I agree with your view re: Twist & Turns shawl. I quit it too. I did learn how to “embellish” cables though. So, I didn’t start this shawl. Now with the restart and seeing the sizes of some of the spoilers I’m sure I will wait, figure out how/where to eliminate rows so that it will fit my very petite wife (or maybe expand it to turn it into a blanket).

I'm still working on the new clue 1 using Ines's design that Stephen shared in Ravelry. I'm on the 3rd section of the square. What kind of ball winder/swift do you have? I got a "deal" on Ebay and it was a waste of money.
Hope you're having fun knitting your colors! I don't know if I would recommend my winder, it's the knit picks one. it works fine but i did have issues with it in the past and had to open it up to pop the gear back in -_- The swift is from Etsy from a page called Fashoknit.
