One time a magician asked who didn't believe in magic in a crowd. I raised my hand as a joke and he called me up to the stage. I immediately figured out what the trick was but when he did it and asked me what I thought, I pretended to be amazed. I didn't want to ruin the guy's schtick. He basically pulled me to reposition me in the stage, that's where he touched me first. He then did this whole rigamaroll about how he hadn't touched me and how my hand had a mark on it. He clearly had stamped my hand when he pulled me towards him. I just didn't want to ruin the show.
This is actually the easiest Carbonaro Effect trick to understand: The cabinet has a tiled top surface surface so it's easy to conceal the fact that the tile surface probably has a 12" by 12" cutout / top door that can recess down and out of the way when the "compressor" machine is centered on top of it, and then he has an assistant underneath the cabinet who reaches up and hands off the dogs to him. To make the trick even more convincing, he should have opened the left doors and had false dog cassettes shown to make it seem like that whole cabinet was full of dog cassettes like the right side even though the fake cassettes could have been only 1" deep to allow room for his assistant to be under the left side and still be able to reach the dogs up to Michael. How do NONE of these people ask to see underneath the entire cabinet???
yeah he made it slightly more difficult by moving the thing around. I figured it was fixed in place making it super easy to have a hole cut out. but i think when you see something in public your default assumption isn't i'm probably on a tv show when something inexplicable first occurs.
