All of it is live! Dan does pride himself in not lip syncing. He always records three times with three different camera angles and then chooses the best randition for the vocals.
I’ve seen this comment before and i don’t really understand how this works. The videos are definitely not done in one take. With that hair, continuity issues are noticeable. So if he is recording the audio and video at the same time, how does that work? Sorry if this is a stupid question. If he is recording but not wearing headphones, does that mean he can’t hear the guest performances while he is recording?
@@akemitakihi3735 so i guess the misunderstanding is in what is meant by “lip sync”. I would guess almost all musicians are singing out loud in the recording. Then later they match up the video with the pre recorded music. Matching the voice to the lips. That just makes sense. So why do people get so upset when a reactor says “lip sync”? Is it because that term is often used when people are fake singing (no voice) like in a live performance? When they are trying to fool the audience. Is the only difference whether they are silent or singing out loud? Does the term “lip sync” ALWAYS mean silent singing. If so what is it when they are singing out loud but the final audio is from a different recording? Again, sorry if this sounds stupid.
Yes, Dan definitely deserves recognition for the great physical shape that he’s in. He works very hard and is incredibly dedicated & regimented. He exercises & works out faithfully. He portions & weighs every meal. Everything in proper percentages. The exact percentage of protein, exact starches, etc. He doesn’t drink. Doesn’t smoke or do drugs. And it definitely shows!!💪👊
They completely turned this song around... Dan is such a fantastic singer, performer, composer, arranger.... and lots more.He is a genius at knowing what to do, when to do it, how to do it.... Dan does live.... always does. Sometimes it means multiple live sessions... then he edits them to get what he wants. Like I said ... he is a genius when it comes to music. Thank you for your reaction... And thanks for coming down the Vasc rabbit hole. You are in for quite a ride.😁👍
i have read, that dan has said, that when he hears a song he almost immediately knows what he wants to do with it. fun watching reactors reacting to the first few of dan's songs that they have heard. very informative and you're expressions were precious.
Dan Vasc´s version is the only one that exists for me! All others pale by comparison. Garett and Dan together are unbelievably ! Thank you for your reaction ! 😊
What an amazing interpretation of this iconic sad song made into a metal anthem. Dan is the premier artist on TH-cam and the world as we know it. He is so loved by his Vasc Nation. Happy travels to you and thank you for your reaction.
Thanks for reacting to my favorite singer. Dan Vasc doesn't record vocals and then lip sync for the video. He records vocals in his garage studio using 3 or 4 cameras from different angles and then chooses the shots he likes best to create his videos. He has many different facets to his talent and I'm always amazed at his vocal range, breath control, energy and the passion of his performance. The excellent guitarist on this song is Garrett J Peters who also plays on Dan's Dragonforce cover, Dawn Over a New World. I'm looking forward to seeing your reactions to many other Dan Vasc videos. You won't be disappointed.
@akemitakihi3735 you sound authoritive in your assumption. Unless Dan states it otherwise, I'll continue to believe his words in all his chats about how he records & edits. He's the *only* authority on it.
@@umarae27 mas foi o proprio Dan que falou como ele faz as gravações, antiganente ele realmente gravada ao vivo mas agora ele grava primeiro em estudio depois faz o video. @akemitakihi3735 , ah, I think I see. It's the interpretations of words. In English, he records with camera, then takes the camera to the studio to edit. He edits, by splicing together the video parts that he approves of. (Not just for us fans, but also so students can see how he does certain sounds, too). It takes a lot of skill & time to record, critique, and edit.
Thank you for your continued response to this epic cover by Dan and his guitarist Garrett J. Peters. They turned the saddest song in the world into a metal anthem. I didn't like the movie Titanic myself...but wow that made my day. Since Celine Dior didn't actually want to sing this song, I think in retrospect that it was both a blessing and a curse for her.
I love your twist on reaction videos, combining them with amazing travel spots! So cool!! It looks so beautiful there!! Yes, Dan has such a knack for making already great songs, even better! He’s a musical genius! He knows exactly what to change, and how, and where. And also knows what to keep as is. He doesn’t do anything gratuitously. Everything he does is with purpose. He does all of this while still paying incredible respect to the original song, and its artist. I’m sure you’ve been told by now that there’s no lip syncing here. Dan does things differently. What we’re seeing IS the video of him recording the vocals. That is THE video, the actual video of the vocals being recorded. I think it’s a brilliant way to do a video, and more authentic for his fans too! I’m looking forward to your next reaction and next beautiful destination!🫶
Great reaction once again to Dan Vasc. I loved how he reimagined this beautiful but sad ballad into a powerful metal anthem. I hope you will continue to react to Dan as you continue your travels, which I love to see. His cover of Bring Me to Life is so incredible, as well as Nessun Dorma, and so many others. I look forward to more of Dan and more of your travel videos. I live vicariously through you.
A brilliant performance by Dan and Garrett!❤❤ Please note that Dan is not a "lip syncing" guy. I love your concept of traveling as well as doing reactions, that's really different. Hoping for more Dan reactions, thankyou😃
I'm sure that Garret Peters (the guitarist) is performing this live (like Dan). The way Dan records his videos involves him singing the song several times, once for each camera angle. Then he picks his favorite of the audios and edits it together with clips from the videos. So, he's really singing (not lip[ syncing), but we're only hearing one of the recordings.
Sim realmente ele gravava assim antigamente mas agora ele grava primeiro o vocal em estudio e depois grava o video. Ele fala isso na entrevista Heavy Talk em portugues.
@@akemitakihi3735 I thought he might have updated his technique since the old days. But it's pretty obvious he's still actually singing in the videos, not simply lip syncing.
@@akemitakihi3735 Nope, lol. You’re confusing recording with editing. He records the vocals & physical video live, in one take, using several different cameras. THEN, he edits & splices the different cameras… their different views & angles from his 3 or 4 live recordings, into the glorious video that we see.🫶
Must be the day to write and lose comments...you can't go wrong reacting to Dan...perfect pitch, never a flat or a sharp, beautiful voice...he is simply the best artist in the world. He took this sad love song and turned it into a metal anthem and we are all blessed by it. May I suggest I'll Make a Man Out of You from Mulan, The Music of the Night from Phantom and Son of Pain by the Italian metal band Rhapsody of Fire...all divine. Thank you for your reaction and enjoy your travels which sound amaziing.
Dan has a video, where he explains how his videos are made, it’s very interesting and a lot of work. This rendition gave this tired classic a new and Epic life. Many thanks for your reaction.
The Charismatic voice went into detail, on the song Amazing grace, according to her, you can actually see his larynx move, at exactly the right places, which shows that he actually is singing, whilst recording. In Dan's early career, he used to perform the song 3 times, with 1 camera, set up at different angles, choosen the best angle for each shot in the video, these days he has 3 to 4 cameras, positioned while he is performing, then edits them to his liking. Thanks for the reaction. Side note. The only time, I can remember him recording the song and lip sing, is in the Loch Lomond video.
watch Loch Lomond again, at the end Dan speaks about that being the first time recording outside and please forgive him for any imperfections. His brother Davi did the recording.
His voice, talent and hard work will take him to the world of the biggest world stars! Dan blew up TH-cam!The internet is talking about this boy! God given talent! The miracle lives in your throat! .....and the hard work that got him this far! This boy is a real combination of talent, hard work and determination!!!!
I’ve noticed that you’ve reacted to Disney songs or covers on your channel. I think you would really like Dan’s revved up cover of Mulan~ I’ll Make A Man Out Of You. Most people say it’s even better than the original!🙌

Thanks for your reaction to the Amazing Dan! Now that you've started down the Rabbit HOle, please dont stop! Dan is indeed super savvy when knowing what, how, where to do his covers! Always better than the original i.m.o!
I don't' have much that hasn't been said already. Just further emphasize that is a great vocalist and spans many genres from opera to heavy metal. He know how to bring out in vocals and emotions and uplifting and inspiring. You have only dipped your toe in what he offers. 200+ videos and a loyal fanbase. He is on cusp of his goal to reach 1 million subscribers and should make it soon. Until your next reaction, dive safe.
Thanks, love the reaction and about how is he build this well… daily work-outs for years :-) From what I heard in a live stream he is pretty hard core about it
Dan is an absolutely amazing singer. He does everything from classic Italian opera to hard-core metal with even a hint of Elvis in between. He has a very loyal fan base of nearly 1,000,000 subscribers. I promise you if you react to more of his videos, your channel will grow also. As others have said, he does not lip sing. In several of his post videos, he explains how he records multiple angles live and then blends them all together. He does this out of his garage in Brazil. And it is also amazing to know that Portuguese is his first language. The word talented is not enough to describe this amazing man. ❤❤❤
Thanks for explaining the tilted larnyx thing in Amazing Grace and pointing it out here.. I've been fascinated by when Dan's singing truly grips me in places (I like to be gripped) Very visceral.
Great reaction and scenery! Dan is the most versatile singer I’ve ever seen! You should check his Bohemian Rhapsody, it’s a blast! Also his Witcher covers are Epic! I particularly love his Metal version of Priscilla’s Song, he has an acoustic version also Enjoy the Dan Vasc Universe! It’s an Epic Place!❤
I love this, it had to be done, the old version was getting a bit boring. But I also understand if some people might find this TOO much. But you can never do it right for everyone. Thank you for the reaction. Travel save and have fun.
I just wrote a long comment and lost it! Anyway, thanks for the great comments. Subbed, hoping for more Dan. Try The Music of the Night, or the Gethsemane scene from Jesus Christ Superstar. Dan does have a brilliant ability to bring to a song just what the song requires. 🎶 Loved hearing about Paraguay!
Check the next video for your comment. (The right arrow). I’ve had it happen to me a few times. The screen transitioned to the next song and so did my comment. I thought it disappeared but I found it 1/2 written on the next song and then it didn’t make any sense toward that song.
That happens to me a lot. As you already know, I'm sure, I write long comments most of the time. 😀 I wrote the one I just finished (11 hours after you wrote your note here), VERY carefully, making sure that I didn't connect badly with the you-know-whats that want to throw us out. I carefully copied it and saved it for myself on my computer, did a bit more editing and saved again, then gritted my teeth and sent it, and voila! For once, it's still there! Hooray! 😀
As far as I know Dan's videos are "live" meaning you are watching him sing not sing in a studio then "lip sync" it to the track. His garage is his studio that he records in and does a lot of the mixing and mastering himself (something I know nothing about). That is the thing that's nice about his videos to me is you get to see his actual singing and see some of the things he does to make the different pitches and colors to his voice. You need to hear one of his Manowar covers to see him really shine, "black wind, fire and steel" is a vocal powerlifting competition, battle hymn his best song though.
Asked him on a Livestream the other day, it is lip synced but he is actually singing. He records it in his studio, then he re sings/performs it where he shoots his videos then mashes them together. So you are watching him actually sing, that's just not the source of the audio your hearing, genius really.
You asked why his body looks like that. Constant grinding and persistence! Just look at him in 2010 at age 20, In "Go The Distance" th-cam.com/video/t6Lo_aMW7zk/w-d-xo.html , Dan looked like a 14 yr. old. First you SEE the hand of a 2010 scrawny kid who then quietly introduces himself for an audition video for his favorite band. Several old clips appear as you HEAR the improved 2018 Dan voice sing thru the years for a 100th video special. He not only worked on his voice, but also got more fit and strong in body, soul, and spirit. Dan's early videos were "cringe" in his words. Dan has several old videos he left up solely to encourage young musicians. He is inspiring so many others in so many ways.
Hi guy! Obrigada por mais uma reação ao Dan. Por favor, ouça Dan cantando Handel's Halleluiah. Você vai ver o trabalho que ele teve. Ele disse que foi um momento de insanidade. 😅 ❤ from Rio-Brazil.
Dan records 3 different times singing live and when he edits the video he puts the parts together, he doesn't lip sync, because he doesn't know how. It's him singing live and he edits the best parts from the 3 times he sang. The guitarist also recorded live and sent it to Dan to edit along with his singing.
Btw, faking guitar solos is a reputation killer in the metal scene. You can't live it down. Everyone knows that the filmed take is not usually the one listened, but you got to deliver live. Gareth is a teacher and session player. Monster guitarist, he made the track for the Carry On cover in record time for Dan's homage to André Matos, for example.
I also will chime in with those who know.... Dan, absolutely, does not LIPSYNCH! Anybody who does, generally, can be caught by watching his videos. Dan, usually, does his own arrangements, mixes, and mastering!
Today, 4-25-24 , I just saw and heard Dan stream that he has to record VOCALS in his home studio, not in his garage. (As I had previously read.) He records his best vocal audio, and then goes into his garage to film the video from 3 different angles. Although he is ACTUALLY SINGING 3 times while the making videos, he can't use the vocals he sang while filming because the acoustics are bad in the garage
I believe he does choose the best single vocal track then mixes in the 3 different camera angles for best effect. In this case he also mixes in the guitar tracks with his vocals He is professional and a Master of Music. The other instrumental tracks are mixed in also. That is why his videos are so very excellent and entertaining. He used to do his own mastering but now contracts that out I truly enjoy his work .
Again, Dan doesn’t lip sync! He’s actually singing in the video! I wish reactors wouldn’t assume that “everyone" records then does the video. Also, Garrett’s name as guitarist is right on the screen at the beginning of the video. Dan is a genius and is very astute at all things musical. He has a studio in his home!
I'm really curious how your reaction to another metal singer would be: Tommy Johansson. He's from Sweden and until a few weeks ago was a member of Sabaton. He's a musician who plays every instrument himself and has an amazingly beautiful voice. Dan and Tommy are the best! Hi, from Germany 😊
Any time you find yourself full of assumptions, tune in to Dan's Handel's Hallelujah, for one. He's the genuine article. Oh! And be sure to check out his double tasking abilities where he's playing a video game and starts singing The Last Goodbye, *while* playing the game Accapella, even. So beautiful. He's genuine. I think Garrett played & recorded separately, but I'm pretty much just guessing
I read that Garrett recorded his part in California, USA. Many of the musicians featured in Dan’s videos are actually on different continents than Dan is. The magic of his editing brings them together. He has friends all over the world.
#GabrielHenrique I have a suggestion for your reaction! The talented Gabriel Henrique with the covers MY HEART YOU GO ON on by Celine Dion and STAND UP by Cynthia Erivo. Both songs in Gabriel's voice.
Oh, man! When you said "lip sync," I cringed, because I knew you'd be in trouble. Then I read down through the comments, and realized that there are misunderstandings of the term "lip sync" in a variety of different ways. I'm going to try to state the reality, so that everyone can understand at least the BASIC mechanics. I'm going to say something FIRST, that might get people "up in arms" a little bit, also, but bear with me. - - - - - - - - - - I want you to think, FIRST, of a track that has been made so that people may enjoy singing with it, either at home, or at a karaoke place. Don't shoot me and leave, please. I am absolutely NOT, IN ANY WAY, saying that Dan is "just a glorified karaoke singer." Another example of the same application, is to think of yourself sitting in your car or at home, and suddenly you hear an instrumental version of a song you know VERY well, so you smile, sit up straighter, and begin to SING ALONG WITH that ONLY-INSTRUMENTAL track. For instance, most of you (probably in just about any language), would probably know the MUSIC for the song, "Jingle Bells." If you don't know that one, more than likely you will know the MUSIC for "Silent Night," when you hear it. Or just think of any song you know, in any language, with which you will immediately, in your head, be singing the lyrics, though you may or may not actually begin singing to it, out loud. - - - - - - - - - - Now consider that if you WANTED to, you could (fairly easily) set up a video camera (with an internal microphone, or also set up a microphone) in your living room, bedroom, dining room, or wherever you want, making sure that the camera is trained on YOU. Then you would begin to play that already-recorded music track, AS YOU SING TO IT. When you get to the end of the track, and finish your singing, you could then stop your recording hardware, then listen to and watch your finished song. That's pretty simplistic, but you probably would still want to edit out any little things that might have sneaked in (like the kitten trying to jump up on your lap, perhaps). THAT IS NOT, AND YOU WERE NOT LIP-SYNCING. - - - - - - - - - - OK...now...before I get a bit more complicated, let me tell you how to find Garrett (who was born in, and lives in, California) online (no links...just info you can use to find those yourself). First of all, you could just go to Instagram, and search for: garrettjpeters. On his page, he gives you all the info you need, in order to contact him for work you might like him to do for you. When you bring up his account on Instagram, you'll see a finger pointing downward to his website address. It's as easy as that. Once you go THERE, you can find out what else you need to know, and how to contact Garrett personally. Or...you can just type into your address bar: garrettjpeters (then add the usual dot and com), and you're right there where you want to be. Once you contact him, you can arrange for exactly what you need, to be done, and then sent to you. - - - - - - - - - - So...Dan would have done that, and arranged for Garrett to send him either two separate tracks (one for Electric Guitar and one for Electric Bass), or an already-mixed single track that already had the Electric Guitar and the Electric Bass parts overlaid and synced (which simply means matched so that the ALREADY-PLAYED rhythms SOUNDED like they both had been played at one time, which would have been impossible, since Garrett played both instruments. THEN... Dan would set up some semblance of the following, in his studio. He would have the track(s) sent by Garrett ready to WATCH (somewhere in front of him, or slightly to the side of him, perhaps, because he throws a glance at Garrett now and then) AND LISTEN TO (through earbuds). He would also have his OWN cameras (plural, these days) set to record JUST HIMSELF AND HIS ACTIONS, WHICH INCLUDES HIM SINGING OUT LOUD, right there and then, to the INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC ONLY that he's hearing through his earbuds. In this case, I'm guessing that Dan may have recorded at least three, and maybe four PARTS of the finished video, because he had several entries and exits to make. However, he COULD have recorded it all in one go, then edited out anything extraneous. Those decisions are absolutely up to the artist(s), and everyone would do things somewhat differently, as circumstances also dictate. THEN... Once ALL OF THE TRACKS were finished (or deemed at that point, to be finished) THEN comes the MIXING. I've done some of that in VERY elementary ways, but never had to mix a visual track with any of my vocal tracks. I HAVE, however, done all of the PARTS before, and then mixed THEM, so that the result is as if there were four of me singing at one time. AGAIN...THAT IS NOT LIP-SYNCING. THEN... Once the MIXING is done, the MASTERING happens. In this case, here is what Dan told us in the video''s Description: Vocals by Dan Vasc Bass and electric guitars by @GarrettJPeters Drums programming, piano, keyboards and orchestra by Dan Vasc Arranged by Dan Vasc and Gabriel Belozi Mixed by Dan Vasc Mastered by Tony Lindgren IN OTHER WORDS... Dan did ALL the SINGING. Dan PROGRAMMED a drum MIDI, and may have played, or at least recorded a piano, some other keyboards, and some other orchestral accompaniment music. Dan and Gabriel made the entire ARRANGEMENT (what they wanted the finished project to look and sound like) ahead of time -- working together on the project. Dan took ALL RECORDED TRACKS (however many of them were available and necessary), and then MIXED THEM TOGETHER, in order to make the RAW end result. Dan then sent that RAW file to Tony Lindgren, who did all the things that MASTERING includes (which BASICALLY means that he made sure that everything was EXACTLY as it should be, without anything left behind that shouldn't have still been there once the mixing was complete, or vice versa). I'm not sure, but making sure all copyright permissions are in order, might be a big part of the mastering, as well. I haven't studied out that part thoroughly. Once that was all completed, and the file was sent back to Dan for approval (or some semblance of those actions), Dan would then have posted the video that LOOKS as if it was all produced in one place, with both Dan and Garrett doing what they were doing, in plain view of each other, while playing and singing together, which (of course) they were not. AGAIN...THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY NO LIP-SYNCING GOING ON. PERIOD. - - - - - - - - - - For a good, solid explanation of the term "lip-sync" (which can also be spelled lip-synch, and which is short for lip-sinchronization) you can use the term "Lip sync" while searching through WIKIPEDIA. If you read carefully, then compare what is stated there, to what I've written here, you should be able to see the differences.
Yes. Simply put, it is Dan, video recording himself as if he were recording himself singing karaoke, live. Good way to describe it! I hope this finally puts this to rest in these comments because it’s not what should be the focus in my opinion. I think most people understand it. There seemed to be one person in the comments who misinterpreted words, I think in large part, due to a language barrier and translation. ETA: I too cringed when I heard the mention of lip syncing and pre-recording vocals because I knew exactly what would happen in the comments…. and it did. Lol
@@akemitakihi3735 the "wrong" is done when it is *stated* as a fact, when it is only assumed. Reactors also (just like the rest of us) need to be careful about who they're allowing themselves to be persuaded by.
Please refrain from using such a terrible descriptive term, such as lip synging. I'll agree to the descriptive word of dubbing over, but never ever to the lowlife word of lip singing. Your not the 1st, but you're too likeable of a person to let it continue. (If it continues, you'll become a dreaded person instead of a wonderful person, in the ears of viewers like me). I hope you understand that you're loved enough to be honest with. Fantastic reaction. (Minus the 1 blurb).
I agree. It was a harmless assumption made by many reactors at first…. as many (if not most) artists DO record their visuals & vocals separately. I’m loosely paraphrasing but as GranniesGot Grace stated it very well…. it’s like Dan is recording himself singing karaoke.
All of it is live! Dan does pride himself in not lip syncing. He always records three times with three different camera angles and then chooses the best randition for the vocals.

Correct. I think he'd be deeply insulted that anyone thought that. He also does all of the background vocals and the arrangements.

Haha hey Elaine! More to come! I’m really intrigued by the Nessun Dorma performance so watch this space! Have a fun day :)
@@CoverCoachDan’s Nessun Dorma is breathtaking!!!!🙌
Dan has stated in a few of his live streams and in interviews that he doesn't lip sync. Just believe us, there are too many of us that know LOL.
THEN, he edits & splices the different cameras… their different views & angles from his 3 or 4 live recordings, into the glorious video that we see.🫶
I don’t know about Garret for sure but I would bet that he is also recording his playing guitar live.
@@elissahunt Sim para o vídeo final ficar perfeito o Dan está realmente cantando mas o que você ouve é a gravação que ele fez em estudio primeiro.
Thank you for reacting to this latest cover by Dan Vasc! I enjoy every little bit of this song.
Other completely different songs are The Last Goodbye (very emotional) or Dawn Of Victory with Fabio Leone.
Thanks for a great reaction! 😄
YES!! Both are epic!
Please do Gethsemane and SON of Pain !!
Yesss! 👍😊
Dan has a video, where he explains how his videos are made, it’s very interesting and a lot of work. This rendition gave this tired classic a new and Epic life. Many thanks for your reaction.
It's brilliant. I love the part where they slow it down.

Maravilhoso demais perfeito o DAN VASC um artista completo ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
He rocks every song he sings, especially Amazing Grace! It was so beautiful.

@@CoverCoach Yeah i think so to 😉
I just wrote a long comment and lost it!
Hey! Ah hate it when that happens! Thanks for rewriting. Loads more to come, loving getting to know Dan’s stuff. Have a fun day :)
Been there, done that! (Wrote a long post and lost it.)
Hooray! 😀
Love the overthe top energy in this song. Dan us so present and powerful. Garret Peters did a phenomenol rendition of this music.
Dan vasc is a freakin metal god!
Yes to "Battle Hymn"!😃
Exactly!!
Asked him on a Livestream the other day, it is lip synced but he is actually singing. He records it in his studio, then he re sings/performs it where he shoots his videos then mashes them together. So you are watching him actually sing, that's just not the source of the audio your hearing, genius really.
@@thesingingtiggs4781 YES!!!!!!
I also love to see your travel videos ‼️
We love Dan!
Perfectly said! Love it! 😀
Hi guy!
Obrigada por mais uma reação ao Dan.
Por favor, ouça Dan cantando Handel's Halleluiah. Você vai ver o trabalho que ele teve.
Ele disse que foi um momento de insanidade. 😅
❤ from Rio-Brazil.
Dan records 3 different times singing live and when he edits the video he puts the parts together, he doesn't lip sync, because he doesn't know how. It's him singing live and he edits the best parts from the 3 times he sang. The guitarist also recorded live and sent it to Dan to edit along with his singing.
Great reaction, enjoyed it! Dan can sing anything……You should listen to Nessun Dorma, exceptionally beautiful……Dan never disappoints!!!
You should listen to his the phantom of the opera cover's
I love Dan. Merci ⚜️🇨🇦❤️🔥😈🫶
Dantastic , tks
Btw, faking guitar solos is a reputation killer in the metal scene. You can't live it down. Everyone knows that the filmed take is not usually the one listened, but you got to deliver live.
Gareth is a teacher and session player. Monster guitarist, he made the track for the Carry On cover in record time for Dan's homage to André Matos, for example.
Yep
😊love this man
Please let us know what you think about his cover of Nessun Dorma. ❤ I'd love to know your opinion.
I also will chime in with those who know.... Dan, absolutely, does not LIPSYNCH! Anybody who does, generally, can be caught by watching his videos. Dan, usually, does his own arrangements, mixes, and mastering!
Amazing Grace was done in his garage studi,3 cameras, 3 takes
Today, 4-25-24 , I just saw and heard Dan stream that he has to record VOCALS in his home studio, not in his garage. (As I had previously read.) He records his best vocal audio, and then goes into his garage to film the video from 3 different angles. Although he is ACTUALLY SINGING 3 times while the making videos, he can't use the vocals he sang while filming because the acoustics are bad in the garage
I believe he does choose the best single vocal track then mixes in the 3 different camera angles for best effect. In this case he also mixes in the guitar tracks with his vocals
He is professional and a Master of Music. The other instrumental tracks are mixed in also. That is why his videos are so very excellent and entertaining. He used to do his own mastering but now contracts that out
I truly enjoy his work .
No one lip sync’s in the Vasc Nation!! Dan Only Ever Sings Live!!?
Again, Dan doesn’t lip sync! He’s actually singing in the video!
I wish reactors wouldn’t assume that “everyone"
records then does the video. Also, Garrett’s name as guitarist is right on the screen at the beginning of the video. Dan is a genius and is very astute at all things musical. He has a studio in his home!
I'm really curious how your reaction to another metal singer would be:
Tommy Johansson.

Dan is a classically trained opera vocalist! Where can we find your songs posted??
- - - - - - - - - -
I want you to think, FIRST, of a track that has been made so that people may enjoy singing with it, either at home, or at a karaoke place.
- - - - - - - - - -
Now consider that if you WANTED to, you could (fairly easily) set up a video camera (with an internal microphone, or also set up a microphone) in your living room, bedroom, dining room, or wherever you want, making sure that the camera is trained on YOU.
- - - - - - - - - -
OK...now...before I get a bit more complicated, let me tell you how to find Garrett (who was born in, and lives in, California) online (no links...just info you can use to find those yourself).
- - - - - - - - - -
So...Dan would have done that, and arranged for Garrett to send him either two separate tracks (one for Electric Guitar and one for Electric Bass), or an already-mixed single track that already had the Electric Guitar and the Electric Bass parts overlaid and synced (which simply means matched so that the ALREADY-PLAYED rhythms SOUNDED like they both had been played at one time, which would have been impossible, since Garrett played both instruments.
In this case, here is what Dan told us in the video''s Description:
Vocals by Dan Vasc
Bass and electric guitars by @GarrettJPeters
Drums programming, piano, keyboards and orchestra by Dan Vasc
Arranged by Dan Vasc and Gabriel Belozi
Mixed by Dan Vasc
Mastered by Tony Lindgren
IN OTHER WORDS...
PERIOD.
- - - - - - - - - -
For a good, solid explanation of the term "lip-sync" (which can also be spelled lip-synch, and which is short for lip-sinchronization) you can use the term "Lip sync" while searching through WIKIPEDIA.
ETA: I too cringed when I heard the mention of lip syncing and pre-recording vocals because I knew exactly what would happen in the comments…. and it did. Lol
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this explanation!! So we'll said!!!
For lip-syncing, I enjoy watching Ben & Zara, the father-daughter act.
@@akemitakihi3735 the "wrong" is done when it is *stated* as a fact, when it is only assumed. Reactors also (just like the rest of us) need to be careful about who they're allowing themselves to be persuaded by.
