July 22nd was so interesting- because it was the clearest her tone sounded post Jamaica until 2017. Idk if she warmed up- but she was using nasality in the "correct" way in my opinion, and she kept a nice mix which allowed her to reach Eb5 in VOL with ease rather than having a shouty quality like 2016. People are saying she sounds odly rainbow- and I agree, there's something pleasant about her soft use of nasality as opposed to nasality in 2005, daydream or caution

I think that's a little harsh. Her voice was already transitioning from 2014, where she appeared to have more ease in D5s (excluding Beacon). But she adapted to this new voice through vowel modifications and a different tone. It might not be as pleasant, but she was hitting notes with confidence, and we should appreciate this period of her voice.
