Great Review. There's very little content out there about this UK version of the bike (loads on the mini moto US version) so thanks for making it. I've got one of these. Same colours (I think its well worth the extra £200 for the green frame). Have had it 9 months now. Ridden from the south to Edinburgh and back on it (slowly!) with no issues. Punches well above it's weight. Riding position and stability means you dont crap yourself on the motorways. Holds the wind well. I've got a Versys 650 and for pure convenience and fun it hardly gets used for anything other than long journeys or unless I need to carry kit anymore. I'm a similar build to the reviewer and never feel like I'm riding a hamster. Fabulous for chucking it about town and short commutes but will do the job if you find yourself needing to take it further. Brilliant bike. Which is why mine got nicked (and found and returned) so lock the bugger up EVERY TIME. One thing - the stock chain is made of chocolate. Change it immediately for an after market.
I own one of these currently, and i love it, i weigh 65 kg (10 1/2 stone old money) i can easily get it to 70, but it does a rev limiter which cuts in at 73mph. I find its not bad on fuel around 150 miles on a tank roughly 85-90mpg around town and short commuting, so might be better on a run. doesnt rust like a chinese bike and better finished in general. i enjoy it every time i ride it which is what its all about, when you look for any excuse to ride it, its a good bike.
I did my cbt on this bike, really comfortable and a great experience for a first timer to bikes. Been shopping for my first bike and apart from being biased, the four year warranty is a nice bonus from Kawasaki. Enjoyed the video, keep it up! 👍
Good review, enjoyed it. I don't want a 125cc as i have a little scooter SH300 but i still like to watch the reviews. Its a shame kids don't get into them more, i get the roads are busy but around the city's they would be fine, shame they don't have a 150/160cc limit like a lot of Asian country's i think that would be the sweet spot for acceptable performance and good MPG
ive got one of these just now, i agree the arrow exhaust with the performance edition sounds alot better but it is a wonderful bike, can struggle to put power down on steep hills or really strong headwinds but can comfortable city ride and sit 55-60mph no problem. and its just fun :D as requested in vid, top speed ever reached was 67mph, though admittedly it was a steep downhill 😂😂
The speed goes up slow as compared to other 125ccs because others have normal speedometer and this one has a GPS speedometer which provides the most accurate speed.
Right there with you on "all muscle" even did two sets of 20 pushups the other day, my Versys x300 seems to fit my 6'7" size ok, this one maybe not. \The 125 learned on was a Sanyang 125 classic looking moto in Taipei long ago 1990-1993
nice little bikes and so true regarding rider weight, many people often forget that and complain their bike isn't hitting 60mph or struggles! as an example I'm 65kg and can get my little grom upto 65mph - 70 if I really push it! with my old sinnis cafe it would get upto similar, 60-65mph quite easily but a friend of mine, bit on the heavier side really struggles to get his hoodlum past 50-55mph!
Very similar and comparable to the gsxs. Both good options. The GSXR however just looks much better in my opinion. I don’t think there would be much difference in performance though.

Great bikes. Will go forever if looked after. Ride safe 😎

That’s the main thing. If you enjoy it then you made a good choice 👍

Thank you 😁
Cognitive behavioral therapy on that thing must be awesome.

My lad is 22 and looked at getting a 125 but the insurance is way to high.
I agree. A 150 would make it a little bit more capable for the fast roads and will stop you holding up cars.
@aeron-mw7ofs insurance is ridiculous at the moment. It’s certainly putting off the younger riders.
Currently waiting on a brand new one being delivered so excited
Exciting times. I love new bike day. Hopefully it won’t take too long to arrive. 😁
Best motorbike channel.
Iv got a z 125. Had it for about a month and I absolutely love it. It’s got proper character to it, rides lovely
They really do. Thanks for sharing and ride safe 😁

Over 60 is always good. Anything after that is a bonus. 👍

Does it still work if you're in a tunnel? Because GPS will cut out as it requires a view of the sky.

6”7 🤯. Good to see you still riding after all this time. I started in 94 and I’m still loving it. You can’t beat it for a bit of stress relief.
I like that better than the mini z125 here in the U.S.

It’s a common complaint from bigger guys about bikes not getting near the speed they expected. When someone else can go 10mph faster on theirs.
This one looks different than the one in my website z125pro the seat is connected and the exhaust is small what model is his one in usa ?
I like the 600 version
These appear to be good well built bikes right through all the different engine sizes.
This or the Suzuki GSXS(R) 125?

@@GillyBikes thanks a lot 👍🏻
Not available in india🥲
That’s a shame.
14.8HP ouch! , my bike is learner legal and at peak outputs 49BHP!
49bhp is not even A2 legal, let alone learner legal.
@@IndigoJo read up on the legislation, my bike is a zero s 11kw peak of 49bhp
@@IndigoJo electric machines are rated on continuous power not max, could be 100bhp and still be learner legal if it's 11kw continuous
