- This historical nazi era landfill In Berlin is the gift that keeps on giving.
We have been here a few times and this place is always good for a few exciting finds from Germany's dark past. It could well be that Hitler's gold was simply tossed out and ended up on this nazi era landfill. The Video comes with subtitles in multiple languages for your viewing pleasure, so be sure to pick your language of choice.

FAQ:
-Do you report things found to the authorities?
Yes, all nasty things found like UXO's and finds that could be important from an archaeology perspective are reported to the local authorities.
-Do you sell finds?
I am a collector myself so I hardly sell relics. But if I do then I'll post it on the social media pages or check out my Patron's website. I share finds with my Patrons (check the Patreon website for more details).
-How do you gain permission for metal detecting?
Check out local laws regarding metal detecting and get permission from the landowner. Or hook up with a local metal detecting club in the area you would like to detect and get your information from them. (I stopped responding to questions like this all together, I'm Iron Mike not Google Mike..)
-Can I come with you?
No.
-Do you love me?
Yes I do!
-Will you marry me?
No, lets just be friends.
-I want to see more!
Go check out the social media pages, or consider becoming a Patron! Patrons have access to much more, special videos, behind the scenes footage and WW2 goodie boxes containing relics me and my friends found over the years.
-What metal detector do you use?
The Garrett Ace Apex or the Garrett AT Max.
-Camera?
Go Pro 7, Go Pro 10 and a Sony handy cam
-Favorite find?
Whatever the soil is willing to share with me. But would love to hear what your favorite find in all of the videos is.
-What is on your bucket list?
Hitler's lost gold or the missing Nazi gold train everybody is searching for. But until then I am happy with whatever pops up, I even enjoy finding landmines... :-s

Hi Mike my husband would like to know if you or Raoul would be willing to sell that Coca Cola bottle to a collector? He'd love to add it to his collection.
Hi! If you have an instagram account, just ask him. The link to his IG is in the description.
@@IronMikeMetaldetecting I have sent the ask thank you Mike for your great vids and responding to my question. My husband says congrats on your first bottle he's very jealous :)
that bun probably got carbonized in a bombing firestorm similar to how bread got carbonized in pompey when vesuvious blew up.
The green not to be taken bottle most likely contained iodine since it was found in a ww2 dump. It’s highly collectible.
I would love to know how those shells ended up in a forest in Berlin. I always thought that the dump sites were strictly military, but this one seems to have items that more typically would have been in civilian homes.
Thank you Mike, and Rene, and Jeff, for bringing a little bit more history to life and for rescuing these artifacts. Thank you for another great video.
Dude, I saw that bottle Opekta. Otto Frank was head of the Dutch operation for this company.
I have one of these bottles and its very atmospheric

A day I'll go to Poland. Near Wroclaw, where
I met my wife, and I'll start to search for something interesting. I know a place where germans left many things in 1945...it's near an old house near the old apartment of my wife....in Berlin I know where are you searching. Think that after WWII, the city in ruin was simply cleaned im this way. There you can find a lot of part of houses or shops. Unfortunately, many beautiful places were lost forever, and with them, the old beautiful ceramics and items...there you can find bottles, books, weapons, helmets, knives and toys too...
go to dig on your countrys land
Hi,where they digging?
@@user-sz4sb8yt9h I think that is in the Teufelsberg area. It's an area around a Trümmenberg (a not natural hill, created by moving 75 million m3 of debris from Berlin. It's in the Grunewald locality of former West Berlin.
@@walsch80 thanks,me digger with metal detektor Nea Hauketo(Norway)old city,Nea can find Viking hous-stops
@user-sz4sb8yt9h All german cities have a Trümmenberg. Another interesting one is in Stuttgart. It was a beautiful city, unfortunately now completely lost. In Birkenkopf, Monte Scherbelino, you can see and find the old marms from the old fassade's houses. I don't know if it's allowed there the relics research.
Fantastic video and always look forward to new ones.
Tolles video!! Great finds, thank you for another excellent adventure🫡
Iron mike video coming, definitely time for a OHHHHH YESSSS 🙌 so interested to watch and see things we never new existed and love to see the personal items can't wait keep it up 🙌
🥰
That big shell is the most expensive thing that was found.
Great video Mike, some amazing finds👌👍😀
At 7:30 it's Eupen in Belgium I think
Great video, great finds. Cheers from North Florida USA
Been waiting all day for the video 🤩
Opekta was for making jam. I recall that Otto Frank, father of Anne Frank, was trading for Opekta (in Amsterdam).
I recall that he mentioned that in the video.
Great video !! Great finds !! And a hot lunch at the dig site. Very cool. Hello from Colorado, USA
The potato 🥔 was gold 😂 was dying when he tossed it
Love to come digging with you guys. You find some cool stuff.
Hi Mike , about time You made the Video !!!!!🤝👍😎
Just had to sub. Good stuff brother.
Thanks! Appreciate that ☺️
@@IronMikeMetaldetecting You're welcome Sir.
I have always wondered where the rubble from the bombings was put, should be some interesting stuff to be found.
Teufelsberg
Theres a beach near Liverpool where the rubble from the bombing was taken. Theres a lot of bricks obviously, but some amazing stonework and tons of linoleum flooring and glass galore. But also things like old ceramic fuses.
Great video mike lots of great fines question mike what were the glass battery use for never seen them before and also glass granades what year were they in stay safe my friend say hi to the other team lads 👍👍🙏🏼🙏🏼
thank you Maurok!
Very cool as always.👍
(yes i already commented something similar ) i was in berlin for week and got back yesterday could it be that this is on the "Teufels Berg"?

amazing finds !!
Love this kind of staff.. awesome historical place of the german capital
I plan on moving to Germany just to dig every day so I can get expensive relics like yall.
Powodzenia 😊
Think your mesh may be too wide on your sifter. Just think of, possibly, the tiniest gem stones from broken jewellery shaken loose from their settings, falling through with that rich fine dirt.
Is it a bomb damage dump or a normal civvy use rubbish dump??
Reminds of bottle dump digging here in UK. All dug holes in filled before you leave, etc
The "NOT TO BE TAKEN" bottle is usually was a poison bottle. Exist in green and blue colors mostly.
Hello 😊
Amazing Hunts! Congratulations ❗ 🎊 👏
So many wonderful treasures!!! Thank you all.
thank you for dropping by! :-)
What a great video
Would you be willing to translate some of the sayings on the badges and stuff for us English speaking viewers, I am interested in hearing about what some of it all means. Love your channel, Such History is great to be uncovered.
Some good finds 👍
Round ball. Sweep it with a Geiger counter. If it was a prepared isotope it's probably decayed away, Be careful.
Wow !!!! What finds !!! 💙💙💙💙👊👊👊👊
This ball is probably a secretary, a reiquary with a fragment of the Bible...
C est touchant tout ses objets.
14:33 it's from the Reichsbahn. BW means
Bahnbetriebswerk = Train repair shop/ station
Leuke video weer Mike ❤
Und wieder kein Bernsteinzimmer gefunden ;-)
No Bernsteinzimmer was found. What a pitty ;-)
Looks like a pre-war dump site . Strange the 45 Coke bottle and the American bottle.
Do you sell your finds online?
Thanks!
Hey Mike, thanks for the superthanks! much appreciated! I’ll have one on you tonight 🍺
Interessante
Super Video..Lg08
4:26 What is it? I'm also curious.
That looks like a Conch shell....they originate from the coast of Florida .....Bahamas....Jamaca...etc.....
Kind of, it looks a bit different from the ones we get out here in Hawaii.
Nice❤
Caution: The heavy ball that opens and contains something in the middle could be a container for radioactive material and the solid ball is the radiation shield. Especially if the bullet is also made of lead. Maybe for scientific purposes or for teaching purposes. Or possibly in medicine.

Good thing we reburied that thing there then. Thanks for the headsup.
Eupen is in belgium now ;)
is this accesable to the puplic or do you have to have a permission to go there 😅
Darf man denn einfach so Löcher graben?
After 4 or 5 words of "English", I KNEW IT.... Hollanders :)
And of course, they clean up nature for free and donate everything to museums, right ?
Eupen is a Belgium city
Ooof…I wonder ow many “undesirables “ that whistle was blown on, to alert the authorities ….yucch.
Put it to your ear and hear the sea!
Mike EUPEN is not a city in Germany is a city in east of Belgium but that a great video
I realised that after recording. But at some point it was a German city 😉
@@IronMikeMetaldetecting yeah of course the east of Belgium is from the ww1 is a bit like the Alsace-Lorraine

As someone who took just a limited number of college archaeology classes and worked on a handful of digs, your methodology makes me cringe. Shoving spades and shovels down into the dirt has such potential for breaking or damaging many finds. We NEVER used shovels; always scraped carefully layer by layer with trowels and brushes. It takes longer but when we came across something delicate, it wouldn't get damaged. Something to consider, although you probably won't change your approach...

Don't you mean National Socialist Era?.
🤓
People call the era different things such as third Reich, Nazi, national socialist etc and it tends to be different depending on which country you live in. it doesn’t really matter
Are those relics reported to the local archaeology authorities? Is the any leader which actually takin responsibility of your actions? Because all of those finds are already important from this perspective of 20th century archaeology. Tell us more about your cooperation please, if theres any and you dont just hunt for relics, doin PR with that.
Well you're crazy
Another bureaucrat in action who wants to make sure that if you find a buried Tiger Tank you will not take it away inside your luggage.
Wow, that is one weird comment, you work for the government?you like to have control on everything and people? Let them( and us) have fun sorting through 80 year old trash. But what do I know, I’m Canadian
Legitime Frage. Also Vorsicht!
