Welcome to the "WWII History & Reenacting" TH-cam channel!
The main focus of this channel is primarily military history, mainly within the second world war (WW2) timeframe. The channel features various content, such as videos on metal detecting, magnet fishing, exploring and visiting historical sites, collecting militaria, reenactment, restoration etc. I'm a WW2 reenactor/living history enthusiast and many of my videos feature tutorials, kit reviews, reenactment footage and information about the hobby. I mainly portray the German side within the timeframe. Collecting militaria is a huge part of my life. Unboxing videos, collectible presentations, and collecting tips, as well as metal detecting and relic hunting are also typical videos on the channel.
This channel is strictly non-political and my videos are meant to be fun, educational, and informative
Enjoy!

I love your work! I'd never paid so much attention to the German field-kitchens until your videos crossed my path :) Greetings from Canada!
Very calming voice, I was just relaxing while consuming interesting knowledge. Good video as usual.
Thank you so much - I really appreciate it! 😊😊😊
Been a while. So great to see you back in action again!
Thank you! So glad you think so! Many more videos coming 😊
Therapy and education all in one. My blood pressure thanks you sir 🫡✌️
Great channel! Keep making more
Thank you! 😊😊
love the attention to details
Thank you! I'm happy to hear that! 😊
The photographs are great.
Thanks! 😊😊
These unboxing + history lesson videos are probably my favourites. It's quite easy to find information about battles, tank, weapons and whatnot, but if you want to learn about the ordinary day-to-day operations in the background you have to go to passionate historians and/or collectors such as you. A pleasure as always!
Thank you so much for the positive feedback Bruce - I really do appreciate it! 😊👍 Generally your average professional historian appears to have great knowledge about the bigger picture, but not so much with regards to the smallest details. I've lernt so much more interesting stuff from fellow collectors and hobby historians who have dedicated themselves to specific subjects than I've learnt from any professional "big picture" historian - and more often than not I find they have very little knowledge or even missinformation about certain nische subjects 🤔 thank you so much for watching and your kind words! Best regards from Norway 🇧🇻😊
Very cool 👍😎
Quite the variety of goodies!
Photographs are so revealing with details....
Thank you so much John! ☺️ Yes, that's why I love original photos so much - there is so much to learn and information and details to be found ☺️ Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! Best regards from Norway 🇧🇻
Heck yeah! Awesome stuff man!
Thank you! 😊😊
Really cool to see those pictures, and the porcelain!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the items 😊😊
always love another upload!!
Thank you! Happy to hear that! 😊😊
GREAT unboxing.
👍
Thank you - I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 😊
I am very happy I found this channel. I have been collecting since the late 1970's and re-enacting since 1988. I recently bought an amazing Erel Gendarmerie Polizei Tschako size 58. I have a few videos posted of re-enacting over the years.
In Deutschen kameradschaft.
I'm glad you found my channel - welcome! 👍😊 That Tschako sounds very nice! Happy to see another fellow re-enactor and collector on TH-cam! Best regards from Norway 🇧🇻😊👍
Nice video
Thanks! 😊
This showed up on my fyp. Love to see this stuff. New subscriber!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 😊😊
Second text:
"Hier die letzte drollige Karte dieser Serie mit vielen herzl(ichen) Grüßen und Küssen für unseren Jungen
von seinem Papa.
29.4.44."
Transl.: Here the last funny card of this row with many heartily greetings and kisses for our boy
from his Dad.
29th of april, 1944.
Thank you so much for taking the time to help me with this - I really really appreciate that! 😊😊😊
@@ww2historyandreenacting My pleasure!
God damn, thats so sad!!
For me its the große Feldküche Hf. 11 modified with Hf. 13 stuff
I hear you... but its missing half the kitchen compartments for a large field kitchen (its in a Hf.12/14 configuration), and the front compartments appear to be to big - more like the Hf.12/14. This kitchen sure is a mystery 😅 Bu thanks for your opinion and comment! Best regards from Norway! 😊
I wanted to ask this for years but in your intro is that big gun implacement something the Germans built or was that like a captured Norwegian fortification that was utilized by the occupation troops
The fortifications and the large gun in the intro were built by the Germans during the second World War 😊👍 If you want to get a closer look at the gun - check out my channel page, I recently posted a video featuring this gun in operation! 😊 Best regards from Norway 🇧🇻
Omg thought you were out of the hobby...its been forever since u posted
Where can i buy the Norwigian M 1914 uniform?
Original or reproduction? 😊
@@ww2historyandreenacting both?
@@ZzLiam Originals is mainly through collectors in Norway, but "Military Harbor" has reproductions 😊
@@ww2historyandreenacting Okei tusen takk for hjelp
@@ZzLiam bare hyggelig 😊👍 sjekk ut finn for originale 👍
I‘m the first one🎉😂
😊😊😊
Kjøper du det?
Hva tenker du på da? Tallerkene har jeg kjøpt av en annen samler og bildene fra forskjellige utlanske forhandlere 😊
First text, "Brotzeln" ( correctly "brutzeln"), has nothing to do with "making bread"; but is a funny word for kind of low level cooking, f.e. frying/roasting potatoes to prepare "Bratkartoffeln". This word is also used to describe boiling fat, forming bubbles and spitting drops of hot fat.
Thank you so much again! 😊 I can't believe I missed that word 😅 Best regards from Norway! 😊
