I'm the same way. I work full time and constantly procrastinate when it comes to crafting. I keep a book with projects as I get inspired and barely ever get to any of them. I told myself this year I'm going to follow through and do something each day. Saturday I painted some cups/tumbers. Sunday I applied the printed vinyl. Tonight I painted the accents. Tomorrow I'll apply the glitter. Etc, etc until they're done. No coming up with another project. Finish what I started before moving on to the next project. Good luck to you and sticking to your plan as well!
