I was born in Puerto Rico 61 years ago. I lived in the Condado and went to the Caribe Hilton often with my parents to eat Sunday Brunch after going to mass. Left in 1973 and have been back several times over the years. There are more Puerto Ricans on the mainland than on the island these days.
Brings back memories of my one and only trip to PR in 1997. It was life changing. Someday I will get back. My father still lives in San Juan (my mom & dad were born in PR). Speaking of which I need to call him...

Puerto Rico was #1 back when the mitary bases where stationed there.My dad was airforce ,was stationed on Ramey base .We lived on gate 1.And we were the pioneers of many new places that now are now tourism on the map now. PR..will always be in my heart ❤💙.
Thank you for the video! My wedding reception was there, back in 1994. At the Club Caribe, which doesn’t exist anymore. It has changed quite a bit, but still a very nice hotel. We had so much fun! Love the Caribe Hilton! Going back soon!

Puerto Rico has some wonderful sites and places to visit! I need to go there one day. My dad was born in Puerto Rico and moved to New York City in his 20s. I know the beaches are more beautiful!

I think the Caribe Hilton hotel was made on the International Modern style, not on the Miami Art Deco style. You can cross the street from the Caribe Hilton and see another International style building, the Supreme Court of PR.
Many other ethniticities love it there.They mention the hospitality puertoricans offer to them .
