Simplex 2001 Capacitor Replacement |

Sorry I haven't been able to make a video in some time. Life got in the way, but I'll try to make videos more often at some point in the near future.
Today, I replaced the capacitor that I believe was starting to fail. As I stated, some of the electronic devices were having issues, so I suspected an FWR problem, and my oscilloscope confirmed that. Though it wasn't full FWR, it was apparent that it wasn't fully filtered DC.
Why did I choose do do this now? Because I wanted to change out the capacitor before I installed the backup power supply. Once I get all that done, I will continue with my "plans" for the 2001. Stay tuned.
