Great video guys! Nick is the Sydney version of “Mark Weins” when he tastes the food. Love the reviews! Helping me and my family discover so many new places in Sydney 😄
You guys definitely stretched that $20!! And so impressive that it includes hot meals, snacks, dessert (excl boba lol)! It's so easy to splurge on food, but these cheap eat challenges are so exciting!
Omg Mappen!! Peter’s favourite cheap eats in Sydney, I think it’s the reason why he went to Sydney twice last time lolll. So good to see they still open 👍🏻 Our fave is the bukkake ontama mentaiko, so good!! 😍
I love when your do the challenges you really found some great places ..I love the emperor puffs always a great place to stop at ..Great video Helmi and Nick ..x💕🥰❤️
I don't think I have seen Aus bills before! Udon is always a great option, especially for that price. Oh my god, that is heavy rain for sure...we were talking the other day that we haven't seen rain like that in a long time. Great option for a rainy day Helmi!
Yall managed to do really well finding these cheap spots in Sydney. Great variety and though some of the portions are a lil smaller like the Japanese mini bowl the Thai place is a gem of a place. Full meal for so cheap that's value! The rain in Australia is just ridiculous right now take care guys heard its getting worse. Don't think $20 will get you very far in Auckland T_T pies only lol.
Singapore famous pork and Oiden are my faves! Man i miss Bak Kwah!!! I didnt get to have Bee Cheng Hiang in Singapore airport as it was closed :( Singapore Famous pork is the only place that i know that has bak kwah fresh…could be wrong though!
Been to some and loved all the food you featured here. Where is that boat noodle place again? We just went to Mother Chu yesterday for lunch as I miss my Taiwanese breakfast dishes 🥰 Have you tried the oyster omelette and the glutinous rice roll there?
Hey joanna it's Chon Siam in Campbell St, a bit further down from World Sq. Yup, we've tried the oyster omelette & rice roll🙌🏻 just over the budget for this episode🤣
This is such a good idea actually, trying to spend $20 to buy food. Not sure if we can achieve that here lol.. might be possible.. 😄 I like that rice meal with the tempura flakes and egg!
Yumm that bowl of thai boat noodle 👌🏻 I also don’t like blood like you Helmi but I can eat this soup 🤤 Haha omg 50c emperor’s puff, I think last time we went to Sydney it was like 20c? 😆
Yes, 7-eleven! sponsor Nick and Helmi!! By the way, 7-eleven in the US is not good at all. We can't wait to visit that part of the world to experience it, especially in Japan!
Try $20 in Newtown. Now that's a real challenge! :) Have you done $20 challenge in Cabra too? That one's probably easier. But yeah, Newtown should be a proper challenge.
$20 at Mango Coco🍧 would have made your day Helmi 😄 Here's a challenge for you guys, do you think it would be possible to eat free in Syd or any suburb for a day?
Stay 'till the end to see whether we were under or over $20 budget🤑 Blooper included 😉
you like balls helmi :)

That boat noodle soup looks like a winner. But wow that inflation is real from $2-$5! The pork blood broth is good stuff

wondering if the beef jerky is halal?
Sorry we aren't sure! Need to check with the shop owner ;)
I'm always so surprised how much you can get so much for 20AUD! In the UK that wouldn't get you very far unfortunately 😢
I’ve lived in Sydney my whole life and even I didn’t know you could find anything this cheap, it’s totally crazy!
haha nothing wrong with 7-11 coffee.. I buy it too! Mm cream puff! I cannot buy anything for 30 cents here.. I'll save it for somebody's tip jar lol..
Hahaha so true🙂
