I’m so with you on the anniversaries-my husband and I have been together for 12 years but only married for 4. Every year our wedding anniversary comes around we’re both like lol that’s cute when we say how small the number of years is. We both resonate more with our dating anniversary and feel like it’s way more representative of our relationship
My husband and I will have been together 5 years in December…. We absolutely treat that anniversary as more special! (Been married 3) I definitely agree that it feels more special
I'm at the mercy of my fertility clinic currently :(. I followed what my fertility clinic said and booked a trip around their timeline and I am still waiting. I've been waiting since July. The wait is the worst. I hope everything falls into place for you 🤞🏻
25:03 re nails, I don’t know if they do it in the US, but I get ‘builder gel’ and then gel colour on top and it lasts a month and lets your nails grow long and healthy. I’d definitely recommend!
I'm sorry you're dealing with some heavy, aucky stuff. I'm a fellow control freak, and when I got some pretty serious health news, one of the things that helped me so much was focusing on the things I could control. Like you said, you can control how you react. For me, I started decluttering my stuff so my fam wouldn't need to deal with it if I died, lol. Depressing af. But it honestly helped me feel in control of a very out-of-my-control situation. Y'all are the first married couple I've known to agree that the dating anniversary matters more than the wedding anniversary! I guess the way I said that is misleading. *I* think the dating anniversary is the more important one, but my husband disagrees. So now we celebrate both equally. 😂 It's like.... the wedding anniversary would not exist without the dating, so I think it's the more crucial of the two. Congrats on your anniversary! We're hitting 15 years in November. It's wild!
