Thank you Tina for this fabulous idea, they are so cute and I can think of lots of different ways in which to use them. Double sided tape is fiddly, but works much better than the glue when it comes to transparencies and acetate. Thank you for sharing with us everyday, you are a joy to be with. Hi Tina, these are great using an oval punch. I haven’t made any slides because I don’t have a square or a rectangle punch. I never thought to use the oval punch, which I do have 😊.
I had to laugh when you were cutting the double sided tape and lining up the small pieces on your fingers. I do the same thing. If I need a lot of small pieces I try to fit as many as I can on my fingers 😂.
These are so cute!! Hugs 🤗

these are lovely.. I've collected , as they say across the pond (I'm in Montana..), bits and bobs, to try my hand at making journals, gift tags, bookmarks.. so far that's all I've done.. =P =)
I'm wondering if glue stix would work rather than liquid glue, then sewing around the outside edge? I remembered about some adhesive tabs I got in a bag at a thrift shop, which would work, I think, to tack down the transparency bits?!.. thank you for the relaxing sounds- the snip of scissors and crunch of paper- I just had another idea-- these could be covers for mini journals/notepads-- do you or any of your viewers have any suggestions? thanks again! God bless you and yours and everyone who passes by!
P.S. a heart punch would be cute too..

Love these specimen slides. Totally off the subject, is there a story to the rings you wear? I love earrings and wear them everyday, just have to have a pair on or I don't feel dressed. I have a ton of Christmas earrings too and wear a different pair everyday after Thanksgiving. Just curious if there was a story or do you just love to wear different rings? Hi Tina! I have some silly questions that I hope u didn't cover in the video. I'm at work, so I have limited time to watch. Would love to try these, but want to ask before I forget lol.
I know u say you don't measure, but would u guess that your squares are around 2×2? I like the size you are making them. Also you show some printing on transparency paper. Do you get that from Amazon? And have you done a tutorial on how to print on transparency paper?
Thank you! Love your channel and watching you craft! I am learning so much! Take care 🙂

Thank you so much. I still haven't measured the slides themselves, but yes I would say approx 2x2 inch (only slightly taller, maybe 2.2 inch in height). Yes I got my transparency film on Amazon, just search transparency for inkjet printer. Much love x

    Hi Tina,
What kind of acetate or clear sheet is it that you can print on? And did you do it through a regular printer? Or did you stamp on it?

These are adorable tyfs .... what kind of printer do you own that prints on acetate or is it rougher on one side.I tried with my Pixma Cannon printer and the ink just comes off.

I first thought, why is she punching through both pieces of folded paper? Then saw what you were intending to do with them. For me, I'm going to punch an oval through one side of the folded paper, glue down three sides of the paper so I can slide a photo inside, then glue some accetate inside and decorate outside. Should be cute as yours in the end.

I love the idea of the slides, but why do you tape the transparent film down on both sides? One side would do, then fold and glue it together. Cut your time and fussiness way down.
