please allow me to give you a bit of advice regarding park ups......Never reverse right up to anything, if someone unsavoury was to drive right up to the front of your van you would have no chance of driving off, same goes for never driving in, always reverse in so you have a quick exit. Also never use silver screen covers on a park up as you don't want to be getting out to remove them if you need to leave fast. Love following your vlogs, but please stay safe.
Hi Becca, The LPG guages are not the best in the world, they work on pressure. If you climb in altitude, the pressure in the tank can drop making it appear as if its empty. Best thing to do is to run it empty from Orange or red and see how long it lasts but around the £10 mark sounds right for a 16lt tank (if i recall thats what you have?) Dont forget they never fill to 100% only to 80%. Loving the Videos :)

I never had a single doubt that this was going to work. I knew from my experience with Mysha that Savannah would take to it like a duck to water. You are both a team😍. It was destined to happen. Just to add what @brizol said, LPG gauges will also fluctuate with outside temperature, the higher the temp the higher the pressure and so the gauge will show more LPG in the tank and vice-versa of course. I too long for the lifestyle you are now living and seeing you and your LOVELY companion on the road and how you both adjust to it so well is so inspiring. You've really got the video making up too a really good standard these days fab. It's always difficult to get a good reading with lpg tanks and bottles, you could have a diesel heater as well, only £45 at the moment unbelievable. That will be a good backup and not much weight, easier to get fuel abroad too😊 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Greetings, is that toast i smell ? Don't panic so much about the gas as a with the bigger power bank a 1000 watt cooker ring is well good enough to tide you over. Just the right size as can get to be a large lump if big capacity. PS to make it last well never leave the inverter 240 v switched on standby as this uses power even if nothing pluged in. Sometimes you have to take the risk and use all the lpg in the tank , then refill to know the limit, or get in the habit of filling it when it's half way , you're still finding what works for you and even the most seasoned van lifer will change there rountine on a weekly basis. As long as your enjoying it that's all part of the journey. Anyhow that Lando win came quick after our last conversation, I bet your neighbours thought what the hell is she screaming at! Yeah I’m going to have to test it at some point. I don’t think it’s ever gone below half full. Ahhh Lando. I full on cried 🤣🤣 I had to basically sacrifice my weekend fun for a park up with signal so I could watch it. I said to dad before I hate Miami but I know if I skip the weekend Lando will win or something & then he did!! So glad I decided to stay local & watch it. Nail biting last 25 laps & pure wholesome moments after he won. Loved it. Great race & sprint (surprisingly!). I hope you enjoyed it too 😍😍
It was a good race and result for Lando, as soon as he was leading I thought of you and how elated you would be. As for Miami it produced a great race this time so will look forward to the next one. Best way to know if there's gas enough gas left for another day or night in a 20Lb. Tank is to lift it up physically and if its still heavy ? It's got enough 👍. Or you can give it a shake, see if you hear any liqued sloshing around in it. You'll easily learn how much over several trys. 👍 Rock on 🙂.

Have you considered getting an induction cooktop just in case? So you can eke out your LPG if needed, and can, as you say, boil some water for a hot water bottle in winter?

I set up a local service business to get a regular, reliable income in the van while I build up my remove content creation work. The aim is to not do it for long as I want this to become my main income :) Hope that clears things up a little.

Work is not something i discuss publicly for many reasons, but towards the end of the build I set up a local service business to get some money in while I build up the content creation stuff. Work 3 days a week then go off for 4 usually. It's a perfect split that, but eventually I would love to be fully remote & then its a one way ticket exploring the world 🤍
- Pee bottle = eww. - Can’t you work out how much gas you have left by subtracting what you put in? Eg: 20l tank, fill up when red light comes on, with say 11litres. So red light equals 9 litres left. - Don’t park up against anything, as you could get blocked in. - American accent? - Some very nice park ups.
I empty the pee bucket every other day. You could possibly get 3 days of out it but I’ve been too close to the top sometimes doing that so ended on every other day for the bucket. The number two side varies. I add my toilet paper into the bucket too so depends on that mainly. Maybe once every 10 days - 2 weeks. You could go a lot longer but I find it odd just driving your poop around 🤣 so empty it more regular than what you ‘need’ to. Pee bucket, down a drain mostly, or the odd occasion in a hedgerow if I’m somewhere well out of the way. Other one just goes in my main bin out with my rubbish & savannahs litter. Double bag it, any normal bin is apparently fine. Eventually the plan is a homestead, so I’ll start a compost pile when that comes to fruition.
@@myvanworld 😂 it is, apparently there’s not a reliably accurate gauge for LPG, I’ve had to drive to fill up a few times with half cooked dinner in the oven 😂
@@myvanworld the worst part is the actual LPG pumps, my local garage never has any. I did that a few months ago, an electric two burner hob, works great for £40!
