    I had terrible experience with the installation and believe mine has defects but customer service thinks I installed it wrong when I asked for a replacement. The installation guide left warped sides on mine from the nubs holding it in place and I can see areas on the adhesive that are uneven causing bubbles. Also the blue tool they tell you to use is too thick and ends up warping the edges if you have to release a bubble or reapply. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated since I was so excited for this protector but the free protector from miracase included with silicon case off Amazon was easier to install than this and looked better than my Shellrus one right now. I’ll try heating mine to fix the bubble issues and send evidence to sapphire but with the high cost and advertisement of a easy install, if mine can’t be recovered i will never purchase from them again. I am impressed I got a response from customer service within same day though based off other reviews online reporting terrible customer service.

      I had the same problem. The small bubbles came out eventually. But that included pick is horrible, imediately gave up using it because like you said, to actually get it to lift without causing damage is hard.. a bit sus that this video cuts the part out where he says he uses the included pick to fix the bubble... I had one bubble that wouldn't go away so they agreed to a replacement, but I see it more as a defect.

    I just got mine after my brand new 14 Pro Max got a scratch from my Oura ring, which is titanium.
    When you are selling a phone for $1,500 it seems like having a sapphire screen protector installed at the factory should be expected. I am sure that buying tens of millions at a time it wouldn't cost them more $25 per phone.

      @@exno8767 excellent so far. I just changed the Mous case with the Nomad wallet one, but just for the looks. Sometimes I forget there’s a screen protector. It’s really smooth and has covered a ton of hits. Nothing seems to scratch it. The cameras are also pretty protected, so it’s totally worth it. Just be careful, I’ve got terrible hands, and ended up with a bubble right in the middle, but that’s because my pulse is terrible and sometimes I forget about it (until is completely shut down, which is rare).

    • @JHEntertainment98
      @JHEntertainment98 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Here’s the thing about Sapphire, it won’t develop cracks from scratches due to the hardness. As long as you got a case with a tall rigid lip and you don’t drop it on a hard uneven surface you are not likely to break this protector and you won’t have to worry about cracks developing from scratches like the tempered glass one.

      $2 tempered glass is garbage. If you’re going to go with Glass go with a Aluminosilicate glass like Zagg or FloLab, and if you don’t care about scratches but do about impact go with a Impact Resistant Plastic or Hybrid Screen Protector like a RhinoShield 3D Impact, or a Mous Hybrid Glass or a Bodyguardz PRTX.

    I appreciate these tests of yours. This reinforced to me that a 9H $12 tempered glass screen cover (like Spigen) is a better deal than an $85 sapphire one. A decent drop face down will shatter a screen cover no matter its Mohs hardness level. At least with a $12 tempered glass cover, I can replace it several times before coming close to the cost of a sapphire cover and will still remain unscathed by anything I'll ever have in my pockets with my iPhone.

    • @JHEntertainment98
      @JHEntertainment98 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is no such thing as 9H tempered glass. Only Sapphire is true 9H, those screen protector companies use Pencil Hardness and 9H pencil is actually pretty soft. Tempered glass scratches at a level 6 on the moh’s scale.

    • @HighTechCheck
      @HighTechCheck  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The extreme scratch protection works well for a few real life scenarios that a lot of people would fall into. I myself am not really worried about dropping my phone but if you happened to, your phones screen would be protected but the protector might break. If you put your phone in your pocket / purse with keys, coins, or anything else that would scratch the hell out of any tempered glass but wouldn’t touch the sapphire protector.

    • @CarronBarboza
      @CarronBarboza 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I feel like a case is more important when it comes to drops. The lip on the case as well as the case’s durability usually decides if the screen takes any damage to begin with.

    • @hahahayi1017
      @hahahayi1017 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unless you’re not using a case and dropping the phone screen first onto rocks, this screen protector won’t crack that easily. If you have a good case, most instances where the glass screen protector cracks is because scratches weaken it. The less scratches, the less likely to crack through normal usage.
