Hi Sean, I upgraded to a cheap BT system but it sounds like all my bass has gone. I now think should I purchase a better system or add an active subwoofer as the new cheap system can facilitate this. What do you think? the Pioneer speakers look great and the price is good too selling at £26+
I can't comment if it was 'the best' - there could be better and it depends on your budget and needs... These easily matched my son's budget and have a clear improvement on the stock speakers - but also proved well for a similar rear speaker upgrade and the head unit (more power +Bluetooth), see other videos. Very subjective matter! 😸
Really sorry, no - I don't know if you can use the "Euro shell" thing that comes with the stereo? But also no idea how that might be fitted! Our Matiz is gone now - so also cannot even take a look / experiment!
Translates to "Hello, why don't you have the stereo playing on it?". Sorry, I don't understand the question. There is demonstration of the Stereo playing some tracks towards the end; but I suppose the Mobile phone used to capture the footage doesn't record in "stereo" if that's what you mean?
Well - I wouldn't say this was an exact step-by-step instructional; more a bad DIYer & educational experience. ;-) Disclaimer: Not really my area of expertise! READ THE MANUALS for the stereo and your car carefully! If there's no power to the new unit - was there power previously? If you've a different car, I recall there are some instructions in whether the permanent & switched power feeds needs switching - see instructions and the spade connectors on the adaptor block... I'm not sure if the polarity can or needs to be changed too; BUT PLEASE *READ MANUALS* and *MEASURE VOLTAGES FIRST*! I recall there were dire warnings in the manuals that incorrect voltages / polarity could lead to killing the radio and / or your car electronics! You could also the car fuses for the stereo power feed.
@@SeanPearceUK when I plug in the factor stereo of the Volkswagen 2008 mk5 golf it work but when I plug this pioneer one in it doesn’t work I guess I’ll just have to get it checked by a mechanic if it doesn’t work.

Also if there is an electric aerial "9 to 11 if pin 5 is an antenna control type. Otherwise never connect 9 to 11". For the Matiz - I did not need any of these alterations to the standard loom.

We found upgrading the Rear speakers made a bug difference to the bass response too... See other videos hereabouts for that.

I bought an android Phone with
camera parking so I will replace it with radio
Does this make it sound better? I don’t hear the audio that well as I have it soft.
Yes, also an improvement over stock but one of the main reasons for upgrade was to add Bluetooth.
@@SeanPearceUK ah ok there’s a old Sony Bluetooth radio in it now I think from 2007-2009
Hi mate any ideas where I’d get those side brackets from to fit new stereo ? We bought matiz without radio

You can make the screen in green ?
I don't think so on this model - other similar (more expensive) models I think allow the colour to be altered.
I’ve followed every step but mine doesn’t turn on for some reason
