Mam i got a structural drawing it was given partion wall on beam but beam top of ramp so vehicle cannot enter to the basement because of that beam so partion wall could be done on slab , what i want suggest to str engineer to update the drawing ? Please advise ?
Madam ji my slab is 14×20 & my house builder told me in corner portion, kitchen side of slab there is conceal beam inside but i don't know exactly... .. Can i stand a wall on slab.... 20 × 14 is size,. Distance please answer
If you have the beam below wall, then the wall load will transfer to the beam. Hidden beam or concealed beam concept is not recommended as per IS codes.
Mam, pl correct me if I am wrong , as per my calculation the max axial load bearing capacity of 9" X12 " Column with M20 grade (6 bars of 12 mm & 8 mm stirrups 150 mm apart ) is around 700 KN, Even if I go for G+2 structure in small space (600sqft) with 12 numbers of columns, where the span is just 10 feet, if I applied influence area method for load calculations of individual column, the max load on center column comes in range of 300 KN, if Im taking 5" Slab and 4" Brick work. Taking FOS of 1.5, 450 KN capacity column is sufficient, then why its not recommended to use 9x12 column for G+2 or G+3 structure. Request your valuable comment
Mam can you explain the Design of beam where secondary beam is also provided and slab ,sunken slab is connected how we can calculate Mu for ast?? Can you please Explain..........as in this video secondary beam connected with 2 main beams there can you explain how to calculate Mu in main beam??
Wonderful explanation. You have mentioned the moment for design. It us not very clear. Also placement of steel. It shiuld have been supplemented with manual calculation. Concept of stress diagram shiuld be a separate video ("what to infer from stress diagram. Relation with BM, SF, deflection. Need for camber etc 👍 Thank you madam
Thank you. From stress diagram you can take bending moment and design the slab as usual. i had shown the how to take deflection and the same you cross check with deflection control in IS-456 here there is no hidden beam concept, only the wall load is applied on the slab.
AWESOM MAM... VERY EFFECTIVE
It's my pleasure.
Topic was important. But you did a mere classroom demonstration.
Thank you ma'am for this video
Can u make video of design grade slab with load of a machine...
Seriously amazing explanation 👌👌👌
Glad you liked it.
Hoping for such more stuff ahead good work dear
Excellent video 💯...Will the deflection on the slab be negligible if you use Hollow concrete Blocks?

I start watching your videos from today......nice explanation mam.
Thanks and welcome.
Thank u helpful video
Mam, can we be make 4 inch partition wall on rock slab with 3 beam like first in bottom and then middle of wall and third upper.
What is the maximum deflection in two way and one way slab
Mam i got a structural drawing it was given partion wall on beam but beam top of ramp so vehicle cannot enter to the basement because of that beam so partion wall could be done on slab , what i want suggest to str engineer to update the drawing ? Please advise ?
Good mam

Nice mam 👏
Thanks.
Madam, how to design overhead water tank in staad.and how to give reinforcement.
Will upload soon.Thank you.
Excellent
Thanks.
@@CivilEngineeringMastery welcome
hi maam. if the wall has a beam hidden below the slab, the dead load wall will be added to the self weight of slab or to the self weight of the beam?
If you have the beam below wall, then the wall load will transfer to the beam.
Hidden beam or concealed beam concept is not recommended as per IS codes.
Very good mam
Thanks a lot
I want to build wall on slab, hight is 9ft length is 9ft so can I build
Can you do architectural drawing if I provide plan
mam . i want to construct a wall on 20 feet wide and 18 feet in length slab.please guide mam
Mam please make tutorial on design of hidden beam. how to Fix width and depth of hidden beam.
Okay sure.
Actually hidden beams are not a correct structural solution.
Mam can a hidden beam can carry out 9" wall load plz
tell 🙏🙏🙏
U Tell me too sir
What is maximum deflection in slab
MAM WHY U NOT APPLIED CONECRTE DESGIN????
WHEN I APLLIED CONCRETE DESGIN PROERTIES THEN I FACE ERROR
PLEASE SOLVE IT
Thank ,, its amazing

Tge capacity of column is depending on many other factors.if you use bigger size beams column will have less moment.
Again the slendernes aspects etc.
Thanks ...so we can construct 4.5 inch brick wall in 5inch two way slab
Same doubt sir

ok.
nice explaination. can you explain STAAD pro stepbystep for beginers from basic?
ok.
Yes please, we capture what you explain very easily . Please make stadd Pro series for beginers
Please refer the below link for staad.pro basics

Mam pls make video on etabs
Mam how to design manually wall load on slab
Will upload soon
Ok mam
Really need a manual calculation
Nice
Can you please make same in connect edition
ok Sure.
Please refer to the below link

Mam how to analyse the raft footing
Will upload soon.
Why shoud i include floor height in calculation of main wall load?? I did not get it!
To calculate the self weight of wall.
@@CivilEngineeringMastery thanks for reply but as it shown you need to calculate the slab with one partition wall on it. Not others
Problem thickness to span ratio increase mesh density increase moment
i hve a doubt to be clarified , can you?

Hindi mein bhi video daliye madam ji.... Please
Can we contact details , I have help in structural my old building
civilengineeringmastery@gmail.com
if you apply 21kn/m2 it'll fail in design
Madam voice is too clear ,so we need more videos please
Thanks.
Nice
Thanks.
