Walks to burger king, orders nothing, then simply walks home. A nihilistic portrayal of achieving one's dreams. Upon reaching his destination, the man reflects upon the road that led him there, ultimately realizing he no longer desires that which he journeyed so far for. He then simply leaves it all behind and returns back to where he started with naught but lost time and weary legs

What's odd about this song is that it feels like a parody from the early 2010s, but it's not, it's only from 2020. It gives me a certain feeling of false nostalgia that I haven't gotten from anything else.
It reminds me of those old song parody TH-cam videos like “Baby Doll” and “Jalapeño”, where the guy just sang the tune of the popular songs of the time and changed the lyrics to assorted random sentences.
Me when I have to analyze poetry for school: *I sleep* Me when I have to analyze "I walk to Burger King": "I walk to Burger King (Official Music Video)" is a song posted by user NcScott on 28th of July of 2020 and it's one of the staple of today's music industry. "I walk to Burger King" uses a simple language, similar to famous Italian poet Giuseppe Ungaretti, and the lyrics state: "I walk to Burger King" "I walk back home from Burger King" Here we find an "AA" ryhme scheme with an epiphora at the end of each line with the word "Burger King". There's also an alliteration with the letter "k" (walK, bacK, King). Behind the simple words that compose the whole song we can spot a hidden meaning, a whole hidden story: the author wants to tell us of all the good times when his friends were alive and he spent time with them at Burger King, as reflected in the clips of the video. Now, every time he walks to Burger King, he can't help himself but go back, with the pain of loss in his heart, thinking of all the good times: this is also reflected halfway through the video, where the words "I walk" are spoken with a distorted sound effect as to signify the poet's depression and this reality he's been trapped in of which he wants to escape from but can't because the pain is just too heavy, and this is also reflected in the clips shown of huge fields which are like the poet screaming how he wants to be free and run into those fields but can't because, as reflected in the clip itself, he's trapped in a car, the cage, a cage of pain and remorse. "I walk to Burger King" is a reminder of how we must not spend our lives in vain of regret, we need to escape from pain and sadness in order to achieve freedom again. After the music is over, the poet gives us another clip of him laughing with his lost friends, followed by a "Thanks for watching" slide: the video is an attempt of the poet to try and get back to the old past he lost, while the slide is telling us that he is greatful for having us there, listen to his condition and he wants for us to not commit his same mistake, since it is too late for him: this last part is represented by the clip shown after the slide, where a man who just got a new haircut (supposedly looking like one of the poet's old friends) turns himself into a demon, symbol of Hell, the same hell from which the poet can't escape.

The repetition symbolizes the drudgery of life and the author’s own struggles with mortality. There is no real variation in the words however the change in tone and the music show us that while everything is mostly the same life still changes. The author is clearly demotivated and dealing with hardships in his private life.
