- Hello my lovelies!!
The video today is my Travel Stitch Kit - all of the goodies that I will be using for my slow stitching on the go.
Thank goodness for The Last Homely House Aurifil Thread Box that Kate has put together. Here is a link to both her channel and specifically to the thread box video. Stay awhile and check out some of her wonderful videos.
The kit bag is a Kipling find from Vinted
Most of the scraps are from Bazaar - link below.

This is really funny. When you were looking for the word for the middle, in my Bristish accent I said “wadding”. Here in America we call it batting. I am a lifelong New Yorker. I watch so many British artists that I am becoming brilliant at my new accent. Cheers
Haha brilliant! 🥰❤️
I luv. The lime green sofa. I am sitting on it currently
Pass down the cakes please :) 🤣❤️
Oh my goodness, I love your videos so very much......❤❤❤
Thank you so much 🥰❤️
Love this presentation. Thank you for sharing 😍
Thank you - so pleased you liked it 🥰
Also... An old dental floss container is great for snipping threads on a plane.
That is a very good idea - thanks for that tip :) 🥰
So clever!!
Clever idea! I’ve never had a problem bringing scissors on planes, though.
I think it depends on the airline. Mine said that the blades should be short. My embroidery scissors were fine. I also have a clover thread pendant that I sometimes use too :)
@@KoolKookyKreatures Admittedly, I've never tried as I always had a floss container on me. I've opened them up and rewound with thread as well and you can stick a few needles in it, too, depending on the size/type container.
Love Kate, I'm a real fan, she's another inspirational lady like you 😀
Me too. She's lovely.
Kate is fantastic - I’m a huge fan of hers :)
Ditto 💕💚💕💚💕
@@KoolKookyKreatures Kate has similar hobbies and interests to me so all her videos are so interesting.
Yes she is a great inspiration and also shared many of my hobbies - I always find everything on Kates channel fascinating and informative :)
Lovely travel stitching kit Tori, and I can see your new wrap is going to be just gorgeous. Love the Last Homely House channel, I didn't know she had a shop too .... uh-oh!! :) The Pink Goblin goodies look so cute and really unusual, what a lovely gift!
Thank you Annie - Kate from the Last Homely House is great isn’t she? I had to have that Aurifil set as I had one of them and they are great to stitch with. Kate’s selection matches my colour palette in general :). I love the Pink Goblin - I followed them on Instagram and my daughter knows I love “what we do in the shadows”. She knows me so well :) xxx 🥰
I love that What We Do in the Shadows house! Amazing! I am bringing my fabrics with me and will hopefully try slow stitching on my holiday too!
One of my favourite shows and that house charm is amazing :) Yay for slow stitching on holiday! 🥰❤️
Oh my goodness, your work is such eye candy!!!😍😍😍🎨🎨🎨SO beautiful & colorful!
Thank you so much Heidi - I just love colour! Could you tell? 🤣🥰❤️

Thank you Mikelle 🥰
My apologies, I called you kooky in my last comment to you, because I didn't know your name. I just now noticed it's written on your whatchamacallit at the beginning./ End.... LoL. So now I know how to address you properly. Thank goodness!!!
Safe and fun travels Tory. See you when I see you.

It’s beautiful do you have the link for the video of the first one you made so I could watch that too?

@@KoolKookyKreatures wow great timing ive subscribed so I'll keep a look out thankyou for the reply 💜
You are very welcome :)
Do you find that the running stitches, on the wadding backed piece, shrink the piece a bit? Would you oversize that piece and cut to size once the stitching is done? Or do you iron it post-stitching to get it back to original cut size? Thanks ...
Hi Elizabeth - yes the running stitches do pull it in a bit and so I try and make sure I cut a little extra to compensate. I don’t iron it as I quite like the ripple texture 🥰❤️
@@KoolKookyKreatures thank you ... could see mine being short ... AAAARGH!!
Jobb lenne, ha nem kapkodnál.
Always relaxing and slow :)
