Great video! What kinds of cues do you use for athletes who tend to start with a very fast cadence but don't actually project themselves very far with each step?
Great video! Loving the content. Correct me if im wrong but i beleive ive heard from other speed coaches and maybe even you that resistance drills like this and others are very effective for achieving sprinting/acceleration goals.
Is this drill specific for first 3 steps coming out of 40 yd dash position? or will you use this drill regardless of the athlete and sport to improve force orientation of ath's starting mechanics?
A great illustration of the correct technique, thanks for sharing your expertise Mr. Spellman, your platform is worth gold to all sprinters worldwide.
Quality! Never disappointed with your content.

knee driving to tap hand / stick can be one...see here: th-cam.com/video/Eq7EV7YkMVQ/w-d-xo.html
@@LesSpellman Cheers Les, appreciate it.
The trick was longer arms to help project forward
Great Breakdown! How many times per week would you recommend this exercise? And would this be used on Max Velocity days or Acceleration days?
Depends where the athlete is in their experience / training - acceleration days
Love the video. My daughter comes up instead of driving out. What band are you guys using?
perform better - solid bands
@@LesSpellman thanks Les

Yes! When used properly, very beneficial
