This is so stunning I don’t even know where to start- firstly, the EXPRESSIONS are so fantastically done, I could absolutely feel Michael’s emotions and understand how he felt through the visuals alone. You managed to convey his personality REALLY well, how he’s frustrated and even a little joking at times, but ultimately when it comes down to it he is devastated. The lip sync is TOP TEIR and really brings it together, this feels like a professional fully-fleshed out animatic for an animated film or something. The turnaround shots too?? Absolutely in love with all the camerawork you threw into this. It feels like we spend just enough time in each position before it changes. Michael's expressions and the musicality in his movements are so on point and beautiful. There are so many amazing takes and variations on this number on the site, but to me? This feels the most "right" of them all... It pushes the motion and emotion perfectly The grey scaling gives a perfect imagery of how the lighting in the scene should look, a moonlit spotlight from a window on the ceiling. My only complaint about this animatic is that... Calling it an "animatic" feels like you're low-balling the amount of work that you've done here. You went as far as to lip-sync and key pose out almost every action. As someone who works primarily in fireaplaca, I know how hard it is to get a hang of it in that program too... No mistake: This is Animated. Put this in your damn portfolio/demo reel.

It's a very good animation, honestly, I consider it more animation than animatic just because of the fluidity between the movements, it really inspires me to make my animations, I would love for an animation this good to be more successful because it's really very good, literally, without lying, that's how I imagine an animated movie of Be More Chill.

This is one of the BEST animatics I've ever seen. It almost feels reductive to call this an animatic; it feels more like an animation. The sense of space, the way he moves around the room (the way you CLEARLY mapped out the setting holy SHIT that's dedication), the fluidity of the movements, the EXPRESSIONS????? MICHAELLLLLLL MY GUY I AM SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU EVEN THOUGHT I KNOW GOOD AND WELL HOW THIS SHOW ENDS. And goddddddd the last bit of him backing up into the tub nearly killed me 😭he was LITERALLY backing himself into a corner!!!!
I don't know what else to say that everyone else hasn't said far more eloquently. This is fantastic. How much do I have to pay you to animate the whole show like this.

Absolutely in love with all the camerawork you threw into this. It feels like we spend just enough time in each position before it changes. Michael's expressions and the musicality in his movements are so on point and beautiful. There are so many amazing takes and variations on this number on the site, but to me? This feels the most "right" of them all... It pushes the motion and emotion perfectly The grey scaling gives a perfect imagery of how the lighting in the scene should look, a moonlit spotlight from a window on the ceiling.
My only complaint about this animatic is that... Calling it an "animatic" feels like you're low-balling the amount of work that you've done here. You went as far as to lip-sync and key pose out almost every action. As someone who works primarily in fireaplaca, I know how hard it is to get a hang of it in that program too...
No mistake: This is Animated. Put this in your damn portfolio/demo reel.

It's a very good animation, honestly, I consider it more animation than animatic just because of the fluidity between the movements, it really inspires me to make my animations, I would love for an animation this good to be more successful because it's really very good, literally, without lying, that's how I imagine an animated movie of Be More Chill.

SECOND, this is the best Michael in the Bathroom animatic I’ve ever seen . Actually this is one of the best animatics I’ve ever seen period. I’m actually blown away. I almost want to pick apart every frame- THE CAMERA WORK?, THE EXPRESSIONS?!, THE MOVEMENT?!?. I feel like I could barley put into words how much I love this. Everything flows insanely well, Micheal is extremely expressive and the cinematography is insanely well done not to mention just how thematically and cinematically conherent it is. I seriously can’t get over how impressive the camera work is the fact that you get a feel for the bathroom as a 3D space and paired with Micheals expressions it makes it all the more real for him. This also makes the viewer really be able to understand his emotions and his character.
