His autism played to his advantage there. Because he didn't see her reluctance, he powered through, forcing Lea to leave Steve for the night. An empathetic person would have backed down, and their relationship would be put on the back burner again in favour of caring for Steve.

Sadly, the show ended on May 21st of this year. The producers and writers decided that it was time to end it for reasons. I just be rewatching it on Hulu. It has all the seasons on there❤
