I was thinking Advanced self charging PHEV ( like my 10 year old Mitsubishi outlander PHEV ) with its advanced Atkinson cycle ICE driven 80KW generator, this Advanced Mitsi PHEV powers it's front and rear Electric drive motors via this engine driven Generator (it's electric 4x4 has no prop shafts or transferbox ) similar to the Diesel Electric locomotive pulling all those tanks 😎. The party piece of this Advanced Mitsi PHEVs Atkinson cycle engine is when stationary it can return unbelievably good fuel efficiency ( it runs on different number of cylinders depending on generator charging load when stationary) this stationary charge ability is especially effective whilst charging the 12KWh traction battery being also able to simultaneously power the electric A/C for cooling / heating the car, your off grid tent or caravan . Stationary when deployed correctly it is also very effective at powering electric power tools welders, cooking ovens or a power shower, it's also unbelievable efficient for our residential backup power supply, all via the standard V2L CHadeMo Mitsi PHEVs 12 kWh battery power take off ( CHadeMo has standard bi directional Vehicle 2 Load 240 volt 16 amp power take off circuit) In my experience the advanced Mitsi PHEV Atkinson cycle ICE ( Internal Combustion Engine) is more economical than my emergency standby 6KW Honda generator & unbelievably much much quieter on camp sites. Mitsi PHEV can power my caravan all weekend in charge mode automatically starting 2-3 times all weekend for 20-40 minutes to recharge the 12kwh battery pack (usually automatically starting when the electric power shower is used in my caravan) And regularly only using less than 5 litres off petrol all weekend😎 How useful would an Advanced PHEV self chargeing Challenger Tank with V2L power take off be in battlefield conditions , troops would get a bonus hot power shower from there PHEV tanks 🤠👍
They don't use them between Parsberg and Hohenfels due to the short distance. The US Army escort NATO tanks into the training area many times throughout the year and occasionally organise a large road march between Hohenfels and Grafenwohr.
@michaeldowd8422 Yeah if it's a short distance, you don't want to hassle with unloading them from the train, loading them up, and then unloading them 5 miles down the road again. Cheers.
At least they have the rubberised road tank tracks to protect the german infrastructure, because the normal tracks can make a hell of a mess of the roads.
U.K. only has 40 Chalanger tanks in working order, so whatever would be sent to Ukraine would last up to 2 days. Truth is hard to swalow for many British. USA would not manage to fight Russia inside Ukraine for much longer than 1 months, up to 2 months at best.
Well thats fantasy bullshit on so many levels. The US has over 8000 tanks and IFV in storage in the US alone. That doesn't include the ones with active duty units or the ones pre-postioned around the world. They are still building more. You need to stop drinking in the Putin Propaganda mate. Ukraine is fighting Russia to a costly stalemate with mainly outdated donations and nearly no airpower. The USA wouldn't need to fight for more 4 weeks to stomp Russia in a conventional war they have the worlds first and second largest airforces in just the Navy and Airforce and then you have the combined might of all the rest of NATO. Which is why the Russian needs the largest nuclear weopons stockpile in the world to hold that threat in check. That said if Russias mainly soviet era nukes work as well as there sam systems how many would be even able to launch. As for your laughable claim that Challanger tanks would only last 2 days a dozen have been there over a year now and the Russians have only managed to destroy 1 from which the crew escaped, How many Russian tanks more importantly crews have burned in that time even Putin has admitted Russia is losing at least 5000 KIA every month at the moment. At this point Chinese golf carts, Suicide moterbike assaults, and T55 sheds are regularly documented being lost on the front line.
These British Tanks will in due course end up in Ukraine. Trough this example Great Britain and others are directly entering the War between Ukraine and Russia. This is not a defensive move it will promote potential conflict between the NATO alliance and the Federation of Russia.
Ah "directly entering the war" ... And Pootin's Russia is directly attacking and trying to occupy his "brother" Ukraine and wipe it off the map since 2022, partly since 2014. He killed more than 500.000 people by this time, most of them his own soldiers from Siberia etc., lured with money.

"Sergeant, how far away are the British tanks?"
"From the sound and smell I would say a good 5 kilometers."

It's just an exercise they're attending. Read the description
They don't belong to any one unit. They've been in storage
Thanks. That makes more sense than the previous reply and probably accounts for appearance of them@@moif_velocita

Dozens we haven’t got Dozens . 12 Tanks FM.
As of 2023 the United Kingdom's Armed Forces had 3,207 key land platforms, with the most common vehicle being the Bulldog, an armored protection vehicle, of which there were 746. The UK's tank fleet included 213 Challenger 2s, the UK's main battle tank
There's 24 in total, in separate train loads of 11 and 13 each.

Challenger 4 =
PHEV drive system
AKA : diesel electric locomotive 🤔
Can’t do that, no where to charge em! Lol😂😂
@@bugmanaussie8862 I wasn't thinking Mikey Mouse PHEVs ( like lot of expensive Jeep type PHEVs they need plugging in because they can't self charge , and still use traditional transmissions🙈 )......
The party piece of this Advanced Mitsi PHEVs Atkinson cycle engine is when stationary it can return unbelievably good fuel efficiency ( it runs on different number of cylinders depending on generator charging load when stationary)
this stationary charge ability is especially effective whilst charging the 12KWh traction battery being also able to simultaneously power the electric A/C for cooling / heating the car, your off grid tent or caravan .
Stationary when deployed correctly it is also very effective at powering electric power tools welders, cooking ovens or a power shower, it's also unbelievable efficient for our residential backup power supply, all via the standard V2L CHadeMo Mitsi PHEVs 12 kWh battery power take off ( CHadeMo has standard bi directional Vehicle 2 Load 240 volt 16 amp power take off circuit)
In my experience the advanced Mitsi PHEV Atkinson cycle ICE ( Internal Combustion Engine) is more economical than my emergency standby 6KW Honda generator & unbelievably much much quieter on camp sites.
Mitsi PHEV can power my caravan all weekend in charge mode automatically starting 2-3 times all weekend for 20-40 minutes to recharge the 12kwh battery pack (usually automatically starting when the electric power shower is used in my caravan)
And regularly only using less than 5 litres off petrol all weekend😎
How useful would an Advanced PHEV self chargeing Challenger Tank with V2L power take off be in battlefield conditions , troops would get a bonus hot power shower from there PHEV tanks 🤠👍
No mate. These are definitely the early coal powered models.
why was the first challenger 2 smoking to much?

Where are the tank transporter trucks?
We don't have any.
@@jimsimpson8082 rubbish seen them in uk on motorway
They don't use them between Parsberg and Hohenfels due to the short distance. The US Army escort NATO tanks into the training area many times throughout the year and occasionally organise a large road march between Hohenfels and Grafenwohr.
@@CobraEmergency Yeah, I thought it might be a distance thing. I drove tank transporters for the British army back in the day and totally get that.
@michaeldowd8422 Yeah if it's a short distance, you don't want to hassle with unloading them from the train, loading them up, and then unloading them 5 miles down the road again. Cheers.
Wow, I never saw anything like this, when I was a Railwayman.
At least they have the rubberised road tank tracks to protect the german infrastructure, because the normal tracks can make a hell of a mess of the roads.
I counted 12 in all. Probably end of service units that were due for replacement.

Gosh we sent all out tanks, and with no steel industry to speak of we wont be able to replace them.

Don't be dumb. They are being given by the UK to Ukraine. Far better than anything Russia has still
All I’m noticing is the exhaust.
Why the smoke?
white smoke = cooling water vapor
black smoke = burnt oil
probably a burst engine
U.K. only has 40 Chalanger tanks in working order, so whatever would be sent to Ukraine would last up to 2 days.
At this point Chinese golf carts, Suicide moterbike assaults, and T55 sheds are regularly documented being lost on the front line.
the irony of hazard warning lights on a tank ........
It isn't an act of war if you have your beacons on.
Reminds me of that Peters sellers quote, "we'll have no fighting in the war room"

it looks like one of the tanks was only running on 11 cylindres 🙂
These British Tanks will in due course end up in Ukraine. Trough this example Great Britain and others are directly entering the War between Ukraine and Russia. This is not a defensive move it will promote potential conflict between the NATO alliance and the Federation of Russia.
NATO will not need tanks to defeat Russia . It;s air-power could defeat Russia in an afternoon.
Your joking right 😂😂😂😂wow dilusional
