I made mistakes looking for my soulmate. First, there was a delay on "the wrong one mistake". Then I found him, but HE eventually made a mistake which sent me in search again. But in the end, he was my soulmate. We both had to forgive our mistakes and God did as well. We are nearing 50 years together, and we love each other so much. I am just so at peace with him, nearly all the time. He says he feels the same. I thank God for him.

I love the last part of this message especially. If people can mess up their life's mission by moving away from G-d, they can miss their soulmate. And people can elevate themselves to a higher level and be a better match for a different soulmate. Wasn't Leah initially meant to marry Esav? But she prayed, she didn't want that. So Hashem had mercy and changed her course. I don't remember the source for this, I just heard it somewhere. Also, for people who are widowed - in some branches of Christianity, they don't remarry. But if 'soulmates' can be made, then people can find another person to help do the work of a couple, to serve Hashem in holiness. Shabbat Shalom.
