How To: Convert a Glass Tank to retain More Humidity

  • In todays episode ill show you guys how i modify glass tanks to be able to retain the humidity in Your animals environment! I hope this video is entertaining and useful for my viewers! If you've got a PVC Tank or something similar feel free to share in the comment section! :)

    Personally I just put foil on top of the mesh lid covering about 2/3 of the lid and put black duck tape over the foil to make it look nice and it works perfect! I like modifications looks legit

    Great idea! We’ve been struggling with humidity in our glass enclosures. Question- is the PVC foam you use strong/rigid enough to install a couple light fixtures inside the terrarium?

      Hi, thanks for watching! I order 1/4 inch PVC sheet from Amazon or Lowe’s website and have had great results using for my enclosures and it looks nice. It is a pretty durable material, it could work if it was a thicker sheet or had a little extra reinforcement if your going to hang lamp fixtures from it or on top of it. It doesn’t break easy!
