Today we’re talking about transitions for Instagram Reels, part two! I was asked by my followers and students to talk about three more transitions, including swiping up, snapping, and spinning. Thank you so much for sharing these videos. I honestly was clueless. I just have 1 question about transition. How to people do the transition when it comes to locations. For instance being a home and then switching to the beach. Are you able to see the video? If so how because I thought the alignment needed to work during that first take video.
I’m just thinking how is it done? It’s not like I can get to the beach in 10 minutes? And sometimes the Instagram crashes so how can it be saved? Please help me understand
Hey there!! GREAT question, I have been asked this multiple times so I think I will make a video on it soon - but essentially you would either follow this process and save it as a draft in between (then navigate back to your draft). You can also film the clips outside Instagram in your Camera app, then piece them together at the end.

Hi! Aw you’re so sweet thank you! Editing the video after you film it (when filming it with audio) won’t mess up the audio. It stays the same even as you edit/film video clips! Is that what you mean?
@@StephanieKase thank you for replying.❤ hmm I mean.. if the audio in reels is, let's say, 4 sec before a beat hits... if i make a 4 sec video.. but I cut some of it off... then the video would be shorter than the audio? Hard to explain 😂😂

Hey. You could save that part of your reel in drafts and then shoot the rest in the new location. Just go to the share to button at the bottom and then click on save to drafts. :)

@@elizabethpoulos7122 Hey! you could shoot the first half of the video and then go to share it button at the bottom. On the next screen there is an option to save the clip to your drafts section of reels. You can later go to drafts in reels and then continue editing the video to add other clips when you are at your destination. Hope that helps :)

Do you have any tutorial video of the reels where you the person on a reel walk on a street and few seconds in the middle is faster than the rest? Like slow motion but then the video releases again.. Not sure if explained well. 😅
Ooooh I don't but that's a great idea!!! You'd have to use another editing software for that (like Inshot) but that is such a great idea!

Please please make a video on how to make (beauty products) appear one at a time or anything appear one by one in a video.
I would record clips as stories and use the sticker feature to add photos in! Or, edit your reel in something like Canva or final cut pro!

Can you do one where the transitions don’t happen back to back. I want to do one when I’m getting ready for my wedding. But there is a lot of time in between. Also.. the popular video with the Beyoncé song.. how do you match up lyrics when you sing… help a girl out!
Brittany, absolutely!!! You can film the first clip, save it as a draft, then come back to it later to finish it. When you save it as a draft, it will be in your bio > reels > drafts at the top. Hit on the reel, then tap "edit" in the upper right corner to keep filming!!
I don’t know how to keep filming when I go back into my draft, I don’t see that option
You know the transition where you disappear and all your clothes stay on the floor? Or when people throw flowers and they end up in a vase? I’d love t see those please 🎉

I make reels about books. Whenever I show a book the name of the book shows like it is mirrored. How to fix that?
you'll need to either film on the rear camera or invert the video
CJ is right! If you need to invert the video, you can do that in Inshot!
