I saw Jeneva Rose's tik toks before I read The Perfect Marriage and thought it was going to be so good, because she seemed funny and self-aware. How wrong I was.
My pcos also didn’t affect me for years, decades! My period was super regular- every 28-29 days, no body hair, etc. Now in my 30s it has made its presence known loud & proud 😖 weight gain, body hair, irregular periods, mood swings, etc. I have an appt with the endo end of year to get some help cuz I’m struggling!
im glad you're sticking to low impact exercise! especially with us pcos women anything drastic from our usual can impact our cycles etc (def has for me in past!) having that positive mindset and taking care of yourself is everything! less stress on you the better.. excited about your baby journey 🥰 love your vlogs, thanks girl
It's funny, we're also working with fertility specialists right now (PCOS) and I also just started my diagnostic cycle and will start medicated cycles in September! Going in for my SHG tomorrow eek. Hoping for the best for both of us so I have an internet person to keep up with on a similar journey/timeline.
I’m so glad you reviewed the perfect marriage! I kept seeing it in top 10 videos. When I read it I was genuinely frustrated with how one dimensional the characters were and just how ridiculous it was. I tend to agree with your reviews so I was excited to see if you had the same thoughts!
I liked Remarkably Bright Creatures, since it reminded me so much of Fredrik Backman's writing style, so that might have introduced some bias into why I rated it so highly. I will say though that Backman's books are a little deeper in plot and how he ties things back together. If I'm not mistaken I think this was the author's debut? So that also might be something to consider!

I'm not sure if you have these in the house; but once I moved into my apartment with lots of cats in it, I looked into the pheromone diffuser and that was a big help for my cat and bringing new cats into the apartment.
I do the same thing with the shape tape concealer!! The normal size just gets so nasty and gunky, no matter how careful I am. I’m glad I’m not the only one with this issue, I thought it was a me problem for years. 😂

Had to pause the video and come back - your kitten is adorable! We're getting a cat in September. We're currently without pets OR kids! We're going to miss the quiet. I've rarely been without a cat my entire life and I can't wait to spoil my fur baby and give him the best life possible. I want a boy, maybe a kitten maybe a few years old. I'm going to browse a shelter and see which one begs me to take him home.
I loved Spare, the way he talks about losing his mum was very heartbreaking and I def related since I lost my mum at a young age like him. and his time in the military was interesting as I had not a lot of knowledge of it before so I would definitely recommend trying to push through to the end :)
Does anyone else not like Crumble because they have too much going on? They’re like mini pies or cakes, it’s just too much for me. I like a classic chocolate chip or sugar cookie person.

It's so funny to me that we have almost exactly opposite opinions of Mad Honey and Remarkably Bright Creatures :) INRE to Mad Honey I was so into the book for until the "reveal" and then I thought the court room and way they handled the reveal was terrible and the final outcome was ridiculous (spoiler at the end). INRE Remarkably Bright Creatures I read in one sitting and was rooting for the "twist" reveal before the octopus figured it out so I was so satisfied when it finally happened 🤷♀ Mad Honey Spoiler The end where they know the friend literally pushed her down the stairs and left her their to just die... The guilty person let their "best friend" take the blame and almost be sent to prison for something they knew they didn't do! They testified against them?! They let their friends hockey career and potential sports scholarships be completely ruined by sitting in jail for the whole time... but once it's over the prosecutor decides not to even try them for the crime THEY DID COMMIT!! Oh man that ending killed me! I also thought the court scenes were ridiculous... like 3 witnesses? IDK it's been a while but I had a lot of issues I put in my review...
I hope this doesnt come off as weird, but i figured id comment this information just in case you havent already come across this in the research you both have done. The US doesnt have any national regulations for fertility clinics on how many children they can produce per donor. Or if they even have to use the donor you guys picked out. There are many many cases across of sibling pods over 100 kids. Some of which chosen donors were replaced with the male drs sperm. There is a lady on tiktok who is a donor conceived child advocate who talks more in detail about this. She strongly advises getting genetic testing done for all donor conceived children. There is also a whole documentary about one of the cases of this called Our Father. At this point in time i think they have discovered larger sibling pods than that one. But i believe at the time it was the largest one they had found
i appreciate that! i was aware of the issues associated and thankfully the channels we're going thru don't have any of those reported issues. but i am glad ppl are sharing their experiences, it's definitely important to know.
