    Thank you so much for the tutorial! I've been watching several Notion videos already and as a beginner, it's so overwhelming and complicated until I found your video.

    love love love this template! im really new to using notion so i was wondering if you had a way creating different properties for different journals on the same page?

    • @theorganizednotebook
      @theorganizednotebook  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying our template! 😊 Notion makes it so that all databases entries must have the same properties. In this case it wouldn’t be possible to add different properties to different journals. Our suggestion would be that you could add more properties than you need and leave some empty depending on your needs or categorize the journals and create separate databases depending on what properties you want inside! Hope this helps and let us know if you have further questions!

      @@theorganizednotebook honestly that would have made my life way easier LMAO. i took the hard route of making each notebook its own database and linked table 🤦‍♂

    the filter does not work, as the new one does not appear.

    • @theorganizednotebook
      @theorganizednotebook  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, thank you for your comment. As we'd love to help you out, would you please clarify where you had the issue with the filter function (whether it is in my Journals database or My Journal Entries database?).
      Please note "Filter" only functions when you apply the filter value and save for the current view.

    why not use tags instead of having separate journals.

    • @theorganizednotebook
      @theorganizednotebook  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for watching our videos! Using tags could also be a solution depending on your needs! In this case, we decided to go with separate journals in case that you would like to add specific journal related content inside of the journals database (For example - Reviews, Reflections, Resources). We also like to be able to click into a journal and see all entries instead of creating tabbed filters or linking to the filter. We hope this clarifies it!
