  • In this TH-cam video, we address a customer complaint regarding front end noise. We first investigate the issue by checking the splash guard, as the customer had previously visited another shop with similar complaints. However, upon further inspection, we identified an enormous amount of play in the front right wheel bearing and steering knuckle. To ensure the safety of the vehicle, we recommend shaking down the front wheels to rule out any potential danger. Stay tuned to see how we resolve this issue and keep our customer safe on the road. #lexus #wheelbearing #car #rx400h

      The spindle nut is M22-1.5. You’ll need a 32mm socket

    Do you have a link to the parts you used? Just had my car looked at today and the play in both front wheels is far worse than this car… can’t seem to find a whole assembly like you had from Lexus but I do see some things similar on rock auto.

      Contact me at the email I can provide the part. Dealership discontinues older model parts from catalogue.

    How do you get the ABS sensor out of the hub?

    • @EAUTODR
      @EAUTODR  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@noobguy57 wiggle and a little lube, grab shoulder of sensor with needle nose pliers and gently twist.

      @EAUTODR awesome thanks! I got it out, now currently trying to get the tie rod free with a hammer. It's quite stuck, hoping I don't have to go out and find a separator

      @@noobguy57 spray it down with some WD 40. It’ll come right out.

      @EAUTODR it ended up not coming out unfortunately. I would have been real out of luck if the tie rod boot broke, but it was very very seized. I was able to do everything else however thanks to the video, just couldn't get the knuckle off due to that. I'll have to try at a garage with an air hammer or have someone else do the job. It's a midwest car so everything had rust! But it wouldn't be that bad of a job on a southern car! Thank you for the video however!

      @@noobguy57 yes, try soaking it overnight. Do you have a autozone or Oriellys to possibly rent a tie rod fork removal tool. Keep up the good work, I believe you can get it done. Take a break grab the fork and complete in the morning.
