Update: I enjoyed wearing this but it's probably not something I'd wear often. It dried down into a somewhat cinnamon floral (mostly jasmine on me) and an earthy resinous honeyed amber. It felt thinner in the drydown than it did in the opening. For 5€ I think it's a steal! Very classy and refined. Oh, sorry that the audio is a bit quieter than usual.
This used to be the signature of princess caroline of monaco. Look out for dali's laguna, one of the first aquatics and absolutely divine at that.

I LOVE that Salvador Dali so much !!! A classic IMO. I also love Salvador Dali Pour Homme .....I layer them together !!
I also have Laguna...which for me is a so-so scent. I want to try the Sunrise Cadaques for sure...due to your recommendation.

And I forgot ... he, of course, is such a famous artist with quite unusual work, hence the quirky fantastic bottle. Another facet I fell in love with all those years ago.

I think Delicious Delight should read a little more. She doesn't who is Salvador Dali, a shame of her. Obviously she knows just a little bit of art.

OMG this was my going out fall/winter scent in the late 80's when I was in college- such a heavy one but a total mankiller! To this date, I have never received so many compliments on a fragrance. I still have an old bottle I kept for sentimental reasons. Not sure I would vibe with it now though. I am jealous you picked it up for that price!!!

Oh I fell in love with this in high school ... I was always an old soul😂. It feels like Coco Chanel to me... I love them both. Somehow it smells buttery and rich like fine cognac or buttered rum mixed with spices. I still really like it and it’s so affordable now! If you like vintage fragrances that are rich and ambery and deep you’ll probably enjoy this. I also still love Givenchy Ysatis (much sweeter but strong 80’s fragrance too❤️)
Now that you've mentioned cognac...yes! I can totally smell the spicy booze in it :D
I remember this years ago. It is like Opium,, Shalimar, and Poison. Meant to be dark and mysterious. The cave is a good image, but I put in a walk down the street in a bad part of town.

maybe like old cardboard or antique cupboard when you open it have sweet, woody, dampy vibes

I got the Laguna. And it is amazing, smell like Bulgari BLV !! I'm wondering some of 80s cheapies have very similar ingredients without hefty marketing bills.
The Laguna seems to be a very popular one. I hope I can try that one soon :D

Old school vanillic drydown to my nose.
Bottle and fragrance is indicative of Dali's wife..it's very cool.
I’ve never tried it. May be it’ll change your thoughts in cool weather?

I blind bought this and I can‘t enjoy it. To me it smells like carrots in a cellar 😅
Ok tried it once again- it’s not that bad. Powdery, woody and spicy. It’s somehow masculine and to me it lacks something- maybe something warm or sweet.
