    I literally love how you don't waste any material and you create such small, intricate, and beautiful pieces! I love it!

      Thanks Kate!! I am actually too obsessed with not wasting anything.. to the point where I do projects that are unnecessary so that I don't waste. But this one is fun!

    Love this idea ... but the light was behind your hands and at times, hard to see the detail. Would it be possible to have a light above pretty please?
    EDIT: Also meant to say you're very talented. I subscribed to your channel also. Guess Im binge watching you on this first day of 2023 ... cannot think of anything better to do 🥰

      Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you are enjoying my videos 😄I will definitely try to be more aware of how the lighting affects whether or not people can see the details. I don't have any studio lights, so I rely on natural lighting, but that isn't always very good. 😄

    Just wanted to ask if we can use a different fabric than felt? I don't have felt and don't think I can get it anywhere, is it possible to use like monks fabric?

    • @lydiagracestudios
      @lydiagracestudios  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I'm glad you liked the video! I'm pretty sure you could use any fabric, but you have to make sure the edges don't fray so you'd have to stitch the edges somehow to make sure they don't fray :)

    Wonderful job, I was looking for brooches that used beads & buttons, this gives me more ideas on how I can incorporate them with this type of design. Thanks for sharing. Can you tell me how much you sell these for?

    • @lydiagracestudios
      @lydiagracestudios  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm glad you found this video useful! I don't have this brooch for sale, but I would calculate how long it took me and cost of materials to work out the price. I would probably have to sell it for over £30 if I was going to make a profit as it took a really long time to do all the french knots.

    A little confused. On the video on the last stage you do a over stitch on the edges yet the brooches shown at the end do t have this and just show a running stitch approximately 1/4 inch in. 🤷‍♀️

    • @lydiagracestudios
      @lydiagracestudios  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I see what you mean! It does look a bit confusing. The over stitch at the end of the video is stitching together the two grey felt pieces, whereas the running stitch at the beginning of the video is sewing the denim rectangle to the grey felt rectangle. hope that makes sense!

    I like more subtle, when you first started adding the flowers it looked amazing but sorry to say the more you added the more overcrowded and busy it became. Less is really more...
