I wanna point out the fact that the dude in battlefield holds all the guns more uncentered and tilting to the side a bit, like he cant truly hold the gun perfectly straight unlike vanguard. I think it gives them more personality
I like how in battlefield 5 they actually use the brens carry handle for its correct purpose rather than just holding onto some random part of the barrel.
Battlefield is a series that always had soul and passion poured into each installment. It feels like with 2042 that EA stuck their hands in it a ton and forced DICE to release a game that they had tons of ambition for but EA forced them to launch it before it was given the time it needed.
Oh yeah because soldiers in ww2 were holding their pistols with two hands and tacticool reloading. Honestly this is what I hate about call of duty now. Activision (and everyone else for some reason) thinks that all the animations and the feel of the game have to be identical to modern warfare, when they will always look and feel worse. Also, its just boring. Wow, more "ultra realistic" reloads where the guy just wiggles his hands around a lot. Not saying that battlefield doesnt do that, but they make there animations unique and fun, while cod wants to be realistic and boring
Vanguard would've been good if they didn't try so hard to imitate modern warfare. They chose to fit in than to stand out. But the game is meant to be played and enjoyed, not to make everyone game professionals criticizing it for every wrong it did.
I will say some of the models and animations in Vanguard are spectacular - rifles in particular. You can definitely tell a whole lot more work went into these than in COD WWII. I think Vanguard is getting a lot of hate simply because COD sucks, not the animations, textures, models, or sounds That said, I haven't played a COD game since Black Ops 2 or a Bf game since Bf3
Oh man, both suck, both have something better than the other. I love how in BF5 that damn 1911 doesn't have working slide stop and when the mag is empty, you can clearly see how it looks like the gun has a malfunction or its jammed haha.

Almost all of us can agree that, despite the outrage Battlefield V started up, it has more soul to it than the souless game that Vanguard is.

A little tip for people using the m30 drilling in BFV: the rifle bullet has no drop to it so it’s basically the best sniper in the game.

Both games have pretty good weapon animations, but BF5 NAILS IT when it comes to sound design in my opinion!

Battlefield V is a different game while Vanguard is just a reskin of Modern Warfare. So in my opinion Battlefield V gets a pass.
