Arguably the most evil path of them all, which is why personally cannot play it, but it is good to see a build for every path, hopefully Golden Dragon comes soon.

God I love how unique the swarm is compared to the other mythic paths in the game. I mean they are all good but the swarm REALLY changes things up in both a story and game sense!
I have chosen not to do swarm cause it removes what I enjoy with Rpgs, the companions. xD
I was actually surprised by how different the Path was too, both mechanics and story wise.
@@MuppetLord1 imho it would have been great for the commander to be so quickly deranged in the head that he creates copys of the companios from swarms, being all creepy and wrong because the JC only has superfiscial knowledge about these people, so you gave the creepy things shuffling around.

1-Oracle, Human, Shackles Corsair, Stats-14-12-14-12-8-19 Skills-1 into Magic Device, Max Persuasion, Max World (for food!), Max Trickery, get Athletics (5 is enough because of Swarm's str boosts) Also be sure to put the extra point into perception whenever you get it (and whenever your Athletics reach 5)
Feats:Power Attack, Cleave Get Plagued curse and Nature mystery with Animal Companion revelation-Wolf

I went with Lich to Swarm since the power hungry mage fit better than a fallen angel for me. Used your Lich King build as the framework and adjusted it with parts of this build here and it went really well! Vamp blade hard carried it until I was able to get my first clone and M9. Healing even off misses was so helpful early on

the "NOT THE BEES" mythic path
Literally perfect timing. About to finish my first run as angel, and swarm seems so cool it’s definitely going to be my second.
Swarm is certainly very fun and no doubt one of the most unique paths, be sure to use ToyBox to unlock it with a save for your Angel at the beginning of Chapter 5 if you didn't get it before!
Another plus for Kineticist Swarm is that since you don't need any buffs, you can easily and without cons take the Spell Immunity Mythic ability. So you can be immune to all physical and magical damage.
And if that wasn't enough, there's (or was, when I tried it) an interaction (or bug) where the damage proc from Swarm Form would proc the currently active infusion, like Prone and knock back. Quite hilarious to see melee enemies constantly get knocked on their ass and pushed away over and over.
Sword Saint is pretty good too.

Swarm is indeed very evil, but I think it makes up for it with unique theme/mechanics.

wow, what a build! would have named this one, either "The Closer" or "The Cleaner"
Regarding the introduction, swarm size bonus to mental attributes and 5 clones is rank 10. More relevant to most players are 2 clones and strength and dex bonuses only. It can still be a powerful mythic path (in fact, with my trickster kineticist and magic nullification, it was trivially easy at rank 9), but the gulf in power between ranks 9 and 10 is dramatic, particularly if relying on mental stats.
That is true, but thankfully the M9 bonuses are great as well, mostly what with Phys immunity being broken good.
Mask of the Betrayer really was a great game, wasn't it?
I'm tempted to name my Swarm character Sarah Kerrigan. Or, failing that, Jane Prentiss, if you know the Magnus Archives at all :D

my favorite mythic path :) i even made my own oracle build and guide.
imho you should go for 20 oracle with battle, second mystery nature. nature 20 final revelation(animal type)+friend to animals revelation gives you paladin dip bonus saves, that is insanely overpowered since you are physically immune.
Is there a way you could do a guide on the items you use and where to find them I tried using the wiki but it's missing some item locations also I want to thank you for the guides as they are very comprehensive and insightful as someone who is new to pathfinder they're a huge help.

I mentioned it in other posts, but let me mention it on its own: magic nullification with rank 9 swarm immunities makes you virtually unkillable.
I've never tried it before, but sounds fun to have a character immune to BOTH Physical & Magical!

I’m theorycrafting here, but if u take maneuver mastery and pick aspect of the wolf from loremaster, u could not only trip as a swift action, at lvl11, u gain greater trip, which procs AOOs. Given how large your clones melee range are, the synergy would be great…
This is a super bizarre request, but would you be able to make a Trickster respec guide? Like, feat/build progression with no limits for party members/leveling to 6 then getting your mythic powers, then finishing level progression to be completely unlimited in build progress?

@@cRPGBro glad to hear it so far none of the builds I can find for gold dragon are that useful I've been using it as like a 6th shifter aspect but it still feels like such a waste because of how much you can do with that path
35:49 - what about Sacred Commandment ring that angel gets? doesn't it give heroic invocation?
Very interesting, I might suggest 1 level dip to scaled fist for charisma AC scaling+nature whisper (on the lower levels this can be very useful for surviving on the unfair)= pretty decent AC. This way you can safely play with dex 7 from the beginning and loose almost nothing. If you later get trait that gives you deflection AC = CHA (from your party member quest - we are evil, yes?) your AC can be very high even without mythic 10.

@@MultiKopu It is Daeran quest, if you sided with Other and betrayed him, you can get charisma bonus deflection AC passive ability (incorporeal charm i think, not sure). Only matters for high charisma players, and now I know that for angel it is useless - sun form spell can get you exactly same bonuses. And don't stacks with rings or shield of faith.

For Shifter, I recommend either Feyform if you want melee, or Manticore for ranged.
Both will be top tier when you consider your clones sharing abilities.
I already have builds for both in my Channel, ideally you want to go with Trickster into Swarm.

How would this mythic path be with pure mutation warrior trickster into swarm? Have use magic device for scroll/wand usage?
Mostly the same as a normal Mut Warrior Trickster, because you + all clones will get to retain the special Trickster Crit. Feats.
Ideally I would go with Scimitars because there plenty of good ones and high crit range too, plus Swarms get extreme melee reach at M9!
UMD can help with scrolls if needed, but at M9 you get Phys Immunity anyways!
One funny thing I found is if you and your clones cast Bodak Gaze they'll each effect the enemy. Thus giving enemies multiple negative levels a round.

I had no idea the auras could stack like that, but it's definitely extremely strong due to how busted Negative Levels are, especially without a save!
Hey, a few questions (I don't know if you'll see this or have time to answer):
1) Where is your gold dragon video? I saw your comments about it coming soon but that was a while ago and I never saw it. Did I miss it?
2) Could you please do a few more Azata builds as well? I only see a couple of them at most. I notice that you do almost all trickster for good characters, and then it's mostly completely evil stuff. Very little Azata at all. Is it not really good overall? I'm curious. I ask because I'm never going to play Lich or Demon or Swarm (Evil just..doesn't interest me).
3) I saw your video about party synergy (the updated one). You don't use Ember much? Isn't she sorta key in Chapter 4? Just curious.
4) Is there any party member you can use to add Haste other than Nenio? I've always played with Nenio mostly because of haste, but I'm thinking of making a Skald for it instead this time around.
5) I don't see any Kingmaker videos from you. I know it's older and buggy and probably abandoned, but I started playing it again for a bit and was just curious on your takes of builds etc...I've mostly been using your kineticist build for my Kingmaker kineeticist.
6) Could you make a "best weapons" sort of video? The reason I ask is because I see a lot of interesting hammers and things which I never end up using. Maybe I'm missing some videos of yours with builds which use other weapons rather than scimitar, daggers, fauchards etc... Just curious about that. I feel bad always selling interesting looking stuff but that nobody in my parties is going to use. So I'm wondering what you recommend other than your usual stuff for usual crit/attacks of opportunity builds.

1. Gold Dragon Guide is still coming!
2. Sure, I usually prefer Azatas for full casters (CC or damage based like my Feylord and Fire Blaster Builds). For melee, other Mythics tend to be a lot better.
3. I don't use Ember much because I find she is mostly outclassed by Camellia who has: better Hexes, better Spellbook, better saves/HP/melee/tanking potential. Usually the only thing Cam misses out is Hellfire Ray, but she does get a special Shaman only Hex to make enemies suffer vastly increased fire damage!
4. Yep, I use my Skalds to cast Haste on party as they learn it as early as level 7. Before, you can use a Merc or Nenio.
5. I haven't tried Kingmaker videos yet, but it sounds like fun indeed, especially modded classes.

I’m currently trying out your new cavalier/lance build. Just started a new game last night. My favourite was the slayer trickster/legend. That was so excellent. I completed the playthrough for the first time on that build just last weekend.
You should do a guide on the prestige classes, are any of them worth it, and what the best ones are.
That is planned indeed, as I've only covered the Base Classes in depth on a standalone guide.
Have you ever done a build guide on kinetic knight? I mean primarily focused on the kinetic blade, I know there's a general kineticist guide covering the mechanics and stuff. I'm just wondering, I've never played kineticist, not really a huge fan of the archetype, but that kinetic blade sounds pretty nice. I remember hearing that it's not very good for some reason (I forgot why exactly), is that true?
Kinetic knight in general is a very weak kineticists - you can get kinetic blade and use it better than kinetic knight as a basic kineticists (metakinetics is a way better than some armor and other useless abilities knight get).
@@KirDmA Well, I don't really care about the archetype that much tbh, I just think the kinetic blade ability is kinda cool. IDK if a build primarily focused on it would be viable, if I recall it doesn't get dmg scaling from strength and maybe power attack too? I've never tried it, maybe I will once I finish my current Lich run...
@@stephan4921 Of course kineticists can be variable on any non casual difficulty only if builded around deadly earth trip mechanic. And with the kalavacus aspect demon mythic she can utilize kinetic blade pretty well - you can find build on this channel. In any other case kineticist class (without deadly earth, demon mythic is optional but very funny) is much weaker than most full spellcasters and any good martial build.
I've never done Kinetic Knight because I find it very subpar.
The loss of Metakinesis feats alone is a MASSIVE damage decrease!

How did you get angel spells on Swarm that walks? That's like crossing a angel and a demon or devil
Merged Mythics (Angel & Lich) will retain their spells when changing into a late game Path, so long as you don't respec after becoming the new Path.
This was amazing, would love to see what a lich swarm would look like, I like the idea of a wizard going way too far into research, first undead and then swarm

I don't know if they fixed this, but when i played as a swarm 6 months ago if my clones had the swarm feast on together with the mc the swarm count doesn't increase

Doesn't swarm require choatic evil? or does it forcefully change it? Thats bonkers you get to keep spells i totally forgot it. Does dragon keep their spells?
It should change your alignment to Evil I believe, but you can indeed retain the merged spells, the same with Legend and Gold Dragon.

You forgot to mention Swarm can gain the ability to cast Creeping Doom (and a few other spells) at will if you devour the cultists that come to meet you in Drezen instead of taking them in as human units for your army.
Huuuuge. Kind of makes up for not having any unique mythic swarm spells.
Yes, they can be fun abilities, it's just that they're not that useful compared to other Swarm powers.

I finished the game and liked my team (Trickster/Skald combo is some crit nasty). But the thought of making another team that's difference but better was deterring me from playing the game. Well the swarm that walks it looks to be the path that is just as powerful and it's a lot more interesting.

Or clicking on the small snarrow retangle below your character's portrait? You should be able to access the pet nowadays with that.
However, your Clones will NOT get another Wolf, it's just the main character Swarm.
Well that is interesting.... I'm having the EXACT same issue, I can't access my pet either from the ui. The actual 3d model in the game works fine. Did you happen to ever find a fix?
@@cRPGBro I'm having the exact same issue as him today so it's clearly some bug. The pet is select-able as a 3d model but the minibar on the portrait is gone so you can't level it or change gear. Can still select it and move/attack and use skills on it. None the less, thanks for all the guides.
@@NetQvist Hi friend, there is an inconsistent method: selected the pet to loot the treasure chests or corpses, when the UI of the chests or corpses came up, do not loot anything but press the Inventory hotkey, sometime I can access to the pet and level it up and change gear. So equip your pet with gears that you DO NOT plan to use on your clone.
It's very annoying at the beginning of Mythic 8 when I did not have a clone yet and I did not have a way to manage buff/debuff of the pet. When I had the 1st clone, it was more manageable even on Unfair, and at mythic 9 I put my pet in the backline most of the time.

Hi, I have the same issue, bug with my Dog companion.(even after I respec out of a pet class hes still there) If you select the companion with your mouse, then press 'i' (to open inventory) you can access the gear on your companion.
What is really odd; If you let your pet die (I turned up difficulty and sent him solo against enemies) after a day or so he will randomly come back. atleast for me he does.
At first I was kind of pissed / thought it was too OP to have my knockdown pet. But maybe my character is sentimental for his old pet, and has his swarm recreate him after death. So now I call myself "Swarm-That-Walks-His-Doggie" or "Swarm-That-Walks-His-Doggie-Airbud". Glad Im not the only one with this bug/feature.
Also There is a cloak that makes you greater invis after a kill, it will set off the shadow demon summon belt as if you cast a high lvl spell yourself. Its great to get invis and a free summon in.

Regarding classes, I would favour kineticists over casters. Arguably the most broken combo is rank 9 swarm immunities and magic nullification. This basically leaves non spell sources of energy damage, level drain and ability damage/drain as the only things which can harm you. The overwhelming majority of attacks either do not do these forms of damage or are spells.
Magic nullification completely strips you of your own spell buffs however, weakening casters a lot. As you say, stacking deadly earth (and wall and cloud) is extremely effective, though honestly kinetic blade is absolutely fine for the most part, making these abilities (you have to manually place and them dismiss them on 3 characters which is a pain) not worth the hassle for most fights.
Kineticists also have very low gear reliance (a kinetic headband and a con/dex belt is fine for the most part), moreso than casters and especially martial characters specialising in weapons.
Also, the base kineticist relies on con and dex. Unfortunately, swarms get no con bonus but at least they do gain the bonus dexterity at rank 9. Bonus mental stats are so late as to be basically irrelevant, which does weaken swarm casters if your rely on DCs at all.
Dhampir is a very good race for swarms, as it blocks negative level and stat damage, something which most swarm classes otherwise struggle to deal with. Your regen is generally fine for the very limited amount of energy damage you will take.
Kineticist is indeed extremely powerful with Swarm Clones, I just like the vastly better defensive powers of merged Lich & Angel, but of course once you get 3 Clones and Phys Immunity it doesn't matter that much.
'You can't customize your clone's skills, outside of gear' - is only 99% true. You could be a possessed shaman instead of an oracle, which would give you and each of your clones a wandering skill, allowing you and them to swap out a skill once per day. I'd think that as an angel-merged possessed shaman you could have max ranks in every skill easily. How useful that would be, is more of a question.

with +28 str I understand 11:00 prefering reach to damage boost, but to me that is only on 99% of weapons.
If i where building a 20 level fighter or another melee class that has the 20lvl feat to confirm criticals, i would be building swarm similarly to how i build trickster, either scimitar or scythe, and focus on crit and damage over everything else, i mean +28 str damage and hit is already enough and threath range is absurd too, so either way is fine.
Which Lich builds do you think would work well with this? Deathknight Scythe for clearing a room in a swoop? 🤣
Merged Lich ones would be the best so that your Swarm + clones would ALL retain the Lich spells!

Honestly, this might me one of the ocassions where Shaman is the better base class for Angel Swarm, to keep the Fortune buffs after the companions leave.
Yep, Chant + Fortune spam is always cheesy powerful, but frankly any Angel Merge combo is amazing as Swarm!

It’s a big ask, considering I know you’re working on the remaining mythic paths and their mechanics, but I would love to see a concise guide to all the feats, their mechanics and your opinion on em. A lot of the same feats come up again and again in your videos, so I assume those get your top recommendations, but I’m curious about some of the more niche feats, especially teamwork feats, and how/if they interact with each other. I’d love to see a detailed explanation of how for example outflank, seize the moment, snap shot and similar attack of opportunity feats work together as a total party when dealing with things like size increases or reach and lunge since you’ve made clear that AoO are the most powerful tool your party has, and I want to be sure that I am understanding it all / maximizing their potential.

Well, I don't fully run every build through the game, mostly the Mythic Path Guides!
The swarm is the most op mythic path in this game. Combined with Magic Nultrification mythic rank then u are basically immortal
I feel like Swarm is only going to be realy Fun once the Game gets another DLC so you can actualy PLAY the build (Also i doubt i ever could do this to the Characters i've come to like). Remember to actualy pick up Xanthir's Notes after you kill him, otherwise you will not get the Swarm Research

You could just play treasure of midnight isles standalone rogue like dlc mode, it's perfect for playing all mythic path just ensure that you don't take it lightly as 2 boss fights are intense on all game modes especially for unfair.
When the game came out, most people only considered Azata and Angel as the meta. Truly the real meta is taking Loremaster irl and having access to all the broken secrets of the game.
Or just stealing all the best benefits from merged Angel/Lich & Trickster and changing into a late game Mythic 😁
I went with Lich on my Swarm instead, being evil all the time feels more sensible character wise instead of the lawful good to chaotic evil swap. But then I play on core and don't need to optimize absolutely everything.
I think Demon makes the most sense before going Swarm but yeah, Angel really makes no sense to my mind.
@@spellandshield Yeah Angel makes the least amount of sense but keeping spells is just so powerful, ofc several of my last playthroughs have been with the spellbook merge mod so the initial one doesn't matter that much.
Both merged Angel and Lich are extremely strong as Swarm!

Swarm is awesome, but I still can't make myself play it. Putting hundreds of hours into being a world-ending horror show just feels like such a depressing way to spend your time!

Swarm enemies are one of the dumbest encounters of wotr. I refuse to become a unethical swarm.
Thankfully they are easily trivialized by the Bane of Spirit Ring, or also a special amulet Ulbrig, the new Shifter Companion comes with!
