yes you can up the ram to 2x 32GB , just be sure the speed of the ram is match with one from the factory and yes you can add one more m.2 nvme ssd 1TB one of my customer already done it,

The slots are 2. One is occupied by the original SSD (500 GBs), the second slot is 2280 (the longer size than 2242). Lenovo says the max SSD Nvme must be 1TB but I am going to put 2TB. I will report if it works.

And I removed the original 2242 SSD in the slot on the right because it was rather small and slow. I preferred a clean install to a cloning so now I have a perfect system and it’s crazy fast. Make sure the SSD is single-sided.

Buy 5600 that can run at 4800. I did like that. Doing that way, in the future you can use the modules in another Laptop that natively supports the 5600 MHz. The RAM speed is limited by the Processor and also check BIOS Settings just in case...

If the SSD is double-sided, I have read on forums that it might cause problems. Go for a single sided one. Ask Crucial via live chat support to confirm that what you are installing is single-sided. If not, replace it. For example, Samsung Pro 990 2TB is single sided and I’m using it Allright. But do your research, responsibly. Good luck

@@i_am_not_satoshi_nakamoto It is not the capacity that is the problem. Most NVME 2TB are dual sided. That is the problem lenovo doesn''t tell you about. If you replace your kingston with a single sided build like Samsung 990 Pro series or SK Hynix Platinum P41 You will have no issues.

If you use different speeds, both modules will go at the lowest (lowest of them and processor for this specific model as for the 15IRH8 the "Maximum supported memory speed may vary and is contingent on the processor."). Finally, if you want to have room for further expansion, buy 1 module of the biggest suported size (32 GB unofficially and 16 GB officially).

Yea , the 1tb was only set by the site , you can upgrade it to 2tb or 4 and heatsink won't fit

It's probably a hardware issue, talk with the customer support and go to their service centre. If the fan is not working then it's faulty.
