- Hotel Barceló Aguamarina, one of the best hotels in the whole Cala d'Or area! (Majorca, Cala Ferrera) In this video I am doing a review from my hotel room! Hotel Barceló Aguamarina got renovated last year and boy you can tell that!

Yay, a nice preview for my vacation 🙂 Even more excited about my stay there in 5.5 weeks now! I also booked direct sea view but I wonder if side view is actually nicer, where you have a better view of the beach.
The weird folding chair at 3:47 is actually for your suitcase, so you can have it open somewhere without taking up bed or floor space. Not very practical though, I rarely use those.
I think you forgot the Robinson Club in your list of best Cala D'Or hotels. Not a typical high-rise, more of a 'village style' hotel, but very nice, super clean, well-kept grounds, good, varied food, classy animation... and the entertainers and waiters all speak German, haha. That's worth €200+ per night, no? 😅

Glad you enjoyed it, honestly don't think it makes a big difference if you room is more at the beach side, probably more noisy, but hey if there are some nice girls on the beach, you have a superb view hahaha, I really liked at nighttime, you could hear the waves while going to sleep, really relaxing sound!
ahhh never knew about the chair, saw them in almost each hotel and always wondered what they where all about >>> THE MORE YOU KNOW!! Indeed not very useful, still takes up space putting the thingy in your room somewhere,... thanks for the info ;)
I had a look at Robinsons, definitely GOATED hotel yes for sure, I might just raid the place when I'm out there, and get kicked out, good for the content ahaha I had a look at the hotel, but already full when I'm out there, plus you had to book minimum a week and sometimes 3 weeks in order to make a reservation out there, not something I am looking for tbh. but yes we all love our German friends out there haha for sure worth the money!
Next week I review the F out of Barcelol, it's almost a 20min video, you will definitely enjoy that one during your lunch ;)

@@TheIslandFiles Hmm, fair point about the room orientation. I guess for a mid-day nap the quieter sea view rooms would actually be better, haha. Ideally, I'll ask them to show me rooms of both categories at check-in, if they have them available.
Yeah, Robinson Club is pretty fancy, lots of wealthy Germans (who only want to speak German on vacation, haha) go there, but always booked out, as you say. The name and email of the hotel manager is actually on the website, maybe drop him a line if you could do a proper review, it might make his hotel known to a new audience, win-win 😄

@@TheUrbanEpicure Yes mate, you can always ask what options they have available, but I think you will love it either way 100%, honestly the room was so nice and fresh, and the bed loved it, slept like a baby!!
Haha fancy as F indeed, I know man, when I'm on holidays I always try to speak in their language, it doesn't matter if its not correct or the grammar is not right, they appreciate it anyways for the effort! Same with French people loads of time they refuse to speak English or Spanish, dont get it tbf. And yes maybe an idea to send them an email, because you never know, will send something coming week to them, and just see what they reply, thanks for the tip, PREEEAACCCiated!
