Don't know if armour reduces bleed damage too, but consider this; Maybe poison would be slower than bleed, could only be healed by medkits (maybe add another item to specifically heal poison too?), and would be applied the same regardless of armour.
In Spoon's last video, either he or Pheetus made a great point: hitting an animal with an arrow should slow down its movement speed proportionally to damage inflicted. Rust devs...make it happen!!!!
Put wild horses back in and lassos. Craft saddles. Let the ranch buy back horses for scrap. Also make horses walk around and eat grass when not being rode.

Obviously, Rust can't make headshots or heart shots instantly fatal to animals, but I think that nerfing their run speed regardless would be a good compromise! We're not looking for literal realism, we're looking for good gameplay.
Imagine a Zerg collects all the planes. They have a handful of people go out on the ground, but then send up like 12 people in planes. Anytime someone on the ground spots someone, a plane just falls from the sky on top of them. They could even make it so you can turn the engine off and glide (I used to love doing that in DayZ) -- so you're just walking along, living your best Rust life when a silent plane flies into you and explodes.
I feel like rust's development is becoming quicker and more reliable each year, its the only indie game i've actually seen make it out of alpha with minimal bugs, an actual functional game, i have a lot of respect for facepunch, they dont just grab the money and scam the community, always content being added regular patches or bug fixes, honestly can we get a W for facepunch guys.
Fr i went from playing Ark (both evolved and ascended) and the devs never patched bugs like meshing or game breaking bugs and making the game worse (was still fun) then went to rust and saw game breaking bugs/exploits get patched within a week
@@moto3463 True but i think cheaters are becoming a massive problem for every game now because they have their own community's where they share cheats and patches, basically endlessly avoiding the anti cheat, if you play on community servers cheaters are less common because of the mods who are always active,
I think planes would only really make sense on the largest of maps unless they made them have a very short takeoff distance. It would be very cool though.
Planes could be fun, a little goofy, but I know of one specific use that would be awesome...Floatplanes. Can take off and land on the water, which could make for some incredibly fast means of travel across the map and also to other locations like the oil rigs and such. High risk because of slower take off times, but could be super fun.
Im with you on that one! Its nice to see more games including these options mods arent always reliable. Someone modded the Ark: Survival Evolved supply drop colours but then never updated the mod and (at last I saw) it hadn't been included in the base game. It was nice to actually know what colour the drops actually were.

I want to see the Bandit race. A serverwide announcement over PA systems (monuments and player created) telling everybody to get to the roads to watch, audience participation (and destruction.) All Mad-Max style vibes. My only gripe is the current car system isn't quite suited, it's quite easy to take down cars right now, so it would be an easy event to grief. Planes are a big second for me. I know they'd be unwieldy and the helis would be better, I just like flying planes.
Planes make sense as an aggressive counter to helis, give them some powerful forward fixed weaponry and make them faster than helis- A good plane pilot could just joust an attack heli out of the sky on a well-aimed pass. I can see them being a menace to scrap helicopters and balloons as well. Give the plane 2 seats, enable a buddy to fly along or act as your gunner Give some planes floats so they can land in water, etc. :)
We need a building revamp. Its been too long since building has been looked at. Integrated bunkers, bug patches, QOL updates and new building entittys would be amazing.
What rust needs is airships that players can land on and loot :P Or heck--- take over as a home, similar to a boat. And since they float in air, you would only need fuel to move them in direction you want them to.
I think the planes could be cool if u can load them with guns (like on sentry turrets) and then bombs too, or grenades, c4 etc and get into bombing raids and dogfights, on the other side of that, scrap AA guns that can be loaded with regular rockets/ HV rockets would be really cool. Helis are good for transport but as a solo, offers no defensive/ offensive capabilities. A plane that could have a bomb bay and turret points put on (like how the car is modular) would offer a greater use for solos as well as for teams. Imagine getting your own air force, made up of a ton of little teams going toe to toe with another air force made up of opposing teams, bomb raids, dogfighting, ground combat etc. It could possibly change the way we play with the right implementation and balancing

@@tuck232 I'm studying to be a game dev so a lot of this stuff is good practice for me, they sound good on paper but the fun bit is building little tests for a couple weeks and having that lightbulb moment where it all comes together and works exactly as you want it to. Hopefully they're thinking similarly to me because the planes are cool but without stuff surrounding them they're shooting themselves in the foot. that perfect push/ pull flow where it feels punishing and rewarding when ur on the wrong/ right side of it

Maybe planes would be a viable option if they were faster and used less fuel than helis (as they in fact do). That is definitely something I would like to see added to the game. Let the pilot alone control guns, rockets, bombs. Add a slot for explosives and let players run suicide missions :D

Advantages of planes : - Bombing your enemies - Roleplaying with them (they seem to be on a roll with that lately etc bikes barrels and building skins) - Parachuting out of them - Faster travel than other aerial vehicles Pretty much some nice stuff so I don't mind these updates.
You know what I want in rust, if all of my materials are inside my base I should be able to craft whatever I want with ought getting the items from the chest. That is one of the best features in palworld and I wish every survival crafting game would implement it
Box sorting is huge and racing would be cool. Though im not sure if racing fits rusts theme. Same with planes. I already thought the attack heli was too much.
I wish bandit would have those old carnival horse races you could bet on. Have like 6 different horses and it being RNG whichever one finishes first. Then you could make it so you could bet on 1st, 2nd, 3rd ect for a higher payout. As far as monuments an old scary carnival would be cool. Ferris wheel or merry go round you could turn on and ride. Fun room, slides, horror house. Just seems like a fun monument the devs would enjoy building.
Those world generation options sound really cool. Imagine a map with all connected caves (If possible) with a mountainous terrain (making less space for building above ground).
We need a thunderdome. Two walk in, One walks out. Loser gets tempbanned from the server for the remainder of the wipe. Add prison next to the thunderdome, and you can see NPC copies of the losers for the rest of the wipe.
Would be cool if they add a plane to have it as a cargo plane where you can store a couple large boxes worth of space in the back and maybe have a weight mechanic to it. Would be useful, cool, probably not broken
If they do end up going with adding radios, I’d like for them to have a cb radio option so that way we can communicate with cars in a sort of convoy or with a base.
Planes with a bay to drop grenades, molotovs, and slots to add rocket laucnhers or the different handguns to change the weaponry would be sweet like all the other vehicles. Can you imagine people flying Eoka armed planes?

The cave system is one of the oldest features of the game. It would be amazing to see a rework of the caves with the modern version of the game in mind. More caves, procedural caves, maybe even connect to the tunnels below? The potential!
Here's some ideas of mine. Make tug boats actual tugboats by being able to tow a small boat, rhib, sub, etc. 😅 jetskis would be a cool new item as well, ideally you could mount it on the tug boat as well Make toilets an actual BP, and make a mechanic for needing to use the toilet with the piping tool or be exposed if doing it au natural in the woods. Recipes, where combining certain foods such as deer meat, hemp, and berries creates a meat and veggies dish with extra stackable bonuses, a kitchen sink and stove/microwave could be added to game to make this work. This would help players make use of various foods like corn pumpkin etc instead of spamming hemp and potato farms. J

I feel like a cargo plane such as v22 osprey would be cool, just because of yhe carfo feature to move multiple people for example to oil and the VTOL feature would make sense aswell.
I think the planes should be fast with pretty good protection but no weapons. Good for getting around really fast and maybe some storage in like a cargo area.
I just want to be able to jump when riding a horse. Stop adding in more vehicles when horses still cant jump, it would solve the problem of them still getting stuck.

Realistically an animal would get an adrenaline rush when shot.

I wish bandit would have those old carnival horse races you could bet on. Have like 6 different horses and it being RNG whichever one finishes first. Then you could make it so you could bet on 1st, 2nd, 3rd ect for a higher payout.
As far as monuments an old scary carnival would be cool. Ferris wheel or merry go round you could turn on and ride. Fun room, slides, horror house. Just seems like a fun monument the devs would enjoy building.
It could also be entirely virtual aswell like blackjack, and put it in the casino at outpost even?

Radios? It would be memes to have pirate radio stations hosted by players. Imagine a Mr Wobbles rust radio station!
We need a thunderdome. Two walk in, One walks out. Loser gets tempbanned from the server for the remainder of the wipe. Add prison next to the thunderdome, and you can see NPC copies of the losers for the rest of the wipe.

Would be cool if they add a plane to have it as a cargo plane where you can store a couple large boxes worth of space in the back and maybe have a weight mechanic to it. Would be useful, cool, probably not broken

Planes with a bay to drop grenades, molotovs, and slots to add rocket laucnhers or the different handguns to change the weaponry would be sweet like all the other vehicles. Can you imagine people flying Eoka armed planes?

They have hilariously short runway requirements and can land on either hard surfaces or the water.
The cave system is one of the oldest features of the game. It would be amazing to see a rework of the caves with the modern version of the game in mind. More caves, procedural caves, maybe even connect to the tunnels below? The potential!
Imagine if they made something like cargo but air based with the only way to get on is through flying vehicles
Here's some ideas of mine.
Make tug boats actual tugboats by being able to tow a small boat, rhib, sub, etc. 😅 jetskis would be a cool new item as well, ideally you could mount it on the tug boat as well
Make toilets an actual BP, and make a mechanic for needing to use the toilet with the piping tool or be exposed if doing it au natural in the woods.
Recipes, where combining certain foods such as deer meat, hemp, and berries creates a meat and veggies dish with extra stackable bonuses, a kitchen sink and stove/microwave could be added to game to make this work. This would help players make use of various foods like corn pumpkin etc instead of spamming hemp and potato farms.

As a roleplayer, adding the arabic language with planes is nice
I feel like a cargo plane such as v22 osprey would be cool, just because of yhe carfo feature to move multiple people for example to oil and the VTOL feature would make sense aswell.
I think the planes should be fast with pretty good protection but no weapons. Good for getting around really fast and maybe some storage in like a cargo area.

Not arsed about planes, I'd still love buildable boats, so build base to the size you want and build on it in the same was as usual.
I just want to be able to jump when riding a horse. Stop adding in more vehicles when horses still cant jump, it would solve the problem of them still getting stuck.
