Cody, Womanity is the first perfume I wore where both my husband and sister were upset with me for wearing it. I had a sample and sprayed it right before we went out to dinner. We got in the car and they both got the same sour expression on their faces and said WHAT is that?! Oh god, do you think that smells good?! 😂 🤣 All the windows went down. They told me I could never wear it again. So I have this bottle that I never opened but am about to finally! get rid of. I think the bottle design is so interesting though. There must be a scent molecule that some people pick up more than others. I don’t get the “sea” or caviar feel, it’s just a salty fig to me. Anyway, had to share my story ☺️ and now I’ll stop with the longest comment ;)
I have a pretty new bottle of Valentino Donna. This is a tricky one. I don’t smell it very long, but others still do. If it matters that you smell it, then yeah maybe get rid of it. But if you just want it to last, test it out with someone else. This has been discontinued. You may be able to get a good price for it if you hold on to it for a while.
I love a lot of Michel Germain perfumes, but they are very sweet and probably considered young. I don't care though. I'm 42 and I wear all those "immature" fragrances because I love them. lol
Love the video! Even with me, Donna by Valentino was love at first sight for me and now I barely reach for it as it just doesn’t feel the same and becomes a skin scent too quickly
I really like Womanity a lot. It smells delicious on my skin. I do detect the fish smell but only just. It is a potent perfume and very long-lasting. I have just repurchased a bottle. La Panthere is one of my favorite because of the iris smell. I wanted to repurchase it this summer, but I thought it was way too expensive.
I’ve found that the NR L’Absolue is the same as your opinion. However, I’ve given it a few more tries and the weather is getting cooler and I have found that I’m starting to like it. To me, it smells a bit dated and very soft, but it is growing on me! Also, totally agree with you about the Valentino Donna.
It didn’t smell like strawberries to me lol:) soki said there wold be a popcorn note but I did not get a popcorn note in this at all. It’s almost like they messed up and gave me the wrong bottle.
The popcorn note was a big deal when this perfume came out. I think it was around 2008 so maybe she read it somewhere rather than actually smelled it. I owned it and loved it but now its actually smells little bit chip.
Creamncherry. If my memory is correct I believe Soki had mentioned in one of her videos that Miss Dior Cherie was one of her first perfumes her parents gifted her as a teenager.

Couldn't understand why it was on Demi Rawling's list of recommended designer frags to the point that I thought maybe she isn't in touch with designer frags enough (I still hold that view, though!) 😁

I had the original Miss Dior Cherie like in 2012 or something, a beauty youtuber recommended it and it DOES smell like bug spray 😂. At least IMO. I ended up giving it away, it was super heavy and floral.
With Donna, I had to buy an old version of it on eBay. It was used halfway and the person had it for a long time and the performance and smell is amazing.

I agree with the Cartier one I found it really too old too strong for no reason kind of so I gifted it immediately hoping the person was going to like it, by the way I just love the Lolita one it really smells good on my skin although it’s not my signature scent but I like to wear it before going to bed couple hours after showering it really does smell like a skin scent with a bit of extra sensuality on my skin 💖

Yes Valentino Donna has been refirmulated and it’s so sad when houses change their perfumes I have the older one looked and found it so I was happy. I found a good deal on a perfume that is underrated in my opinion that you may like I got a gift set of it at my local Rexall Drug stores Guess Seductive Noir. It smells like a Guerlain perfume and it’s beautiful, powdery vanillin with Vetiver, iris. I think it’s gorgeous.
Have you tried angelique noir by guerlain yet?? I think you’d love it! I am saving for a bottle, I smelled it in Vegas a few weeks ago and it’s sublime and quite unique for a feminine scent!
I‘ve made the same mistake with Eccentric 01😅! I’m sure we are not alone. I love your videos, but I noticed most of them have the thudding sound throughout, you can hear it well when listening to your videos on headphones. I think this is coming from your microphone. Is there any way to avoid it/remove it ? Otherwise, a great post 🥰
Hi Evelina yes I've noticed the same thing before and I'm not sure what it is, I'll definitely try to work on it - I'm sure it's not the mic becasue the mic doesn't move but I will do my best! :)
Well, if you smelld Valentino donna befor 8 years it's logical that you found it much stronger with better projection becose you was much younger and maybe not so into perfumes🤔😉 (mostly, at the younger ages we all prefer fresher and sweeter sents IMO) I have the Valentino donna from 2019🤷♀️ and i really love it and i think it has so good projection and longevity... I don't know, I'm not smart 😂
8 years ago I was a mother and not as young as you probably think haha:) 😉. I just recall it being much stronger and also different color juice. I’ve had a few people tell me that yes they did reformulate it.

Valentino Donna is only 5 years old. Not very old. They may have changed the formula or perhaps your nose or skin has changed as that can also affect how you feel about a fragrance.

I just ordered samples of Micallef Ylang Gold and Banana Republic Dark Cherry__. They both get great reviews. I want to find ones I love and also last bc if they don’t last I don’t want them.
The Lolita Lempicka perfume has been reformulated unfortunately:( so thats why you probably don’t love it as much anymore. Used to be my favorite perfume, now its just not the same

I absolutely love the smell of the Valentino Donna, however, have to agree with you that the performance is absolute garbage! There is no way in the world I'm going to pay that kind of money for something that has $3 performance! As for the Lolita one, i absolutely adore that 1!
Have you tried most of the Jo Malone intense line? I love myrrh and Tonka so I would love to see a review on the rest of the intense line. Also, I went to a niche perfumery in Miami this past weekend(Osme perfumery and they are amazing) one of the owners recommended me to try Montale Arabians Tonka, I’ve heard and tried the popular Montale and Mancera fragrances but never heard of this one and it’s amazing. The best by Montale and Mancera by far and very long lasting, I highly recommend.

I think you meant the elephant in the room, and I’m someone that finds the “for Her” line okay and really don’t like the cube line from Narciso. Rouge I instantly couldn’t stand unfortunately. Otherwise we have somewhat similar taste actually.
Lacoste Eau Sensuelle is the worst perfume i ever had in my collection. The only perfume that has gave me a headache. It smells very masculine and spicy nougat.
When I was starting my perfume journey in Feb. 2019, I only used to watch Demi Rawling and Jeremy Fragrance. Most of my blind buys are because of them depending on how the perfume was decribed. And I don’t have any regrets at all. When I explored other “reviewers” and blind bought their suggestions, most of the times, if not all, are fails. Not saying that Demi and Jeremy are better reviewers because I also watch and believe other reviewers like Mila Le Blanc (I also have some of her suggestions). It’s only based on my experience. Good that I don’t have any of your failed perfumes.
Yeah the thing about perfumes is that they are so subjective - just because it's a fail or a win for one person won't make it a fail or a win for you. I'm very careful when I buy based on someone elses loves because we all like slightly different things. I share my fails because I find it interesting and I love seeing what other people post that didn't work out for them etc. But my "fails" could very well be your "wins"! :)
I should add I've had bad experiences and good experiences purchasing from the recommendations of Demi, Jeremy and many other countless reviewers I've watched.

I’ve heard someone say that Womanity smells like a yeast infection. 😂 I had to sell mine it was disgusting. Smelt just like fresh fish.

Valentino Donna does not last on me as well. They must have changed the formula. It’s lasting power is 3 hours max

That Arabians tonka sounds amazing! I have smelled most of the jo Malone’s but it’s been a while and I need to review all of them.

I had miss dior cherie when it first came out and even though the packaging was beautiful, the fragrance was too chemical and abrasive for me
