie was one of the greats. The Band in my view the greatest band ever, their music was far ahead of its time. RIP

I graduated high school in ‘77 and this was our Proms theme song and decorated accordingly. 😊 Great song and wonderful tribute to Robbie.

The Band was definitely THE BAND not just to accompany Bob Dylan but in fact to be part of the miracle happening and make it shine. Robbie’s incomparable guitar playing was a central element of it.
