Absolutely wonderful, you guys explain things, I remember seeing that guy, he's a Krav Maga practitioner, honestly not everyone has a combat mentality, especially a person who never been in a DoJo or Boxing ring. I love it, how you break it down to the lowest common factor, for the average person out there, so they won't be intermediated to protect themselves. Excellent work as always professor James.

Great video! In the grunts we covered a lot of club style weapons and learned from Phi stick fighters a good dose of what you teach. Street is different in weapon choice/availability vs field expedient "club" but the principals are the same. The golden rule I have always been taught is "dont be there" goes for the place, the situation, where the strike is going to be etc... dont be there. You have awesome content David
The other guy had the right concept and he's good at what he does but you really break it down from a self defense/offense perspective where the average person can understand. Whereas the other guy explains it from a fighter's perspective as you stated prior. The other guy's teaching is good but your way is even better. Respect to you and the other guy. I agree with you with the social media guys only teaching it from one side but you bring in the meat and potatoes.
You helped me clear some doubts in my SD platform. Knives and bats have concern me du to lack of body action and timing needed to make a strong attck...
Sir: I have followed 4 different martial arts schools in my lifetime. Always the ame questuion "so what?" Not to put any system down, they are all valid in a Dojo setting. By watching you I realize I did not know it but all those years i was looking in the wrong place! I was looking for street defence, not martial Art. The only critique i have is that your system is not broad enough. In Krav you learn defend yourself but also to protect others (protecting your wife or preventing a kidnap of your child. In Aikido you learn how to deal with multiple attackers.
