I been taking all my resources an investing into jepi normally I like to keep a lot of others around but JEPI seems more stable and I feel it safer then others. I'm getting about 30 a month and hopefully I'll be able to use the dividences to get a additional share a month. I been in the market for a lil over a year and kinda greatful to experience a bear market first hand to understand an what to expect next time another comes around. My only question is how long will JPM keep JEPI around for. But seeing as how JEPI has become know as one the largest ETF I don't see it going anywhere any time soon. I am hoping the market does turn around at some point because it does make me feel a lil uneasy. But as Warren Buffett has said "when other are fearful be greedy" I would love to see a day the total gain get in the green someday.

If you lose 30% of your investment and you gain the 1000 per year how much will you actually gain?

In the growth I have SCHD and DGRO, and I'm still deciding what to put in the high dividend portfolio, I was going to do JEPI, JEPQ, XYLD, RYLD. I don't want to join the qyld bandwagon because it's performance probably will never recover. At least with all the others like your video just mentioned should appreciate at least slightly over time. I'm okay with building up a high dividend snowball as long as I don't lose a bunch of my capital. What do you think Ryne? Hepi Is not good because you will lose the value of your purchase and and you will not get it back on the Monthly distribution

That has not been the case for me so far. I’ve made more in dividends with JEPI than I’ve lost in share price appreciation

Jepi leaves room for capital appreciation by not selling calls on everything like some covered call funds. It's also actively managed so they aren't just blindly following an index or one strategy. It's still pretty new so we'll have to wait and see longterm results.
