I've just ordered the NECA Halloween 2 Ultimate Michael Myers figure from Mad About Horror & I still think Halloween II (1981) is still the best sequel in the Halloween franchise

The second relaxed hand is for posing him with that hand over his eyes when posing him with the scalpel. There is an example of this pose on the back of the box. Great video as always!
If you saw the end of the video that's how Spot had him posed.
@@joelschama1735 Actually he didn't use the dynamic hand for that pose he used the regular relaxed hand. The dynamic hand is specifically included for that pose. Thanks tho.

I got the version of the box where instead of a hook on the top, it’s an entire flap of cardboard. I don’t know why (Edit: Nevermind it was just an extra piece that was supposed to be tucked in the box)

I remember reading an interview with someone who worked on Halloween 4 who explained the weird flesh colored, blonde mask. IIRC, the masks they ordered ended up being so late that they had to start filming without them. They shot the non-Michael scenes as they waited. It started to get to the point that they were going to need to film Michael. Luckily, the masks arrived. Unfortunately, they were flesh colored and blonde. Apparently, there was some sort of miscommunication with the mask makers. I can understand white skin being misunderstood as "Caucasian", but I'm at a loss with the hair. Anyway, they had someone repaint the masks, but that took time, so they kept one mask and filmed the scene that made it into the movie. I think they were planning on reshooting it with the correct mask but just never got around to it.
The masks arrived essentially as recast Kirks, which then had to be hastily (and frankly, poorly) converted into the Myers look. The light hair, the tiny eyeholes, the flesh tone, the sideburns, all very Don Post Captain Kirk.

Poor Ben, that was one of those moments in the movie that stuck with me cause I was little when I saw it...I felt wicked bad for that kid...but at least he’s immortalized now!!! Awesome figure and Great vid too brother!! Peace out...!

Holy shit, I didn't realize that the Jack-O-Lantern opens up to reveal the skull inside. That's pretty awesome. This is a pretty damn sweet figure. I love the Halloween themed intro, very cool.

Also, as mentioned on Facebook, I'm sure you're excited to review the three children figures from Halloween: III Season of the Witch released with 3 removable/replaceable heads, trick or treat bags, and a TV with lenticular screen, as I know how much you enjoy part 3.
Fast forward 2 years later, NECA confirms that they will be adding a new Ultimate 'Halloween Kills' Michael to the fold (pre-order has already been opened up - even though nothing's known or has been shown about the figure yet - and I went ahead and took the plunge, sight unseen). If the grossly overloaded trailer, the leaked script, and the price point for the figure are any indication, this figure will probably be the most accessorized Slasher figure since Ultimate Roy and Ultimate Chucky. I have no doubt he will come loaded for bear with lots of heads, hands, and an entire host of vicious implements. Honestly, I'm looking more forward to the review of that figure on here than I am the film itself. It's going to be something special.
H2 is my absolute favorite Halloween movie, and the figure is perfect 👌
Just got mine and absolutely love it. I have been waiting for one of these since the movie came out in 1981! I hope they make more scales for this film. - Retro and the ubber big figures too.

I want it to be either a four-pack with Michael, young Michael, Laurie, and Dr. Loomis. Or at least the two-pack with the other two sold individually.
Preordered right when it got announced and still waiting for it to arrive. Its testing my patience to say the least! But with the Jason figures seemingly coming to an end I hope Neca will give us Michaels from every movie. And a new Loomis since the older set is astronomically priced now.

I have this figure too, and I think its awesome. I do believe that the face sculpt could have been better, though.
This was my most anticipated figure of 2019.
It sucks how neca only made 3 Michael Myers, remake, 2018, 2. Make more!
This figure is ok, I was really excited about it but honestly let down a little when I received mine, the head seems to fat and the body sculpt is a little weird. It's finally growing on me, I bought 2 more so I could display the other heads, don't usually do that but we don't get many Halloween figures so I had to. Super bummed there won't be a part 1.
I also believe they should have kept the characters siblings.
I think the best way to have gone was to have Halloween, then Halloween 2 then the latest installment.
Having Halloween 2 part of this story is:
1) Micheal and Laurie are siblings
2) The most important part for me is Dr. Loomis would have had a proper and Heroic ending.
The siblings angle adding nothing and if anything it hurt the mystique of Michael Myers. The more you can explain something the less scary/mysterious it becomes.

I absolutely adore this figure, and it's one that I've waited a long time for. My one and only qualm with him is that his head sculpt (clean Michael and "Blood Tears") looks almost nothing like what it was supposed to. Not only that, but I don't like that, strangely, they pick his eyes/eyelids out with very clean, bright paint. It is known that one of the eeriest/scariest aspects to him in that film was that you never saw his eyes. You might have seen small traces of very shadowed, dirty skin around his eyes in at least one scene, but certainly never his direct eyes. There was nothing but that super creepy darkness in the eyeholes of the mask for the most part.
In the original you barely see his eyes, not the case for the sequel whatsoever tho lol
And I would love a halloween 6 figure
This is an awesome NECA Halloween 2 Michael Myers Ultimate figure. The sculpt, paint application and accessories are all done quite nicely. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot. I really appreciate it!
Love this figure! Halloween II is one of my favorite films.
Not sure why they made H2 Myers so much taller than Neca Leatherface and Jason, Dick Warlock was only 5,9" when he wore Michael's costume in H2, he had to wear lifts to get barely at 5'11", Leatherface was 6'5" and shortest Jason with hockey mask was 6'1" in part 3 so making Myers the tallest is totally wrong, especially H2.
I have to disagree on them remaining siblings. Having them not have a familial connection makes it so that Michael has no real reason to kill, which is scary that now we have no idea why he does
If only they could make an ultimate H2 Laurie... i mean there is a huge posibility since they made Loomis and 2 versions of Michael... 🙏🙏🙏🙏
And seeing as they basically have the mold already from the Loomis and Laurie Retro Cloth 2 pack wouldn't take much just to use that same one or tweak it a bit

Crazy Fact for part 4 is Don Post screwed up and painted the masks a different color a more pinkish color and white hair and so they no choice but to use it for that shot you talked about.
If you brighten up the shot in question, it's actually a pinkish flesh tone. It's essentially just a recast Kirk mask.

It's funny how people wanted a Roy so they can make an ultimate Myers but Michael can out first and then Roy
Roy wears the same coveralls as H1 Myers. H2 Myers wears a different brand. Roy's body would still be a better choice for a H1-style Myers.
@Cannibal Corpse Nope. Olivewood Big Macs for H1 (and Roy in F13 Part 5), spruce Roebucks for H2. I have a pair of each. They're distinct in a number of ways.

Hi...Neca had the license for Halloween 1978 back in like 2004. They did some Myers figures like a set with young Michael and a set with Loomis. Also a Myers figure that comes with the ghost sheet. Before Neca, McFarlane did a 1978 Myers figure.
But like u said...hope they get the license for Halloween back and all the other sequels. How cool would it be to get Michael Myers figures from each film?! 😎🎃

I wonder if all it would take to have a decent Halloween 1 Michael is to (carefully) remove the hair pieces on the Tramer head and one of the Michael heads and just swap them. I don't really see myself using the bloody tears head so I might just do this.
I've got this. Warlock is one of my all time favorite guys to play Myers. H2 is one of my all time favorite movies. I saw H2 before before I saw the 78 Halloween. I've never taken mine out of the box. I just display the box on my book shelf. NECA does an awesome job on these figures.

Hi there Mystery Spot my name is Everett and I'm visually impaired completely and I've been watching your videos for a very very long time and I love all your videos and I do feel the same way as you I don't think that they should have read, and Halloween to I feel like they should have put it in part of the cannon I feel like it's just unnecessary people already know that it's her brother anyway so it's like why fix something that's not broken also I do hope that we get a Halloween 4 Michael Myers Rob Zombie in the first Halloween as in the first Rob Zombie movie Michael Myers I hope we get maybe a Jackie Earle Haley Freddy Krueger I know we got a Derek Mears Jason it'd be nice to get those it also be nice to get a 1978 AKA 1981 Laurie Strode it'd be nice to get her but it'd be much better to get amyloid and Doctor Loomis and maybe Sheriff bracket and some of the guys that Michael killed it be all so cool to get Rachel Carruthers from Halloween 4

Someone on the NECA Facebook page pointed out that the hair from the Blood Tears can be popped off and put on the Tramer head to make an approximation of the H78 mask.
I have the same one I had I for about 1 year in a half and I still have it good condition i love it
Happy Spooktober, Spot! I have faith that licensing will permit future Michael Myers figures. This figure and Ultimate ‘18 Myers are selling like hot cakes so hopefully whoever needs convincing will surely see the profit.
Now I'm the opposite to you spot that I like that in the newest Halloween timeline laurie and Michael are not related because it gives that mystery back of why Michael kills he kills because he's pure evil and he's not just going after laurie and her friends because there related.
I agree and thus it makes him pursuing Laurie less based on some unnecessary connection but more a classic case of her being the one who escaped the original massacre.

Tying the family Connection makes him less scary, maybe more it intimidating for Laurie but what made Michael scary is how he was this emotionless void that killed with no purpose giving him purpose makes him overall less scary especially when he’s targeting family instead of how he originally was supposed to target random people

I really like your videos, this figure is much better when buying it than in videos and photos, I loved it, I did not have faith for the somewhat sad face but I did like it
