  • These are some awesome and not too pricey 1.9 size beadlock wheels. They go together really easily and the threads on the screws are smooth. Use some blue thread lock while assembling and these will be some solid wheel options. I'm using proline hyrax clone tires to complete the Caster Racing CJ10 Rock Rocket. Links for these wheels, tires and rig in this video below.

    I saw these on Amazon and wasn't sure which of the 4 color options to get, but I think your video made me realize the silver center w/ black rings is the best looking! Thanks for posting.

    I bought a set of those clone tires, they seem to do pretty good in dry conditions but here in Western Pa where it's wet a lot you can really tell the difference in grip between dry and wet. Not a bad tire, it's good for trail running for sure.

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will find out for myself soon enough lol. It has to be better than stock tires at least I hope. That alone will make it worth it. I like water and mud runs so if it disappoints I will let people know when I post an update on these. So far on loose dirt and rocks it's been good.

    I got one same like this but different design and it's insanely hard to put the screws in. I have to first put in a longer screw then do the original screw in. after I got all the other screws I take out that long screw and replace it with its original screw. It's a pain in the ass fiddling around it but I finally got it in. Phew... I hate putting on beadlock wheels

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I heard some had this issue. It also depends on the tires bead thickness as well. I noticed different tires have varying thickness and some are harder to get on and require you to be creative like you did.

    • @smolscale
      @smolscale 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a good idea using a longer screw first. I never thought of that. These are difficult 🤣

    • @RunThatRC

  • @rcjoe406
    @rcjoe406 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Do you have to lock tight the screws on the ring ?

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Blue loctite is advisable. My friend lost a couple screws on the trail without realizing it. You dont ever need to undo those screws again anyways to change tires. Actual beadlock screws are on the back of the wheels to remove tires.
